This interview took place in my hometown, George Harrison showed up without any guitar, and a girl in the audience gave him this guitar to play a song, and this is what unfolded
Thanks a lot for sharing this Beatle Bob! I just have one question, how did you obtain a copy without text? If I'm remembering correctly this performance was cut from the 97 broadcast.
Only the first airing at 3AM had no text. All other broadcast had scrolling text about his death... I got this on DVC tape, much better than DVD or VHS
@@walawala1973 Bob I'd like to switch gears here for a second if I might..... I've been collecting rare stuff for decades and it's kind of sad that the 75 Melbourne Wing show on a couple CDs has the soundboard but not complete. So over the years I've got the complete show but it's been patched together and it's awful, I'm talking about audio only. Now somebody just recently as of a couple years ago released the complete show without hearing the tape slowing down and speeding up and it's not too bad a bit of a hum but all in all not too bad at all. I guess the only person that has the complete soundboard recording is McCartney.

Great performance! From what year is, though?
Taped in 1997, VH1 re-aired a new edit of the footage with more music in late 2001, the night he died :O(
I can't decide if you're being sarcastic or not, because the annoying '1997' is plastered all over the screen.
@@nightlife6899 I was joking :)
