Ting-Lu is a tragic case of an interesting card becoming less viable the more older cards rotate out of standard. Moose-stocks will only diminish over time.

Also, the new Ting-Lu has a single energy attack that does 30 damage to each of your opponents pokemon as long as you can discard a stadium in play.
Yeah, baby Ting-Lu is going to be great for spread. The stadium problem can be fixed with the Corless in the newest set (find a stadium and an energy).

Man I loved running Ting=-Lu, so happy to see your deck build do well.
Lugia has been including fluttermane to deal with ability lock
Ting-Lu can turn off fluttermane.
While not for this deck, it does occur to me that with poffin and the transformative start Ditto, you could get a lot of access to ex abilities like Squawk or Koraidon. Might be interesting to tinker with.

I still preffer radiant Alakazam over Greninja for pining damage quick. And can also boost ting lu damage by adding 20 to the active.
Sad thing is this deck is insta loss against charizard pidgeot.

Ting was amazing in the last format too! I was getting great results playing a Ting, Stones and Path deck.
That being said, most of those wins were rage quits. Might be a fun expanded deck to try

Bit random but I sort of stumbled into an idea for a deck that seemed like it might be your sort of thing. Basically Seviper (S&V) will do 180 damage for 3 energy if your opponent is already poisoned. With dark patch and e-switch the energy cost isn't bad, or you could sacrifice some damage with the double energy.
Clodsire Ex on the bench to make sure they are poisoned. Pairs well with Radiant Hisuian Sneasler, and Perilous Jungle. And then Atticus for shuffle and draw 7 if opponent is paralyzed isn't bad either.
Effectively 230 damage or 280 damage going back to your turn for a single prizer.

No, Iron valiant is an EX Pokemon.
I think that’s where tinglu falls so short, when he first came out he was kinda funny, but now that exs have all but replaced V Vmax vstar, he isn’t being as useful, now against like cheinpao, dialga, or gardevoir, he shuts their engines off

When I first encountered against Ting Lu in this ladder, I was lucky enough to have Scizor on my Dialga deck 😂
What is Diancie for? Just if you need to stall for ting lu powerup?
Stall + Draw cards, but you would rather use Koraidon’s ability
Gift isn’t just in the active but it’s damage from an attack Ting Lu just drops it
Cool idea for a video - ribombee with iron hands to take 4-5 prize cards in one attack

3:45 Mist Energy does activate on the bench, but mist energy is only activated from damage, not effects from attacks. Ting-Lu's bench 20 is placing counters, so it is an effect from the attack, not damage.

I recommend trying a future box miraidon ex deck. With baby iron boulder and rainbow you hit chien pao for weakness and with grass and iron leaves you can surprise one shot charixard. You can also use Mac belt and cobalion to one shot zard. Miraidon ex will one shot anything.

I used to think live had something weird with matchmaking but I realized there's no way they could program a matchmaking algorithm that takes into account elo and or rank and what deck you're playing. I do think there's something weird with the randomness and idk if that messes with matchmaking too

i was waiting for a updated ting-lu deck since rotation, but im not really sure about this one, it seens less effective compared to the first ver of the deck
Chien pao should be at least 50-50 in chien pao because you have canceling cologne and prime catcher and I play boss in my list but you could get back cologne or catcher with cylene. Some people panic tho against decks like this and misplay themselves out of the game lol

And more importantly, EFG had Path. Which turn off Ting-lu. So bouncing Path was mandatory. Where stadium wars right now are pretty tame.

I use to love ting-lu. I've been debating going back but the format doesnt seem vulnerable. Heavy baton is a huuuuuge card though. Gotta try that out.
