Lmfaooo I love when I end up in these compilations!! Thanks for including me!! I HATE MLM'S!!! I lost a very good friend over one of these!! Idk if anyone remembers WAKE UP NOW! around 2013 or so. My friend would show me fake paystubs and stuff. She suckered me out of $115 and I blacked on her when she didn't give it back by the time she said. She said I have a broke persons mindset and that I'll never be successful. We never spoke again!!
Amway took one of my best friends from me and was the primary cause of her husband going to jail for two years. I hate that company with a burning passion.
OMG I was just thinking of a past mentor of mine who is very MLMish about how he structures part of his business and he was also raised MORMON! LOL...he is very successful and ambitious but one time he shared the books he was reading with me and one of them was about how to start a CULT! LOL...he also spewed what I perceived to be anti black rhetoric and he became fast friends with the real life Wolf of Wall Street and that's when I completely distanced myself
As a parent of teenagers who will be out in the world on their own in a few years, I think one of the important conversations I should have with them is how to identify and avoid mlms. They were a new thing when I was younger and I almost got pulled into a few in my 20s but my intuition always said, yuck, no 😂. Not everyone has that so if you have teen soon to be adults, talk to them.
How did I know Primerica was going to be apart of this. I currently am mad that I paid $134 for it and I am living out of my car i can't afford it and I don't feel comfortable calling a bunch of people into this it feels wrong
Go to bank and change your account information so they can't just keep automatically taking from your account. I pray that you get a breakthrough for a better housing and financial situation.
Had a coworker who tried to get me with the Herbalife, he himself didn't trust that mess and was coming to work just like the rest of us everyday making his little change so I knew he was not gonna get rich anytime soon.
The meetings the people speaking about, seems creepy. What if someone go sit at one of these meetings, they try to leave. The weird people hosting the meeting lock the people in there. I have a major trust problem, I do not trust people. I knew someone years ago that went to one of these scams. The second meeting, they start asking for money. I want to retire comfortably, I certainly will not go to strange people get quick rich meetings. Greed is so addictive to many people Be careful and safe everyone
I had a dude come at me with some compliments then try and get me to sell books - it was a weird MLM and I didn’t entertain it, I thought he was flirting and I was like “nope” 😅
My best friend from school her mother sold Amway to my mom and the products sucked so bad, with the way my mom cleans it needs to clean or its just water, it was just making the surface wet and we lost money and a friend.
There are you-tube commercials where you can have your own business and the website is in the name of the people making the videos. If you watch the webinar, they talk about "sales tunnels" and you "won't be bugging friends and family to buy the products". If you pay the 100 bucks or so to join another webinar (a refundable amount) you find out that it's only one product (a water system) and the more units you purchase yourself, the higher the percentage you earn when you sell to others, and they do actually mention selling to friends, family, etc. This is why new recruits make the videos encouraging people to "start your own business", so that they can get other people to buy at least three units (over a thousand dollars or more, I can't remember exact amount but it was high) when they "start their business". They never talk specifically about average annual sales, and most likely all the videos made to recruit new people are actually the advertisements for the product.
Vector Marketing 🔪 eh?!😅😅😅😅 screw those MFs I remember them they almost had me in 2006 but I was divinely redirected away from them. I'm surprised their raggedy arses are still around.
Y'all young women need to learn your own worth and value and start learning to say NO...as easily as you can say yes..I have boundaries that are un passable unless I CHOOSE to allow you...I can say NO...easily...I can also use discretion before I say YES
Dude, you can. I was in amway for all of a month, bought 120 "pv" worth of junk which equals about $450. I IMMEDIATELY canceled after I got the delivery... and not only did I get ALL my money back (even on the items that were not subject to refund) but according to the help line person I spoke to, I didnt have to return the stuff!! So I got $450 worth of product for NOTHING!!😂🎉😂
I remember when my aunt was wanting to rent a house and the people were with Team National. They wouldn’t stop pushing it on her. She acted like she was interested to get the house. She got it. She also went to a meeting and paid 2000. for a membership. She only ended up buying some emu oil and getting money back from shopping online.
I'm blocking this channel from my recommendations because it always leaves out the "part 2" of stories even though they sound like they're relevant to the topic and it's frustrating. It would cost you zero effort and be more satisfying to the viewer.
One other thing I realized that they do is gaslight you to think that "just trying it out" or seeing if its right for you is equivalent to being a "quitter". Like, how many people continue to use a shit product after they try it? Isnt trying something in the short term a way of finding out if its for you?
Ohhhjh SCAMway. Different generation, same BS. They’ve been around forever. I think they started off selling soap in like the 80s? They’ve been around forever. Still cringe.
My other friend warn me if i warn my friend i would lose her i said bye if she that dumb to fall for this i cant be friends smh i known her since elementary school and she got mad thought i didnt support her they brain wash them these mlm just cant believe people this dumb
Mormons are great at MLM's. Mormon women are encouraged to be stay at home moms so working from home appeals to them. Anyone who's been on a Mission (women do them too) make great sales people. They're use to hearing "No!" and getting the door slammed in their face. But they just keep on goin'.
i really dont know why primerica gets a bad rep?... i've made decent money in the company and i've helped a lot of people i think it really depends on they people you work with.

you should do a story time on that.
How did they cause her husband to go to jail?
A lot of Mormons start MLMs strangely enough.
Yes because brain washing is 2nd nature to them,

My sister stole 15k from me to fund her mlm.
Did it press charges? I understand if not, but I sure hope you did.
Godd*mn, son! Thats addict level stuff... its sad especially since she probably felt trapped but definitely desperate, among other things.
😮 whaaat wow, so sorry that happened. That's devastating. Make her pay for what she has done, please press charges. SMH
😮😮😮 omg - I'm so sorryyyy - ppl really really really believe in the mlm

Exactly.
Primerica got me when I was looking for a work from home job so I could stay home with my daughter. Worst decision of my life...

I was in the knife scheme at like 18 and the Primerica one recently.

@25:38 ritual much 😅 That would be a good horror movie 🎬 about MLMs. She's a great storyteller. She had me cracking up.

Fun fact almost all mlms are founded in salt lake City Utah home of the Mormons.

Not all MLMs can be bad! There has to be some that are decent. I still like Mary Kay... I'm in poor health right now or I'd go back.
No woman ever tried me but two different times a man asked me on a “date” the date was an attempt to recruit me 😂 so freaking rude
