Okay this is honestly the most honest and thought provoking story I come across ever thus far. It pretty much sums up what I struggle with inside a lot. Thanks for narrating this story

I like to think that the Creature is a manifestation of depression. A force that wants you to give up, to end yourself. Nicholas beat the creature and found happiness in his family, but as all humans he has dark times and in those dark times he sees the creature.
this is like me and my depressed self in a nutshell. arguing wether i should live or not.

Hits close to home, only difference is the lack of resources. This story is that monster that comes during deep depression. The writer was really experiencing depression. And hopefully he beat it. And writing this story was a good description of depression manifesting itself in a physical form. He was able to put it into words so well! Great narration, great story! Thank you!👍🏿🙏🏾✌🏿

That was absolutely FANTASTIC! The wording with which the story was written and the careful inflections and emphasis of them in your reading of it was astonishing. There is a very sincere and human element to your voice that I enjoy very much. I was spellbound the entire time. Without a doubt one of my favorite stories I've run across in the years I've been listening to them. Very well done good sir.

The nature of existence is Perception and its being is instantaneous. The mind body spirit are one in the same. Heaven and hell are blended together. For existence to exist it must also not exist. Forced to live and die in a temporal eternity.
My point is Keanu Reeves said we are all breathtaking at E3.

@@Darksomnium very insightful. I would say that we keep living to see the end. We live to see how our life look like in the end and we need to see it through to the end, their might be a few surprises. At the very least that is why i would never give my soul.

I can relate to the protagonist in many ways a little too much (missing the chance to experience love when I was younger, and wondering wtf I’m doing with my life) and tbh I have had times where my mind has gone to dark places such as that. Oof..

I guess maybe I'm too positive to understand but I just don't see it that way. Sure, God is the cause of so many bad things but he's also responsible for all the beauty in life and there is so much more beauty. Beauty in nature, beauty in my children, beauty in kindness, I could literally go on forever. I think it comes down to this, you'll see what you want to see. If you are a negative, miserable wretch, then obviously, life isn't so beautiful. It's in your power, see the beauty people, ignore any ugliness. i think he can win that game by explaining how he would be happy in natural order, not society. for in natural order you use all you had learned, and you can feel fulfilled with your intelligent and experience. al-tho in a society you live longer. This shit tripped me out and I've at watched at least 20 of your videos already. But these stories from other people is some I've experienced myself well before listening to any of this, makes me think of the endless possibilities that exist in this universe, its mind blowing sometimes.
So I’ll have to listen again because I think I need to digest it some more. But after first hearing, was the point that life is pointless and the things we consider meaningful are illusions to shield us from grim reality?
