Great content. I have almost all those cases and more for my s23 ultra. My go-to case that's proven actually to protect my phone is the supcase unicorn beetle pro clear case. My car door swong from the wind and hit my arm knocking my phone from my hand, hitting the driveway hard and sliding under my car. When I picked up my phone, I was prying that it wasn't scratched dink or cracked. And when I picked it up, there was nothing wrong with my phone or case. not even a scratch on my case. That's why I trust it the most.
Thanks for the video! Any suggestions for a case that has a camera slide and a port protector? Seems like you have to choose one or the other...unless i missed it in the descriptions
Hi! Interesting, I hadn't considered that combination before. From what I have reviewed so far, I don't recall any that had both. I will keep an eye out in the future though.
An important thing to consider for this phone is how they handle the corners -- not just for durability in corner-drop scenarios, but also, more rounded/soft corners feel a LOT better. The S24 Ultra's sharp, boxy corners really make the phone dig in your palm in onehanded scenarios.
I haven't been specifically covering that but yes, I think the cases are doing a good job at making this phone a little nicer in the pocket and for quick deployment when you need to snap that photo. What case/phone combo do you have?
Hey! I do test all of the screen protectors and I haven't had one yet that the S pen didn't work with. It didn't seem like it would be interesting enough for me to include in the videos but maybe I will form a standard type of S pen testing. The only thing that I have seen impact the S pen is certain magsafe* accessories but those have been few and far between for what I have looked at so far. Which case(s) were you interested in?
**Thank You - That Helps** So, I like the Torras cases best. It turns-out that they have more colors. I like relativity thin cases that will still absorb some shocks. I've always been religious about screen protectors, but from what I have heard from other reviews, the new glass on the S24 Ultra does not need one, even as the prior generation did; so I think I will skip that this time. AND the anti-reflective coating on the screen, a big attraction of the Ultra to me, is mooted by a screen protector. 😊
Ah yea, they do have some nice case options for sure. I've been using an open SUPCase UB case on my S24U but have also gone without a long-term screen protector (I tests multiple cases and screen protectors so nothing permanent). When I did an anti-glare type test, I was very surprised by the results: ua-cam.com/video/A1mAipHgO6E/v-deo.html
Well, I've had my Ultra for a few days, and I am using a (FLIPALM) folding leather case that doubles as a stand, and triples as bill fold. This is really my spouse's case for when they get their Ultra in a few days (they wanted to try mine before they settled on the Ultra); I love the case, but it does not fit my use cases as well as the Torras case I expect in the next day or two; the Torras is a single piece which will work well for the way I typically use my phone as my car's GPS. Okay! The Ultra's screen with the _anti-reflective coating_ IS A GAME CHANGER for me! When I first added these coatings to my glasses decades ago, I _gladly_ paid/pay the price, and I never want a phone that does not have anti-reflective coating; it's makes viewing inside and outside sooo much more comfortable. As for the S Pen, I love it too, but I use it sporadically (as I expected). I used to use a Palm Pilot, so the S Pen on the phone is what we dreamt the Palm would become. These days I do at least half of my reading, about 1/4 of my (reams of) writing, and 3/4 of my media consumption on my smartphone. I resisted buying a PDA for some time, but once I got one, it became as inseparable as my smartphone has become; AND the stylus was a BIG part of the PDA experience, and I have found the S Pen to be at least as nice to use, BUT not quite as necessary due to the great touch-screens we have now. 💙💚💜
so do you think UB pro case offer the most protection from drops? or is there another case? I love the camera protector on the poetic spartan but the UB pro seems to offer better protection overall.
That's a tough one. I quite like the Supcase UB Pro and the Poetic Spartan. I actually switch between both of them ever few weeks on my S24U. While I do like the addition of the camera door on the Poetic, I still think it's nearly equal to the Supcase UB Pro. I think there are scenarios where the camera door can come in handy but to be honest, I have never personally cracked a camera lens since I first started buying smartphones. It's been a little bit since you posted, sorry for the delay, I've been insanely busy. Which case did you end up going with and do you like it?
@MobileTested I chose Supcase UB Pro for my S24U due to suspecting it has better drop protection. And I had same case for s20 fe which performed phenomenally after i dropped it so many times

They are solidly built cases, that's for sure!

Nice video, BUT how do these integrated case-screen-protectors do with the S-pen?

don't the raised edges make it hard to use the Apps Edge feature?
What is the wireless charger stand being used??
Hi! Sorry for the late reply here! It's from a company called FABCINY but unfortunately, I don't think they sell this specific one anymore.
