That seems like a lot of work to simply turn on the lights, defrost and air conditioning. (turning these three things on separately is a lot less time than pressing the door ajar switch 10x)
💯%🎯🎰‼️‼️‼️ I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THIS… no if it reset things such as your thermostat/climate control in the car, heated seats/heated steering wheel, basically reset something that is not easy to do… Maybe you have a fuse out and you want to double check, then, that would be different! And there is a mechanic in the comments who said “this is the absolute worst thing to do, I tell my customers to never do anything like this”. He’s right, because we don’t know how to fix the damn thing if now your lights don’t turn off… Or your horn or windshield wipers. Keep going crazy! there’s no second part of the video for that… Lol. And if it’s a quote, that’s impossible, it would never happen”, one you don’t know that… Two, what do I do if it does happen? Lol. Thank you for being logic and normal. TERESA!
I clicked because it said nissan, but the moment I heard IPDM I knew it didnt apply to me, my truck barely has a TCM,ECU and SECU newer cars have 5 times that amount
The better question would be for why?.. and how come is not a “known” thing when purchasing a car that has that “feature”.. they call it a feature but sounds more like a money grabbing thing 🤷🏻♀️ 🤦🏻♀️
This is the same thing a dealer would do, granted most dealers have consult or some other program to do the same things without the manual pressing shit lmao😊
Well you're an idiot😂 how would you possibly fuck up your car doing this? So what you are saying is if anyone replaces a part for their car that’ll make things worse. It doesn’t cause a problem, if it did they wouldn’t have this smart feature. It’s helpful for body shops when u wanna make sure stuff works. Do research before you comment🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
There's a better feature -the don't mess with it button in the head, click 3 times in the side of your head and say "don't mess with it" , I'm an auto tech I've been in the business for over 30 years and all I tell ppl is to not mess with these things, take it to a well recommended shop or dealer.
All these comments about ruining your vehicle is a joke. This is made for diagnostic issues, to see if you have an issue of some kind. Its just a diagnostic run through, nothing more.
Please excuse my ignorance but in what situation would a person want to use this IPDM: Intelligent Power Distribution Module test? I have a 2018 Nissan Rogue SL and my Mom has a 2023 Nissan Rogue SL... If you could give a real world example with a Nissan Rogue SL that would be even better! I love "hidden" tips and tricks! Do you have a playlist that is just about Nissan hidden tips and tricks?
I did this with my 2017 Maxima it worked out for me..... but how do you turn it off..... lost sleep last night..... between the flashings lights and the horn chirp I thought someone was trying to steal it 😂😂😂😂.
What’s the point of doing this? I’m just honestly curious. I was looking for instructions on how to let firm the back seat so I can move a bunch of boxes to my new place .
On another note dont buy a nissan sedan over 100,000 miles . I bought a used 2016 altima with 60k and exactly at 100k im selling it. The cvt starts issues after 125k miles. 150k miles if you are lucky. My wife 2014 optima is at 220,000miles no issues at all.
Yeah nissans are trash but im driving an altima from 2008 with 277,457 miles on it and man i had to switch just a few parts and its still going strong compared to a 2016 nissan sentra with only 60k miles my transmission went out and i have that car up older is usually better when it comes to nissans
It depends on driver. There is someone i know, his altima is at 500k+ miles and no issues. If you take good care of your car like putting the best oil, fuel, etc.. and drive smoothly, maintain properly and care your vehicle. No issues.
I tried this and the car drove off without me in it
It crashed ?
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
😅😅😅
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I tried this in a pathfinder I did this and it launched a missile and destroyed the neighbors house
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Why is John Cena telling me this
Why do I actually hear him after reading ur comment 🤣
lol said the same
😂😂😂😂😂 I needed that laugh because it really does sound like him.
Then it is ready for you to take it to the dealer to fix the transmission. 😂
Fr💀
You kidding right 😳
@@ELEVOPRnope 😂
Please don't scare me.. my nissan hit half millions still working perfectly
My 15 sentra already got a new trans about 70k miles ago. Now the steering motor is acting up
its almost like the switch in my semi where it tests all the lights so i can walk around and make sure they work every day
Every day?
@DorianDavisddd Yes, Everyday that I Get in the truck I do a light check with my Pre-Trip to insure im in compliance with all state and local laws.
Anyone who drives for work should and it's policy at many places, post office for example
I need this switch, can you have it installed in a vehicle?
@@DorianDavisdddhe's a trucker, kinda has to.
I tried this. It gave me a cup of tea 🍵
Instructions weren't clear, tried this and my car blew up.
I ❤CVT
I did this with my friend inside, and my car turned into a furnace. Now my friend turn into a pile of dust
I was curious just tried it in my 2015 LEAF (poor man's Tesla) and it actually worked. Even though its an ev its still a parts bin special 😂
Poor Man's Tesla - lol idk man. Poor Man's Prius maybe.
Wow we got John Cena giving us Nissan shitbox advice
My car now has wings
😂
Say your ac stops working, u can rule out the clutch. Car overheats rule that out. Can find out if ipdm is bad
That seems like a lot of work to simply turn on the lights, defrost and air conditioning. (turning these three things on separately is a lot less time than pressing the door ajar switch 10x)
Techs use it as a way to diagnose a problem
I did this, it updated my warranty fir free
I tried it and my phone automatically called my ex-wife 😮
What's the purpose? All I have to do is start it up and turn everything on😂😅

This is a good test to ensure that part that drives a lot of functions is ok.
Tried this and I saved so much money on car insurance! Thanks!!

I just did it on my 2019 Sentra S. Spooky but cool.

I tried and now I'm in heaven the car exploded
What dose it mean if it just horn beeps but nothing else happens like you said should.
I don't understand why I would want any of that stuff to happen though

Why this sounds like John Cena
Tried this in a Hyundai and lost my dogs in the self destruction. Side note whys bro sound like John Cena.
Is CVT failure considered to be a hidden feature?
its not a feature its a bug
All these comments about ruining your vehicle is a joke.

Okay so on my car is the same as this one if there’s an issue where would it tell me? I’m doing this tommorow
i tried this and my car don’t turn on anymore i need to call the locksmith now 😅
My dash lights work but go off when I turn on my head lights will this elp?
2017 Nissan Sentra ... NADA.
Does it make CVT relaiable?

I have a 2017 Nissan versa note s/v and this worked out of first try!
I did this and it engaged the ejector seat. Now I'm hiking back from 300 miles away.😰
what would be the purpose of doing this?
Aaah thats old stuff, try resetting the throttle body
Lol it worked for my 14 altima.
IT WORKED
And why exactly would we want to do this? I think we would know already, if something it not working.
Don’t do it The car will self Destruct. So your forced to buy a new one

What is the actual point?
Who here owns an Altima and has a kid name Ayden?
What is the purpose?
Post a video on how to reprogram my key follicle to my Nissan Pathfinder 2018. Please and thank you.
