Russell Wilson should be mvp over Lamar Jackson. Wilson works so hard every year and puts in so much effort to carry his team to victory. I know everyone thinks Jackson should win mvp but is he really the most valuable player? Already he has a rb a te and a top 3 defense. I would like to see Jackson play for the Seahawks team. Wilson deserves mvp.
hey, seahawk fan here. As much as I agree that Wilson should've been MVP, however your statement about Lamar being so lucky to just have a great team around him in his first couple of years is kind of irrelevant. I'm sure you know everyone who was on the Seahawks roster when russ came to Seattle, it just seems like a very similar situation both of them started in.
Antonio Woo right I was just saying the fact that wilson and Lamar had a very similar situation coming into the league in terms of their team being insanely awesome. I am not saying wilson is worse than Lamar cause that’s idiotic, in fact I think he’s the best in the league right now.
Kerry Wooda a valuable player means who’s the player who carry’s there team more and what team needs that player more. If ravens didn’t have Lamar they would be fine it would affect them. And Jaxon is very overrated he has flopped 2 years in the play offs
Russell is the Lebron of the NFL... no matter whose on his team he still finds a way to win.. hopefully he can stay healthy and add to his already outstanding HOF career... as a Seahawks fan Russell was easily our best draft pick literally EVER
His pocket presence and footwork is phenomenal. Improvisation and throws on the run are still there. Excited to see what gets done with a better O Line and healthy running backs.
I'm a packers fan so it hurts to say this, but this guy is the best QB in the league without a doubt. He is the most complete QB in the league. And he is the most underrated QB in the league. If Patrick mahomes keeps up his play he'll be right there with russ. But this guy is just unbelievably underrated. Love watching him play. Quite frankly I think he got robbed of the MVP this year.
Even though the season is over there is so much to look forward to next year.. Dissly Carson and Penny being back to health so our offense will be even better and it will be DKs and all of our young players 2nd years so we’ll comeback better than ever next year I’m already excited
Keep lamar in the pocket. Ravens are just mediocre. Take seattle run game, tight ends, defense, offensive line, wilson still takes over games! Wilson is the real mvp!
@ZachLavineHive ! if you based it on last season performance you can't go wrong with either or. If you make comparison on longevity and stats in playoff wins and offensive line rankings and defense. The smart money to spend and build around is Wilson. I don't even think theres a qb better than Russell Wilson that's playing in the NFL right now. Patrick mahomes is a good qb but after this season with the huge contract kc sign him. Mahomes is going to have to carry the team without all those weapons and possibly offensive lineman.
Will disly played 2 games total his rookie season. This season he played up until the browns game and absolutely dominated with little NFL game experience. Imagine if he didn’t get injured. On top of being an excellent reciever he’s also an amazing blocker and would’ve provided Wilson with a lot more time to make the clutch plays that he can produce. Dissly was the key to Seattle making a deep playoff run. Adding on to that, Russ also lost Josh Gordon, several key components to his offensive line like Duane Brown and Justin Britt, his 1000 + yard rusher in Chris Carson, his back up tight end for several weeks Luke Willson and his 2nd string dynamic running back Rashad Penny. In the end it all fell to Russ carrying the heavy Load and taking this dissimilated team to the divisional round. He made the most with least, with a roster like this any other QB in the league wouldn’t have succeeded to the degree Russ has. Russ is a true leader. The total embodiment of what it means to be an NFL QB. Every kid in high school should try to emulate this man. THAT IS AN MVP.
Russ carried the Seahawks from 2016-2020 with NONE of the 2013 feature players and won. He got hurt in 21 and had no line of note the entire career in Seattle
What a great season Seattle , truly Russell Wilson had a incredible year but gotta tip your hats off to Green Bay , they did what they did to win but Seattle will come back stronger next year and Wilson can only do so much for this team
Russell Wilson is our MVP. Without Wilson,Seattle would still have a record below .500 stemming from Holmgren's last season as a coach back in '08. Russell Wilson was the reason why Seattle won games this season. 11/16 wins was all contributed from Wilson. He never gives up and squeezes every ounce of toothpaste he can for the Seahawks to win and he did. Seattle would've been 1 or 2 -14 without Wilson in '19 and searching for a 1st rd draft pick like it was in '09 for Aaron Curry. We'll be back next yr with vengeance.
Facts he literally carries his defense and he is the reason for making it to the playoffs. The Seahawks need to draft some cornerbacks in this years draft
The funny thing is that we got a bunch of starters and blue chip players for Russ and at this moment we could get him back for cheap if they wanted. They can give him the oline he always wanted
Varun Vemuri Homer was pretty good as a 4th string RB and playing his first game week 17, but if youre comparing to the previous games as well, Carson was probably a top 10 RB this year and Penny would be up there too if he got moe play time
Lockonese I’m okay with the run, but with Carson. Not with Homer and Marshawn. The run wasn’t working at all in the first quarter. Why would we keep doing it? Doesn’t make sense to me

Edit: it is OSU! My deepest apologies, Chris! I meant no disrespect! ;-) Go 'Hawks!
Eagles fan. But God damn i love Russ. He put the whole seahawks team on his back.
Russell Wilson is a grown man!!
mvp has become a total popularity contest, russ is the man that truly deserves it
Russel's been the definition of consistent his entire career, and has been utterly carrying the Hawks for 4 straight years. The fact he's only just now starting to get the recognition he deserves these last couple seasons shows the complete ignorance of the football community (and especially MVP voters) as a whole. -A Cardinals fan
Carrying the city of Seattle must be very tough even with that contract. Most exciting qb to watch in the NFL. Definitely my favorite after my QB
He did it well, Russell Wilson played with that one of the best catches in the season.
After watching this I realized how many players we had and are gone due to injuries. You sadly forget throughout the season...
Russell is the Lebron of the NFL... no matter whose on his team he still finds a way to win.. hopefully he can stay healthy and add to his already outstanding HOF career... as a Seahawks fan Russell was easily our best draft pick literally EVER
Worst O Line ,Lost 2 Te's ,Defense Sucked , OC wasnt great But still Led us to the divisional round You ask me I think he Should get the mvp
This is the real MVP

@@splashnskillz37 I hate yall at times but I love Russ. Plus, I have respect for good teams.
Thx for all the help russ
4:51 either this or the Tannehill to AJ Brown catch were the best throw/catch this season
His pocket presence and footwork is phenomenal. Improvisation and throws on the run are still there. Excited to see what gets done with a better O Line and healthy running backs.
dude how is this man's back not broken i do not understand
MVP! Thank you for everything Russ, and you will be back next season.
The greatest 3rd round pick in NFL history
The more u watch him the more u respect how unbelievably great he is. He puts this team on his back yr after yr. His stats are no joke.
In the same game Seattle got the best int and catch of the season Seahawks vs rams
If the Seahawks didn’t have Wilson they would be one of the worst teams in the league he deserves the MVP
@Devi Lisa and won a playoff game as a rookie qb
Y’all wasted no time getting this up😂 great season.
They already have it que'd that's why!
@@marcsondlucce ua-cam.com/video/6Mu1vIWnoKo/v-deo.html
Almost like they expected packers to win cause it was idk maybe rigged?👀👀🤣
Defense just let him down 😔
David Moore, Jaron Brown, Malik Turner, Hollister even Dissly at the time. That is how often RW found the 3rd and 4th guys.
lockett, dk, gordon??????????????
The Real MVP
Unbelievable how he hasn’t won MVP and Tyler Lockett underrated he came in clutch this season
Low key thought we were gonna come back
It’s been like that all year so I wasn’t that worried after the half ended 21-3.
If turner didn't drop that pass the outcome would have drastically changed
@1-800-Wavy yep had to rely on lockett and wilson all game long
@1-800-Wavy ua-cam.com/video/6Mu1vIWnoKo/v-deo.html
Logan Simpkins That drop was crucial😭
He's MVP in my book! Thanks for another good year Russell!!! 12th man 4 life
although he plays in my teams division i root for him to win. he's a talented quarterback and doesn't get enough credit around the league.
The NFL be so shady sometimes 😂👌
Thanks for the good season Russ 👍
Even though the season is over there is so much to look forward to next year.. Dissly Carson and Penny being back to health so our offense will be even better and it will be DKs and all of our young players 2nd years so we’ll comeback better than ever next year I’m already excited
What a monster season . MVP
I love Russ and I love the Seahawks... we’ll be back next year boys!
Hopefully we have a better staff
The man of magic
Forgot how much I missed dissly last season 😞😞
Fortunate and grateful to have him as our QB 🙏🏻
Without him and Bobby Wagner Seattle are literally the Bengals 🤦🏾♂️💯
Dont forget D.K
@@beyourself6483 you get rid of russ and D.K sucks
Not true D.K. made outstanding plays and catches all season and was without a doubt our best receiver
Ya but our back up was geno smith and he would not make D.K good
Yeah but that could be said about any wide receiver. Take away Drew Brees us Michael Thomas still good take away Patrick Mahomes is Tyreek Hill good
Man I’m so glad I came back to this video I could cry 😢
Keep lamar in the pocket. Ravens are just mediocre. Take seattle run game, tight ends, defense, offensive line, wilson still takes over games! Wilson is the real mvp!
You don’t discount somebody to praise another
@@neighborhoodtay1845 lamar 0 and 2 in playoffs.
sam hawkz so was Peyton Manning the beginning of his career
@@neighborhoodtay1845 peyton manning didnt have that defense or offense. He also didnt play in era where offense is favored by refs!
Could’ve just called this “Seahawks 2019 highlights”
hoping dissly can stay healthy next season. he was such an effective weapon early last year.
I know the MVP belongs to Lamar but if there was a runner up, Wilson would be the one. Thanks for an incredible season!
You mean "runner up"??
@@wpjohnston0213 ua-cam.com/video/6Mu1vIWnoKo/v-deo.html
@@wpjohnston0213 yup, I did. My bad, thanks for the heads up
Russell is such an amazing quarterback. Class act as well.
Russ carried the Seahawks from 2016-2020 with NONE of the 2013 feature players and won. He got hurt in 21 and had no line of note the entire career in Seattle
Yo his throws are so spot on man , straight up lasers, does he ever not throw a perfect spiral? I mean jeez every throw is a beauty
What a great season Seattle , truly Russell Wilson had a incredible year but gotta tip your hats off to Green Bay , they did what they did to win but Seattle will come back stronger next year and Wilson can only do so much for this team
The guy who has been doing the most with the least for the past 5 seasons. Better individual production than any other QB.
Not a Seahawks fan, but came here to see the REAL mvp’s highlights
i know that this video is about Russell, but that number 14 is a SPECIMEN. ain't he?
Looking back idk how russ did not win mvp, he deserved it
Wilson balled out for me Fantasy football last year from a Cowboys fan I got to say go Hawks
If Russell Wilson doesn’t win MVP....
Lamar did

Russell was the clear mvp
MVP's are found in the postseason not regular season. Why can't the nfl understand?
@@92jagdiesel no its not. They literally do the ceremony in the middle of the playoffs. Its a regular season award
Crazy how many of these RW highlights Will Dissly's in; such a shame he got hurt in wk6
Thank you Russ, for an amazing season. We’ll come back better and more poised for the title next season👊 #therealmvp
man i love russell wilson
like to vote for MVP
This man deserves the mvp more than Lamar.
Wilson out here carrying a 2-14 team
First Last oh he cares, but wants to look like a team leader
Russell my man! Untouchable!!!! GO HAWKS!!!!! 2020 Super Bowl !!!! Let's go!!!! These highlights fired me up!🏈😷🙏
2 years later and over half of Seahawk fans are happy he's gone. WTF
The funny thing is that we got a bunch of starters and blue chip players for Russ and at this moment we could get him back for cheap if they wanted. They can give him the oline he always wanted
Russ thank u so much for the great seasons u have made for us and for the great ones to come should have had at least three mvps by now GO Hawks
Why are we running the ball with Wilson behind center
Varun Vemuri Homer was pretty good as a 4th string RB and playing his first game week 17, but if youre comparing to the previous games as well, Carson was probably a top 10 RB this year and Penny would be up there too if he got moe play time
I agree I think we need to make the offense a little more pass heavy than it is. He is deadly
@@werdnaswag9311 homer can start next year but not as RB primarily . have to find some other use for him
Lockonese I’m okay with the run, but with Carson. Not with Homer and Marshawn. The run wasn’t working at all in the first quarter. Why would we keep doing it? Doesn’t make sense to me
