Beans/peas usually need a special staking method, where you tie two or mor together for the plant to grow along. Kinda in the shape that sunkern evolution was in.

I love the approach by El_Dark_Core here. These are really fun designs and incorporate a lot of visual themes and styling I enjoy, I'll have to look at more of their stuff! I've been thinking more lately how sometimes, emphasis on fakemon fitting pokemon's design principles can feel limiting. There's merit to designing what you would love to see... Or just what you want to make! So I like hearing Brandon point out both what they like here and where the designs break pokemon norms but also pointing out that is part of the artist's intent, and how that's okay. It's fun, and it's a creative thought exercise!

I do love the concepts for a lot of them though, like Togepi, Chinchou, and Ledyba.

The designs are a little too... extra for me, but there are a bunch I like, and the art itself is super awesome, absolutely love the rendering on the colors and effects here, A+.
Also I think the new Tyranitar is actually pulling from another famous Kaiju, Rodan (the giant pteranodon closely associated with Godzilla, but actually started as his own thing, he wasn't always a godzilla character) he was created (or at least debuted) 2 years after the famous flying kick physics breaker had his first movie, Rodan had his first movie and no Godzilla in sight. Though he seems to not be a mainstay like Mothra or King Ghidorah as he's only apparently been in 3 movies total including his first one, so only two appearances in godzilla movies and all seemingly don't give him nearly as much focus as the more notable main-stays, though apparently he's used as a Godzilla ally, (which is interesting to think about how this alternate Tyranitar would interact with the original and Duraludon/Archaludon, I can definitely see a alternate Duraludon going less Mecha-Godzilla and more Gigan? (Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the one with scythe-like arms and the buzzsaw in his chest).
It seems that the houndour is based on inugami, considering the chains, the fact that the head is intact but the body ghostly, and the fact that houndour shares the palette of shin megami tensei's interpretation of innugami
