I wish these episodes weren't censored. I know that this isn't the platform for this statement, but I feel it necessary, there are far worse things on UA-cam that aren't being censored that are far more detrimental to people than needles and watching a dog getting a rock safely removed. I wish the front office of UA-cam would get their acts together and realize that these types of shows are educational and a necessity for those looking to become veterinarians themselves. They (UA-cam execs) would much rather align themselves with filth and grotesque things than wholesome, educational programming. Sad i. My eyes. Again, I'm sorry for using this comment section for this, but it needed to be said. I love you Bondi Vet.
They still put ad's on even after they demonetize them. It's about the money not the actual content.
I absolutely agree 100%
I agree. They censor stuff that has potential to be educational but I scroll on UA-cam shorts and I see an animals (most likely a goat but a little hard to tell) head being cut off. True story aswell.
I agree 100000%
I have a bad phobia of needles so them censoring those helps me but if it takes away from the video for y’all I wish they wouldn’t censor it and I just wouldn’t watch it
The look Hero gives to Dr Lisa when she shows him the rock is just priceless 😆😆
I laughed out loud.
"I can't believe I ate the whole thing!"
Dr Lisa was tempting fate there showing Hero that rock so close to his face.
He was thinking it stinks a lil bit 😭
Yeah, that was certainly not the first time he has been told off for eating rocks haha.
Can we talk about how well behaved Hero is? Not a single snip or growl. Just a bit of whining. What a good boy.
That's what I kept thinking, no biting or snapping, such a good boy.
Labradors are a very friendly breed too.
AGREED
Yeah, poor thing
aww poor thing :(
Cuz he with Asians 😂
Dr. Lisa makes me laugh, the way she scolds the naughty dogs and cats when they do crazy things. She tries to shame them into behaving. 😂🤣They seem to understand her because they always have a sheepish look on their face. So cute!
I was told "Treat your puppy or dog like a two or three year old child". It works, dogs cannot verbalise human words but they have an intrinsic understanding of the difference between praise and admonishment from their pack leader.
i once had the privilege to know two sheltie puppies from birth, they were so small that one could sit on my outstretched palm! When we played and they bit me with their razor sharp teeth I emitted a high pitched squeal just like their littermate.
When they were nine weeks old I started to teach them basic obedience, importantly a loud *"NO!"*; when they were about to do or eat something unacceptable. Most amazing was that I was able to teach them their names, e.g. "Mov 'stay, Hash come or visa versa. With a slck lead or without a lead they were both excellent at 'walking-to-heel', wrapping their heads around my calf. Unfortunately I never managed to overcome their fear / anger at cats!
My daughter has a knack for animals
@@TheAlanSaunders it would wise for Hero's owners to go with him to obedience training. Even young puppies can learn.
@@judithburke1539 ALL DOGS CAN LEARN. IT JUST TAKES TIME AND PATIENCE AND THE NOWHOW ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING. I had never trained a dog before, and I trained my sister's dog solely by reading a book about dog training. I don't remember, but I probably read more than one book !!!! This was in the 1970s and I am now 63 years old. THAT'S why I don't remember !!!!
I don't know if it was because Casey (my sister's dog's name) was a VERY smart dog and she was VERY easygoing that she was soooo receptive to her training, but she learned VERY quickly !!!!! She never forgot what to do either. ALL of my pets were easy to train . I had Casey,my hamsters, and my gerbils that I trained and they ALL did well !!!!!! In fact, my friend asked me why all of my pets acted like people !!!!
Reminds me of my mum when she caught me eating all the ice cream as a kid.
dawg was violated but he stayed strong 🤣
I love the way Dr.Chris speaks to all his cute patients may it be a dog,cat or a swan 🦢. Dr.Lisa is funny.
Oof
Uh
Thank you Bondi Vet for keeping me company on sleepless nights.
Our pleasure!❤️

I love your Videos
that black Swan broke my heart seeing him like that. I hope he is ok
I remember the follow up and he did fantastically.
"Hero the rock eating Lab" Got me on the floor 🤣🤣😂
its so amazing to see people that cared for the swan. people usually don't care about them since their "JUST A BIRD" which is obviously not true.
The relieved look on Hero's face once that rock was out almost made me tear up a little.
I SO admire people who see wildlife in trouble and do whatever they can to help
Even calling a vet for care
😍😍😍😍😍😍
I love how as soon as big bully Brutus is tied up, the other gators are like, "GET HIM!!"
"Payback!"
I feel so bad for that poor swan! he looks like he's given up
I think he realized he was finally in someone else’s hands, that it was up to someone else what happened to him 🫢 His tenacity to continue on so far is incredible!
They get really floppy really fast in some cases, but I've seen some cases that I would've dismissed as having no chance recover in no time!
Yeah in my experience many a critter just goes like that to either get better or 'sleep'.
@@batfurs3001 àQQQ
It called nature 😂😂 this is how the wild works, and how it SHOULD work
I love how he was giving love advice to a swan 😂❤
My first thought when I heard the call about the Black Swan being stuck was, “Why call the vet? Getting it out of some netting shouldn’t be too hard, I could manage that.” *sees the poor thing* “I couldn’t manage that.”
Oh no the animals thought Brutus WAS the feeding time, they simply expected the celebrations to go a step further 😭
Poor Hero! I feel ya, buddy. Had to spend some time in the hospital for extreme constipation a while back. One of the worst feelings in my life.
I hear you, it feels like rocks sometimes! Bless, hope you are doing well.
When I was in the hospital for something else , I was very constipated and the doctor ordered the nurses to give me Miralax once or twice a day for seven days and it didn't do anything for me at all !!!! THEN , he ordered for me 2 HUGE soap enemas and FINALLY I went to the bathroom after the first one !!!!! They used the second one for good measure and BOY DID I GO #2 !!!!!!!!! They cleaned me out REALLY WELL !!!!! I take pain medication EVERY DAY without fail , and that makes me so constipated that it is VERY painful and sometimes I almost cry because of it . My abdomen gets so distended that it's incredible !!!!
I hope that you have a GREAT week !!!!!
@@laurieschapro6036 *Yikes!* Yeah. Sounds bad. Had to get an enema, too. It did *not* feel good going in.
@@jodiejohnson2408 Thanks. I get constipation pretty easily, but this was the first time it was so bad I ended up *hospitalized.* Seriously hope that never happens again.
Lot of animals have learned to seek humans when they are sick or injured. That swan is an example.
Yesterday I saved a bird from my park I was just walking around then I glanced over and saw a galah on the floor with a dog running away from it and being yelled at by his owner once they left the the poor thing hopeless I ran over looking at him he let me touch him and he couldn’t hold his neck up so I ran home and grabbed a towel and picked him up, we drove to the emergency vet and he had possible brain damage so in the morning we called to check on him he was..Alive!! We where so happy he was going to a career for rehab! ❤❤❤😊
I swear labs have iron stomachs. My English mastiff/lab decided that the camera cable looked good, so he ate it in the middle of the night. 🤦♀️ He's six months, but just shy of 80lbs. It took almost a week of violent diarrhea and vomiting in the first two days, but he passed the entire cable and was back to eating his food. Darn labs man
Poor Swan💙Such a beautiful Bird!😍I have a Goose as a companion and she's so sweet.
Dogs aren't the only ones that eat rocks. When I worked for a vet, we took a stone from the game Go out of a cat's intestines. 😂
I worked at a dog boarding kennel. I’ve seen dogs poop and puke the strangest things. A couple I remember is an Obama sock and a $100 bill.
i’ve been working at one for 3 years and it’s always the labradors that throw up and poop the weirdest things…a pair of women’s underwear was the strangest find
@@hallezebrowski and sooner or later end up on the colonoscopy table because of it.
@@hallezebrowskiour labrador was crazy about plastic bags and styrofoam boxes. It was terrifying! The worst she ever did was a tin of model paint. Thankfully never needed surgery, but she was under constant supervision after the paint incident.
The look at the end when Dr Lisa told hero about rocks belonging in the garden it looked like he understood 🤣
I wish there were Bondi Vets all over the United States with people like Chris Brown and Dr. Scott to give better care to our animals. I love cats and even puppies are cute. Anyone who can help a swan is very brave. Swans can be obnoxious birds.
Yeah and also they're animals who needs treatment always just like dogs and cats. I love birds they're my favorite animal
There are people like this in the US. My mom's vet even did everything they can to treat a tiny kitten born to a stray and attacked by an unknown animal. He had horrible injuries, but the vet did so much to help him. Nobody thought he would survive, but they did wonders for him, including pain meds for his horrible injuries, and now he's over a year old and so incredibly healthy! He's gorgeous and a bit bossy... And he would have been dead without them.
Dr Scott doesn't work for Bondi, he doesn't even live or work in Australia.
I just want to take a second here to not only thank the Vets who do whatever they can to take care of our worlds most amazing animals, and creatures and I would really like to thank those that provide rehabilitation centers for all walks of animal life. I really hope Wayne was able to pull through and is out there swimming majestically on a pond in Bondi.
So how does one calculate the price for digging for treasure up the backside of a lab? LOL
I love both of these vets! Their love for animals shines bright and make it fun(ny).
Some of the funniest people I've known have been in the medical field. They see so much horrible stuff that without a strong sense of humor, they wouldn't get through it.
I hope the dog will be ok, and I know it will because this dog is getting taken care of by these beautiful and kind people from Bondi vet. And trying all their best to save animals like this❤️

The things dogs eat will never cease to amaze me.
I have to keep such a keen eye on mine, he will eat literally anything.
Those gators are all so gorgeous. It's obvious that they are in peak condition and living their best lives. Poor Brutus Kudos got put in time out - but he regrets nothing. Kudos to the park and caretakers!
I sure hope he doesn’t live there forever. Very small and alone! Not cool. Water looks disgusting. 🤮
@@karensheaffer1033that's how all water looks when you have gators, it's literally their natural habitat and exactly what they should be living in. It's very clear you know nothing.
Brutus is the face of no regrets
22:42 made me laugh bc the way the camera moves to the right to see one staring straight into the lens was hilarious lol 22:44 that frame tho 😂

@@Fyobitch_ 🤣🤣🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
Dr Lisa is very funny because the fact that when she showed him the rock that he swallowed he looked at the rock like " I'm so relieved that I got that out! ". it's very humorous If might add.
A friend told me a neat trick to use on my female mastiff that had a rock fedish & it worked, I'd tried everything, you fill a small coffee can full of coins and follow the dog around for a few days when she pooped, every time she went for a rock , I'd shake that can and say nooo!! I did this after she swallowed a big rock and passed it, she never ate rocks again
Always nice to Dr. Chris Mcgyver come up with a solution!
My little Dog used to eat small pebbles and we ended up having to replace the pebbles with grass. He eventually grew out of eating rocks. Hope your dog does the same. Good Luck!
That beautiful bird knows that you're trying to help him... he's so magestic...
The “dyed white dogs” were a poodle and a bichon. Both great breeds.
are they though?? That first one looked like an albino rat
Bichon are so happy and eager to please all the time, like golden retrievers, but less smart 😂. I had one growing up and I really miss him
@@emilyjacob1051 I had a bichon and he was the sweetest dog. A lap dog too. Had absolutely no issues at all.
@@katjoy9921 they really are such sweet hearts, amazing family dogs. So affectionate and gentle

If my lab didn’t accept food, there would be something seriously wrong with her 😅
The background howls while Hero gets his problems fixed is hilarious
When he pokes the alligators and went “go away, go away” 💀💀💀
I love the Tim segment. Brings me back to watching croc hunter
What?! No update on Wayne?! I won’t be able to sleep now…I was so invested in the poor guy.
I know, same :( I hope he's okay!
Apparently he went to a corrections facility where they rehabilitate I'll animals and he recovered 🙂
@@KimberSly I can't recall what episode it was in, but they did do an update on him later!! If I remember correctly he was rehabilitated by an inmate and made a full recovery! Can't remember whether he was rereleased to the wild or if he had to remain in captivity but either way he's doing well now.
Why don't we have more of these vets like Chris in the world.👍👍👍😍
“ThE CeLaBrAtIoN of brute’s removal” had me dead 😂😂😂😂😂😂
35:41 to those who want to skip forward… this is when they get the rocks and stuff out of the dog.
Ah, the glamorous life of a vet.
37:04 Woofy pups looks at rock and thinks Ooo a rock I must chew that
i love doc lisa chimes. she is such a cutie. and a very funny one too. keep safe everyone.
Congratulations on 1 million Bondi Vet!
At 37:03 , I was expecting the dog to eat the rock out of her hand again! Lol.
I really love the lady who helps Hero out, she is a very real hero
Lol my dog ate 4 rocks and had to get surgery. Thank goodness he doesnt eat anymore rocks
Hero lookin at the rock like “can I have it again ?”
Poor Hero… reminds me of my old good boi. Normal dogs would grab a stick and bring it over, my boi would pick up a rock and give it to us every time we came home from school. Luckily he never swallowed them though, or at least as far as I know! RIP my old good boi 😭
Oh poor swan I hope he gets better soon 💗🙏
i adore the fact that they put a gator in time out
My lab was 1 when she was sick in our kitchen and when i cleaned it up there was a head band in there.. She took it from the wash basket.. She had loads of toys, fed well.. I was absolutely shocked..
Tim and his crew always have me sitting on the edge of my seat.
Me too, I wasn't too sure at first but Tim is awesome and he's hand reared and raised so many helpless animals that would have died without it.
I've never seen anything like those poodles. I think they're going! Great talent on the creator's part. Fantastic colors. Brutus sure is terrifying! Magnificent job to all vets and staff, I love this channel. 🌻🐝🐕🇺🇸
Hero is just a big dumb sweetheart .. lol hes so cute though !!
I love him, he is so talented and gentle. I always wonder if his jaw is real.
I hope sometime in the near future, they'll show how the swan is. I love birds.
He went to a correctional institute’s wild life rehab where a female inmate gave him physio etc - he recovered.
@@didntlistendad That’s so great to hear! Sounds like an amazing program too!
@@ivyrose779 yes- a great way to address the woundedness that too often leads to the clink. Without directly addressing it- which too often just stirs defensiveness. Ask any teacher- work with a difficult child without looking at them. Chat. But let them lead. Out it all comes and then they can be supported. Some schools are very good at that, with amazing results.
A Lab that ate a rock? Very on-brand for a Lab. lol Glad he's ok.

❤❤❤❤❤😊😂 love his low friendly growls to his howling. He is so adorable.
Hero did such an amazing job with that procedure!
One of my boxers ate what added up to 2 big bowls worth of rocks . The emergency vet was astounded . He said he's seen dogs eat a rock or 2 but never this amount .
Are you leaving food down?. I always free feed my dogs,,, all my life… I leave dry kibble down always,,,, feed canned in the mornings but they always had kibble left out for them…
@@beverlybalius9303 hunger is not the issue in these cases. No animal would start eating rocks because they are hungry.
Often its an accident, like a human infant swallowing small things, while exploring the world. But it can also be a serious psychological disorder.
Hubs had a dog that ate 30 or so golf balls….fore!
" Good luck to hero! " SHE SOUNDS WAY TOO MUCH POSITIVE THAT I WOULD BE!
Chris has a goose while the rest have a gator so funny 🤣🤣
I think the colored 🐩 poodles are gorgeous.
My black lab ate a popsicle - stick and all. He pooped the stick out the next day. Thankfully
Wow. That rock! I'm speechless.
Well done Dr Lisa, pets are great but sometimes your job is far from glamorous
Black swans are so beautiful.
Thumb facial expressions are on point
love all the loving care the vets gave them here we dont even get to go in a room they do everything out in the open in the waiting room
I like the fact that heros owners are redoing their garden so ti doesn't happen again
