Control Your Canon XF400 with a Browser over IP

Is the XF400 capable of streaming clean video over IP? I hate the miniHDMI connector there, it works in 30% cases with the same optical cables and adapters (why not a full size HDMI, Canon, WHY?)

Yes. The XF400 can stream over IP with two choices of output signal: 1080p/60i @ 9 Mbps and 1080p/60i @ 4 Mbps

@@BrianBuckalew thank you - somehow I doubt that interlaced mode would be used nowadays for IP video protocols, since those are usually progressive and rely on whole keyframes? However the main thing is - how do I receive video feed over IP from my two XF400 - does OBS or vMIX get the stream from network (just by adding an IP address as source) or do I need third party app?

Yes - OBS can receive the signal from the XF400 simply by adding a new source and using the IP address from the initial setup. Here is a video I just made: Canon XF400 • Live Streaming Over IP
