And from what I’ve seen from other comments, Nigredo won’t just outright try to kill the humans or become malicious to them once they’ve grown up. Indifferent or uncaring, yes. But even then, she's not out right malicious towards them. She's mostly indifferent or else she would simply eliminate them instead of giving them to Pestonya. You could even argue that she does find some minimal value in older humans as they can produce more babies. As she says, "Humans are innovators that continue to BIRTH new things."
That makes complete sense actually. Since Albedo was originally written to be ugly on the inside and beautiful on the outside, it stands to reason that her sister is the complete opposite.

Nigredo's personality is oddly influenced by which she was scripted - she was mainly meant a jump scare for her creator's guildmates.....and that was that. She didn't really have a role. So her passion to spare the lives is her scripted part, as that is what she was based on: a horror girl who would only attack if not given the love of her doll. Other than that, when she was Awaken, she has perhaps the most human characteristics almost on the lines of Sebas which allowed her to betray Ainz to the point her sister demanded her head for her treason

It’s not just about Ainz seeing the humans differently because he is not one anymore, you also gotta remember that beside Players, he sees them all as NPCs.
Man, it must be hard being one of the "good" karma characters in Nazarick. Sebas (+300), Yuri Alpha (+150), CZ2128 Delta (+100), and kinda Cocytus (+50) and Victim (+1), just barely.

Basically, if i remember correctly, if people get past several guardians and reach Victim's floor, she kills herself and all those guardians that the party had to go through to get to that floor, aka Floor Bosses, get resurrected and come to Victim's Floor at the same time to deal retribution. Knowing that Nazarick is a PK Guild (one of the strongest at that, basically specialing in that instead of doing it on the side), and the floors are extremely difficult to clear, imagine what it is like having to deal with all the floor bosses you killed....at the same time with much less resources.
Nigredo was literally only made to jumpscare the members of ainz ooal gown and i find that hilarious. The members apparently went full power trying to kill her but couldnt cause thers no friendly fire

Even though the anime onlys don't know about how Nigredo's personality about only caring about babies and not just humans, I can appreciate this scene hinting that Nigredo was only thinking about infants as Pestonya quickly follows up " Not only infants woof".
I find it funny that one of the guildmates made her to be a creepy jump scare character to scare other guildmates yet she's the one of the most merciful ones despite her looks.
Nigredo is always teetering between being good and evil, and that's a really nice contrast since albedo is an actual devil and the other sis is more nonchalant about stuff

Hard to say really. They'll be shocked that's for sure but they'll probably still be loyal to a fault for Ainz since he is the last of their creators that stay back and wouldn't want him to leave otherwise they have no purpose for existing. Albedo would probably be still loyal since he already changed her original setting to fall madly in love with him from the first season. Pandora's Actor as well because Ainz is his dad. Maybe even Yuri Alpha since she's more understanding of humans than the rest of her maid sisters. Maybe even impressed that a mere human like Momonga could bullshit his way into conquering the world and enacting insane plan that makes Demiurge blush lol
I don't believe much would change. Either they think it's a lie part of a plan they don't understand, or they're impressed by his achievements as a mere human. Look at Princess Renner for example: she managed to earn the respect of no less than Albedo and Demiurge themselves, as far as being described as an heteromorph in spirit. If she could achieve THAT as a mere human with no special powers or previous connections with them, Momonga the Supreme Being himself, the leader of the 41 of the Great Thomb of Nazarick whom they all render their most devote loyalty, would most definitely keep their respect.

Dosen't matter, he is undead now and they would see it as such. They seem to havee no problem with other undead creatures or vampires who by lore must have been human at one point
Of all the Nazarick inhabitants, Nigredo is probably the only one, or one of the few, that truly sees what Ainz' plan involves in the grand scheme of things without him having to outright spell it out in flashing neon signs.
I love how Nigredo is basically a mirror of Albedo. Her sister is beautiful on the outside and ugly on the inside, and Nigredo is like her inverse opposite. Well, as beautiful on the inside as a denizen of Nazarick can get, I suppose.
This aspect of the NPCs always make me sad. It really shows how Nazzeric just doesn't work without all the members in it to keep it in balance. The truly evil to push for more power and to ensure that all feel welcome, to be as depraved as they want to be, but also the good to ensure that the guild picks up those who are supressed. Momonga just wants the guild to grow, HIS npcs to be happy and to find the other members of the guild. Its soo...grey...
More like going into darkness the first season we supported ainz now it hard to see him like this! Plus it the hamster wheel of happiness, he wants them to be happy but his NPC Care for his Happiness and they both think world domination is what the other wants making move forward but for all the wrong reasons

I believe both her and Pestonya are programed with nursing personalities, so they care for small children only. Teens and adults probably don't interest them as much but their Karma is positive like Sebas, so they don't like hurting them.
In alchemy, there's a concept that represents three phases to turn some material into gold. The phases haves to be done in this order: Rubedo - Albedo - Nigredo. I didn't watch Overlord but i'm pretty sure that, there will be a third, older sister, called Rubedo
I love that Sebas is the highest positive karma in Nazarick but its Pestonya who keep frontally against Ainz for killing human. Man's best friend indeed.

Something's been bugging me about this scene. Why is Ainz so against saving humans? I mean I get that his character(undead) restrains his emotions, but clearly he still retains some of that humanity through the showing of his inner dialogue so it's got me a bit perplexed on why he goes so hard on this matter especially since he was human himself 🤔
dystopain world, his parent died because overwork, someone said that ainz mother died while making his favourite food, etc. NW lucky it's not ulbert the one whom teleported if he was then NW can kiss their life earlier and more gruesome than ainz, at the very least ainz create his own city that he make sure to keep the population at least happier than others.

Lo mas gracioso es que en algunos NPCs como Pestonya y Sebas es accidental mientras q en Nigredo es totalmente a proposito, en YGGDRASSIL tener Karma positivo los hace que les gusten los humanos, mientras que tener Karma negativo hacen que los detesten, y dado que la mayoria de los miembros del guild de Momonga eran una manga de edgelords los hacian todos de enormes karmas negativos y por ende odian a los humanos debido a como funciona el sistema de Karma en el juego.

It's just that the situation of Nigredo and Pestontya showing disobedience by trying save Yaldaboath's hostages has me thinking that other NPCs would most likely be disappointed if Ainz wasn't fully living up to his "evil Supreme ruler" image. Also Albedo has a kill squad tasked to kill previous AoG guild members. That's enough proof that NPC loyalty isn't fully absolute. Ainz thinks he has to keep putting on the evil persona to avoid a betrayal from happening. And that honestly just might be the case.
Pestonya is funny...She actually has to remember to say "woof" after every sentence as if it's a line she's instructed to follow.

I don't believe much would change. Either they think it's a lie part of a plan they don't understand, or they're impressed by his achievements as a mere human. Look at Princess Renner for example: she managed to earn the respect of no less than Albedo and Demiurge themselves, as far as being described as an heteromorph in spirit.
If she could achieve THAT as a mere human with no special powers or previous connections with them, Momonga the Supreme Being himself, the leader of the 41 of the Great Thomb of Nazarick whom they all render their most devote loyalty, would most definitely keep their respect.

Of all the Nazarick inhabitants, Nigredo is probably the only one, or one of the few, that truly sees what Ainz' plan involves in the grand scheme of things without him having to outright spell it out in flashing neon signs.
I love how Nigredo is basically a mirror of Albedo. Her sister is beautiful on the outside and ugly on the inside, and Nigredo is like her inverse opposite.

This aspect of the NPCs always make me sad. It really shows how Nazzeric just doesn't work without all the members in it to keep it in balance. The truly evil to push for more power and to ensure that all feel welcome, to be as depraved as they want to be, but also the good to ensure that the guild picks up those who are supressed. Momonga just wants the guild to grow, HIS npcs to be happy and to find the other members of the guild. Its soo...grey...
More like going into darkness the first season we supported ainz now it hard to see him like this! Plus it the hamster wheel of happiness, he wants them to be happy but his NPC Care for his Happiness and they both think world domination is what the other wants making move forward but for all the wrong reasons

In alchemy, there's a concept that represents three phases to turn some material into gold. The phases haves to be done in this order: Rubedo - Albedo - Nigredo. I didn't watch Overlord but i'm pretty sure that, there will be a third, older sister, called Rubedo
Rubedo is supposed to be the youngest nigredo oldest and Albedo middle

Something's been bugging me about this scene. Why is Ainz so against saving humans? I mean I get that his character(undead) restrains his emotions, but clearly he still retains some of that humanity through the showing of his inner dialogue so it's got me a bit perplexed on why he goes so hard on this matter especially since he was human himself 🤔
He is very insecure and tries hard to not show it. He does that by being ruthless.

Lo mas gracioso es que en algunos NPCs como Pestonya y Sebas es accidental mientras q en Nigredo es totalmente a proposito, en YGGDRASSIL tener Karma positivo los hace que les gusten los humanos, mientras que tener Karma negativo hacen que los detesten, y dado que la mayoria de los miembros del guild de Momonga eran una manga de edgelords los hacian todos de enormes karmas negativos y por ende odian a los humanos debido a como funciona el sistema de Karma en el juego.

If Ainz being an uncaring evil undead upsets all the good aligned NPCs (Nigredo, Sebas, Pestontya) imagine what would happen if Ainz suddenly became a weak pathetic goody two shoes ruler. Yeah. Demiurge, Albedo and the entirety of Nazarick would lose respect for him. They might even betray him.
Well it Is explained better on the light novel but you see, they look at him as their GOD. He and his friends created them and gave them purpose. Like yeah they look like family in the anime but really he is a or better "the" God to them.
@@_d-- I've read all the LN. It's just that the situation of Nigredo and Pestontya showing disobedience by trying save Yaldaboath's hostages has me thinking that other NPCs would most likely be disappointed if Ainz wasn't fully living up to his "evil Supreme ruler" image.
Also Albedo has a kill squad tasked to kill previous AoG guild members. That's enough proof that NPC loyalty isn't fully absolute. Ainz thinks he has to keep putting on the evil persona to avoid a betrayal from happening. And that honestly just might be the case.
