Ai could be a good thing, we need a God to save the world because we Shure as hell can't do it alone. There's a thing called a crisper, It's the altering of the human genome to edit humans and make them better, faster, smarter better than they were before, basically, the perfect human, I believe people like that could be the people who changed the world in the future and make it better for all, either that or AI.

this is such a great story bc you have the mentality of a tyrant, what their thoughts processes look like, the thoughts and delusions that make them think that what theyre doing is for the greater good even though their ideas and solutions only graze the surface of the complexity of humanity

This is the first story ive heard from you that ive previously heard from another channel and its brought me to the conclusion that the reason i love your stories is mostly your telling and not just your selection of great stories. I felt so much more when you told it. Keep up the great work
When I first read this story several years ago it deeply disturbed me, but upon revisiting it here, the ending is actually quite... bittersweet. I misremembered the AI's intents, thinking his goal was to remove free will, but his intentions by the end of the story seem purely beneficial now.
