I run this peep and as an "older" 😆 archery, these make seeing the pins and the target WAYYY better. Love the versatility. The easiest way to get the clarifier in is to press it in on a flat surface. Plus you don't smudge the clarifier (or drop it!! 🤐). Housing comes in purple! Great vid on the peep ties!
In case anyone wants a better understanding of how to finish that 2nd knot it is called a rizzuto finish. I've used it for 10 plus years in some of my fishing knots For connecting braid to Mono
Great job! I've watched probably 20 videos on tying in peeps and this one was the best, clear understandable instructions! Thanks for another great video
I really like the second knot, very clean approach. I had been using one by Dudley where the first half of it is comprised of half hitches and the second half like yours, I'm going to give this a try.
That second tie in is how a lot of recurve archers tie nock points. When you tie that on serving (like you would for a recurve nock point), you can actually turn the knot up and down the servings like you would a bolt. Very handy knot to know.
The last knot that loops backwards and conceals the tag end is call ‘Rizzuto Finish’. I use it all the time for fishing also (how I finish my FG Knots).
I know I’m a little late but what my cousin does is he draws his bow back to his draw length with a broadhead on it to see how much room he has with the arrow, cuts it where it feels comfortable, and then makes sure all of his other arrows are the same length. Not sure what he uses though.
Good video, I don’t agree with the high end peep in a hunting rig, seems like it’s extra thing you have to worry about during a hunt. A 5/16 peep fits nicely around most hunting size sights at full draw. Most of those adjustable peeps add weight on the string which slows the bow down.
@@armandoortega5993 wow, yeah OkAy. Welcome the sport of archery and bowhunting, take up reading and attempt to actually learn something rather than just posting like a Chris Bees lapdog. There are far more reasons to not put those peeps in a hunting rig, than support doing it, speed being a small reason.
@@6saturdaysaweekoutdoors yeah I agree you don’t need a fancy peep for hunting. I was disagreeing with the what you said about speed being a main issue when using a peep like that.

Whats your draw length and arrow length? Im running 300 spine VAP SS and i always wonder if im under-spined but i even called VAP and asked them. Im shooting out of an Rx-1 at 74# draw and 29.5” DL. @@mikeguy9668 im only running 60 grains total up front for inserts. Then 100 grain heads. Ethics insert and collar/sleeve. Came in at like 485 grains total arrow weight if i remember correct. I went to my local archery shop and bought a Mission Hammr. We installed the peep, and when I look through the peep, I see the quiver. Yes, I’m looking through my right eye (in right handed), and he had me draw back and I am not torquing the bow. Anybody else ever had this issue?
im confused, why are we putting lens' in peeps? they make the pin or the target blurry depending on the users eyesight? huh, why would we want a lens ? just look through the peep, line up the target and shoot!! we are over complicating things here people!!

The 37 degree is for shorter bows axle to axle and the 45 is for longer bows axle to axle

One of the best I've seen explaining step by step how to tie that peep knot.
Another great video. Any chance of one showing how to straighten a twisted peep?

I made the stems on those G5 mega meat/ dead meat broadheads! I work for G5/prime as a CNC machinist! So cool to see you shooting out products🔥
That sounds so much cooler than making mop heads :( lol

how are those peeps in the rain? can you shoot if they are full of water?
If you dont have that kind of thread to tie it with What do you use
Is it possible to put a lens in it in the prescribed strength of your glasses ?
What is a target that will last after lots of shots. Nice vid keep it up 🐝🐝
can some one demonstrate how the release works been watching archery on T V but cant see how the archers release the arrow.????
Bro that cricket had me thinking my car was about to fall apart. 😂
When’s the mule deer vid going up?
Good vid. I removed my peep and haven't looked back. Works good for me.
what's the material of those strings, Chris? Or would Fishing twine work too?
What type of insert are you choosing to run in you arrows?
what broad heads are you running this season?
Love the videos
Very helpful since my peep sight just moved on me lol 🙌🏽
You ever use the bee stinger stabilizer
Thank you. So nice that you did it slowly, in picture and in focus.

What scale do you use to weigh your arrows
Nice jobb........👍👍
What broadhead and weight are you planning to run?
What broad heads do you use?
Do you have the 6” or 9” Axcel achive xp sight?
He was definitely using the 9" version. But last I saw he wasn't using the axcel achieve XP anymore.he has been shooting with the shibuya sight
He is using the 6”

Adding a bigger peep isn’t going to slow down the string enough to notice while hunting.

Hey everyone I have a question. So when u have a uv3 paired with a accutouch how far can u shoot
As far as your bow will allow you and whatever your sight tape allows for depending on bow speed, draw length, arrow weight, etc….
Sunday I had a 6x6 at 38 yds and my peep was sideways where I couldn’t look through it at all. So disappointing.
