The peach went MIA
Finally...thank you for clear instructions and not speeding it up! I've lost count of how many I've tried watching and they speed up the technique section...that's the whole point of watching them!
The technique seemed great but the end result wasn't what I expected. It looks more faded, a bit wishy washy & really, where was the peach? Sorry 🙈
If you wanna see a really vibrant cool one, look at guy tangs nothern lights inspired hair!
It’s the product, plus the hair was probably over processed (meaning the color didn’t stick very well). If you want something that’s very vibrant you might want to go with a different color line 😬😱 I feel so bad saying that lol
It looked faded because of the level of lightness the color was applied on

I always use Arctic Fox hair dye, but everyone always talked about how great Joico colours are so I decided to try it. Was disappointed as the colours weren't as bold as I'd hoped, the dye was probably not very pigmented and turned out pretty dull and wishy-washy like this. Definitely going back to AF.
Try out Lime Crimes unicorn collection! It's so nice, the colors are very vibrant and they even have charts on them for the different hair tone levels. It doesn't fade fast either, which was my issue with Artic.
@@Nocreativenamehere how often are you shampooing and are you using hot water to rinse your hair? if you’re shampooing often thats the problem. as well as using hot/warm water to rinse. warm water opens the cuticle and will release the color when you rinse. try using a color friendly shampoo and rinse with cool water. dont wash your hair so much too. use a dry shampoo.
@@fallininreversetoptv My hairs actually mixed, so I don't wash my hair that often, maybe every 2 weeks max? I think it just doesn't like my hair in all honesty. I have their blue in my hair for my undercut and it's okay right now cause I haven't washed it yet, but when I do all my hair it just doesn't like me lol.

You guys can easily do this using different colors from Arctic Fox I’ve done tons of different VIBRANT colors that lasted up to five months. It’s vegan, cruelty free, smells like blueberries and a small bottle covers a thick bob (in my experience).
I was using manic panic then I discovered iroiro and the color bleeds much less and lasts longer. Also I found the darkest of blue which was what I was looking for all along. I love rocking the blue! Blue is my signature color! LOL

Looks like "🍑 peach" didn't take.
Recently used Joico rose color in my sister's hair, and it completely faded/washed out in just four washes.
Because her hair was lightened quite a bit, it made the hair pourous, so the hair didn't hold onto the pigment. If she did a second application it would have turned out that marker color.
Wish I could see what this looks like on straight hair that hasn't been styled.
Just to see if the colour flows or looks like straight bars of separate colour.

love the mermaid hair,just wish I could pull it off! I haven't use this colour line yet but will be one day. when it fades is it hard to get it all out?nothing worse than semi colours not coming out properly even with bleach etc.
You can remove any additional color with Joico Color Eraser
becksta29 not worth it, it will fade on its own as in the ending shots with just some heat and a wash the peach color was gone and the other colors were very faded

*Just used 2 tubes on my hair yesterday and I fully saturated my hair (I'm a hairstylist so I know pretty much what I'm doing besides this stuff I guess lol).....but yeah....only parts of my hair took to the color! And NONE of my roots took! My hair is a level 12 and I just touched up my roots a week ago, so.....wth??*
level 12... err hair only goes up to a lvl 10 tho?
tams c actually your hair can go up to a level 12. I guess it depends on which brand you use and how they classify it.

These colors tend to rinse pretty clear so just rinse it.

denisse montes that works? I actually had a beautiful rainbow going on but the roots which was the blue color ruined everything when I rinsed out the color 😒.

I’m a cosmo student. I see everyone so upset that it was not bright or vibrant. That’s cause the model had thick and possibly coarse hair so the color that is applied will appear lighter, than if hair is fine and thin it will appear darker or vibrant. It’s all about knowing your hair!

I have very thick hair and it’s been through some bleaches, my last one I threw on some Arctic Fox pink hair dye (it was one of the neons) and it was vibrant for a full month until it started to fade. My friends called me lava girl it was so bright. There are fashion colors that work and they don’t have to have tons of chemicals, Arctic Fox is vegan, cruelty free and fun fact it always smells like blueberries because of the natural ingredients with no ammonia added.

The thing about this fantasy color stuff is MAINTENANCE! It's great to be creative and artistic and magic. But what about four or five weeks down the road when it's time to retouch this mess? It's next to impossible to maintain this color. This is what's so frustrating to me.

I know her hair was extremely over bleached so wont hold on to colour very well but that was really disappointing. Even with over bleached hair a lot of demi permanent dyes will still stain the hair more joico so you get much better results.
The colourists technique was really good tho but the dye majorly let her down

As a licensed cosmetologist for over 20 years I’m sorry but the peach and most of the gray got completely lost in the green! I honestly for one didn’t think the color was that great! I feel like it should’ve been blended a lot better as well and I definitely don’t think the name fits either.! Go check out Guy Tangs Northern lights… I feel like this was the five minute craft version! Sorry not sorry but this was a COMPLETE FAIL !!!!!!!Really sad too I was hoping I’d be much better...

I PERSONALLY don’t know if this is correct or not but I think she’s getting at that some things are not stackable. Like how two 5,000 Kelvin light bulbs don’t make 10,000 Kelvins. There’s just two 5,000 Kelvin bulbs.

I don't like it. I thought it turned out really bad. The color green is not great at all. It almost looks like army green. It's like faded dried out green. I thought this was going to look great but turns out I was so wrong. And where's the peach? It's a no for me I would be disappointed if I was the client.
