I had the same experience, I just wanted to take them off ASAP. Eventually, it got better and now I feel like the braces are a part of me. I've had the upper braces for 3 months now and the lower braces for a month in 2 days, I'm starting to see some improvement, still a way to go.
You look amazing!!! I got my braces on in June 2022 and get them off in March 2023 (I had Invisalign before putting on braces but I wasn't wearing them long enough so it was best to switch) I'm so excited to get them off!!!!!
Im 49 and had to get braces done due to a broken center tooth. Its day 1 today lets see how my journey goes and i shall post a video of it in 2024 August

At 2:36 your palate is very narrow. Braces might cause it to be narrower. How can you rest your tongue on the roof of your mouth if it is very narrow like that. You don't have a teeth problem, you have a maxilla problem. All our upper teeth are attached to our palate. A narrow palate will have a direct effect to the teeth.

Your result is super, mine was not good, and how many years we must wear retainers. My ortho dentist said first 2 months 24hrs except of eating and brushing, next two year 12 hours to 14 hours a day. Do we need to wear retainer rest of life.
U have decay tooth which u took filling treatment nd thn start braces treatment... I also have same problem.my question is isnt safe to do braces treatment if we have decay tooth i mean after filling? Hope u understand
I have 4 fillings in the back that have been there for years and were no problem throughout my treatment but I did have wisdom teeth removed just prior to braces. Also, I had one front tooth that had a calcium deposit that chipped off while I was wearing braces so I had it filled as soon as I got my braces off. My orthodontist offered to remove the bracket and wire so I could go ahead and have it fixed but it wasn’t bothering me so I just waited until the end.
Not exactly sure which teeth you’re referring to but it was near the end of the 2 year treatment before my molars and canines started closing together like they should. I also had an open bite so I don’t know if that’s why it took so long or what but there was a little gap between my top and bottom teeth when I would look from the side.

@@bigoof441 They only hurt the first days after your dentist tightens them, but it’s bearable eating cold food like ice cream

Hi! The real problem is not the midline, its the class III maloclusion in the right side.
Should have had tads and extractions on the left to correct the midline.
