But in brons case it’s looking like he’s willing to opt out and be paid less because he’s trying to get a ring

Bronny shot well in the combine training and they need shooting so how he ain’t earn it? Players get drafted off potential all the time. Plus it was the 55th pick not 5th pick. Most guys that high don’t even last so it’s not a gamble if it don’t work out
All Bronny has to do is develop a consistent wide open jump shot and he will easily be part of the rotation. He is a lockdown defender who has the athleticism for fast break points every time he gets a steal. The Lakers will benefit from both mens' skillsets, especially Knecht's size and 3-point ability.

I feel like bronny gonna surprise everybody. Nobody in this draft grew up with such a pressure that comes with being a son of one of the greatest basketball players in the world. He has been around the highest level and one of the most incredible work ethic since he was in the elementary school. At this level not only skill matters. Iq, preparation, how you take care of the body, how coachable are you and how can you fit into the team… he has all of the above I believe. Extremely curious how it’s gonna work out!
