- The Ancient Egyptians have been a mystery to us for centuries. Now, a fresh debate's been kindled......What lies in the hidden chambers of Tutankhamun's mausoleum in the Valley of the Kings? Could it be the famed Egyptian beauty, Queen Nefertiti? A British Egyptologist hopes so. Let's take a look.
Many years ago I visited the Valley of the Kings and saw many of the huge tombs there. After that, I entered King Tut's little tomb, which was minute - only 4 little rooms. I would not be at all surprised if, when Tut died suddenly aged only 19, he was hurriedly buried in the entrance hall of his step-mother's (Nefertiti's) large tomb. After all, Nefretiti died only 10 years before Tut.
It has now been over a year since the British expert announced scans of the wall showed possible doorways - but since then not much news. With modern technology, surely a tiny hole could be drilled enabling a photo-optic cable to be inserted. I do hope this can be done asap to put me out of my misery!

It would take just 24 hrs i bet, to drill a tiny hole and send through an optic fiber camera. That's all it takes,. what are they waiting for? What are they so afraid of?
I. Sure there is tons of red tape, BS and paperwork....permits and so on to be cleared before they go further. You can't just go in and start drilling a hole in the wall 😩
Why not, a tiny hole, and its for legitimate research. They blew their way into the Pyramids with TNT, and thats just for starters. now all of a sudden everything is untouchable. What are they afraid of???

I could understand why they wouldnt want to cut a hole into the wall IF theyre doing it through king tuts tomb, if anything they should do it through the passage that leads to tuts tomb. It seems like theyd be able to get to it through there.
There's lots of paint damaged on the walls. Plenty of room for a little hole to fit ;).

- On a personal level I do agree, he does have a public relations image problem to say the least.
But undeniable fact is that is among an incredible small number of people that are real experts on ancient Egypt. ;-)

Zahi Hawas opinion is but only ONE opinion......the matter needs to be studied with precise forensic methodology......and either proven right or wrong.....if correct, the impact would shatter what so called "history" has been stated and bring about an avalanche of world attention to Egypts very proud past.....if wrong, that would end this theory, with nothing lost....every avenue of proper research needs to be followed to its own conclusion, not the sole opinion of one person.....

She was buried in the valley of the Queens plus Nefertiti ruled in her own right

Tut's wife would not have been buried in the Valley of the Kings - whereas Nefrititi was a monarch in her own right - an 'honorary man' if you like.

and they were Queen Tys parents so it's totally possible that Anahksuaten or maybe Nefertiti is behind that wall

His wife was his half sister, the daughter of King Akhenaten. So, she didn't marry him for luxury because she was a princess herself.

Egypt is screaming for tourist to return. That single industry is so deeply rooted in the economics of Egypt that the lack of tourist is nearly wrecking their very infrastructure. So, there are ways to drill a hole and use cameras that would not affect the delicate state of the wall paintings. Additionally, one of the chambers could be accessed through a hole in the storage room off of the main burial chamber. But that's not all. Least we forget that there are voids in the Great Pyramid. There are ways into it from the Kings chamber wall near the broken sarcophagus. However, it seems that HowAss has had a side tunnel cut into these voids some time ago. There's a meshed steel grate over the opening that leads to the area of the voids. HowAss has dismissed all attempts at finding out why that tunnel was cut, and the Egyptian governing body is happy to do whatever it takes to make sure no one gets into that side of the pyramid. What are they hiding? I say boycott Egypt until they get off their lazy, or crooked asses. Peace,
Sean Whittle - Why do people need to be such asses. "Populism" might look good on camera but it's a "shit" of scientific method. A hunch is good enough for all the pseudo alternative historians. But thankfully there's a few people here and there who know a bit more...
Nothing was found and by now we would have a bit more destruction of the site, for NOTHING. Worse that would be a constant for the future, since there's no going back.

In no other tomb in the Valley of the Kings are there hidden rooms. There were undisguised secundary walled compartments, none disguised with paints. Since the tombs were designed to be very secure, there would be no reason for such sophisticated disguises. And even for spiritual reasons, you would cause some confusion in the soul when it came to visit the tomb to stock up on its buried goods.
