Top of 4th at 7,100 rpms. I don't know the actual WHP, it was street tuned by Lund racing. I'm guessing 900whp
@@GT500guy that's a perfect setup for the 1/2 mile gearing wise. The car sounds incredible! I'm also on a Lund tune. They are the best. Are you on a 93 tune?
@Twobarpsi if you have a 13/14 GT500, the stock gearing is absolutely perfect for the 1/2 mile, I go through the traps at 7k rpms in 4th gear. I'm currently tuned on Sunoco 100 race fuel. But I'm probably going to go back on E85. I think the car can do 175 in or more if I up the boost a little more and add some more timing.

Kept up? Stop doing drugs. That GT500 was in a different realm. "PuT a BlOwEr On ThE c5". Generic as fuck statement a blower only C5 is still going to get gapped.
Are all 500s Super Snakes ?
No, Ford builds the Shelby GT500, and from there, you used to be able to send any 2007 to 2014 GT500 to Shelby American in Las Vegas, and they would add the Super Snake package. Unfortunately, Shelby American ended the program last year, and they're only doing Super Snake conversions on 2018 and up Mustang GTs now. So if you want a 07 to 14 Shelby GT500 Super Snake, you'll have to buy one that's been built already.
