he marked the guest beds for guests only... and you can set buildings you dont want them going into as private buildings meaning they shouldn't just wander in there... they will also hang around where their job is located so for most jobs you can place the job signboard into a room and they will do their job in that room (for most jobs it doesn't matter where the signboard is... farming is an exception where the board needs to be where the farm is) so if you place their job boards all in the same room (minus farm one) they will all hang out in that room while they are working and then go to their marked bedroom for sleeping... you can later hide these signs from a faction board if you dont like how all the signs look so the room will look like it doesn't have any signs in it.
@giwrgosdavola74 Hi there! You are correct and you can make your own resident stay in one place. Once you hit level 2 of the hearth stone you can drag and place your residents all across the base. Once you place them in a desired location you only need to speak to them (i think the option is something like 'Actually...' ) and ask them to wait on the spot.

EDIT: what I was replying to is gone since we've cleared it up, but I'm still leaving this up for the information Sir I never said anything about them being on the floor, or them protecting the items inside them. You're right, fireproof pouches DO NOT protect items INSIDE the pouches from fire. The only way to protect individual items, from in this example fire, is a fireproof blanket. However, items in your inventory if you do not Have a fireproof blanket, or it ran out of charges, can all get destroyed by fire unless fireproof. My point was, that this INCLUDES THE BAGS. If you do not have any blankets, and your extra bag/chest/box inside your inventory is NOT fire/acid/coldproof, the bag/chest/box ITSELF can get destroyed, and the items will not spill out of it, they will simply all disappear along with the Container. Therefore if you're carrying extra containers such as pouches or backpacks in your inventory for extra storage space, do not have them acidproof, and have No blankets, those containers can get destroyed when you get attacked and you will lose all items inside them. I was never talking about them protecting the items you put in them by being fire/acid/coldproof, nor was I talking about placing them on the ground. also the first line was a joke, I genuinely wanted to know what you mean because I simply wanted to give good advice for everyone enjoying this game as much as I am.
@jhonangarthor You are being incredibly respectful and while I didn't read your initial line as a joke, I also acknowledge I was extremely heated. For that, I apologize and I'll be deleting my comments in explanation since you do know what you're talking about in that very specific and select case. I suppose since I didn't see what you told Kissel, I took extreme issue because the way he phrased it, as well as questions that started coming in on Discord, were around the very topics of fireproofing containers to protect their contents. You know it, I know it, but the way it was delivered in the video gave the impression that it would extend that protection to its contents. Well, regardless, I hope you enjoy Elin. I also love the game too and I took that a bit far this time.
No worries man, I'm not gonna lie to you I never mentioned acidproofing the containers (because I currently don't have acidproof liquid to test out if you even CAN), what I said was a reply to someone who said they use packages as extra space because of their weight, telling them that if those packages themselves get destroyed by elemental damage, all the items inside them vanish, so I told 'em to change those to something else (i use plastic pouches cause you can craft those and they're light (edit: and fireproof) ). I get where the misunderstanding came from tho because I also initially thought (Hoped.) that containers protect stuff inside them, but I learned the hard way that they don't. If Kessel reads this pls add that as a bonus fact next video lol, regardless tho the best advice is to always have some blankets both on you AND your companions (their items get destroyed too) and that still stands.
@@jhonangarthor I am so sorry you had to go through this because of me! This one's on me and I owe you one. My sincere apologies! I will make this point in the next video and add a highlight comment explaining the misunderstanding. I must admit that I was also super certain that it would work since I was playing with some material hammers before and it definitely changes properties of the items. For some reason I also thought that a potion of mercury can fireproof items but I must have dreamt it (it only acid proofs them). So it all made sense to me that properties that can be added to gear would work for containers. I truly appreciate you helping people in the comments and it was one me to double check it so no misunderstanding happens. So once again - I'm super sorry for this!
@@Rainner_Von_Kessel All good, we all had the best of intentions here and I just assumed you tested it cause I didn't get to, I went and tested it just now to make sure but No, you infact Cannot use acidproof liquid on containers, so the only way to make them fire/acidproof is by making them out of materials with those properties either by crafting or material hammer (there is nothing coldproof in the game to my knowledge, not sure tho). The main point is that even if the containers have those properties, they *won't protect anything you put inside them* it just protects the container itself, since a lot of people misunderstand that (myself included initially)! So once again - as long as some people learn from this I'm glad, and I'll keep on adding relevant tips I figure out in the comments, we're all figuring this game out together after all edit: youtube is failing to bold the part I'm trying to bold I'm strugglin out here
That's a really great question and frankly I have no idea. It will be a bit challenging to test this but I will do my best. Thank you for bringing this up!
@echoesinthevoid4663 Hi there! Yes, you can have multiple lands at the same time. Not only that but it is somewhat encouraged by the main story line and various benefits that come from different biomes. You can also choose to just ignore most of the base development in the game but as you might have seen in my videos it's one of the most interesting parts of the game for me. Hope it helps you make the right choice :)
Yes, you get a second one just from progressing story missions, and after that you can claim any wild territory you want with a land deed (they're expensive tho)
@@Rainner_Von_Kessel I see, have you ever thought about making a series focused mainly on property development? Most people who make videos about this game never go into depth on this aspect. Of course, I'm just suggesting an idea, if you don't feel comfortable with series, don't worry, your tutorials have been a great help so far.
Fireproof potions, firstly, don't exist in Elin. Acidproof potions do, of course, but they're not used to acidproof your backpack either. Because... to start with, you can't. Acidproof potions can't be blended with containers, only gear. And secondly, why would you want to? Acid damage (e.g., from acid slimes) and acid traps don't target your backpack's contents at all, or even your backpack itself, but rather, your equipped gear. Nerun herself literally says as much when you get hit by acid damage for the first time (and your gear goes to -1). Also, I have fireproof (simply from materials, like scale) backpacks already. Does this mean I haven't needed fireproof blankets since? Nope. Their charges still get consumed. Sure, you could argue that fireproofing your containers means that they're safe when you drop them on the floor and they don't get burnt by fire hounds or wyverns, but that's irrelevant to the current point. When they're in your inventory or when used, all items in them are independently subject to fire damage that only a fireproof blanket can prevent. Otherwise this fireproofing would completely obsolete them. Which is, again, impossible since fireproof potions don't exist. And fireproof containers themselves don't protect their contents when you're carrying them around (again, emphasizing the point).
This was incorrect info and it is absolutely on me. I have misunderstood one of the viewer's points. My sincere apologies! I was under the impression that a mercury potion can fireproof items. I must have dreamt it (because it only acid proofs them). Before I was playing a lot with some of the material hammers so I have incorrectly assumed that potions may have a similar effect. Sorry for causing all the confusion and thank you for clarifying this.

So once again - as long as some people learn from this I'm glad, and I'll keep on adding relevant tips I figure out in the comments, we're all figuring this game out together after all
edit: youtube is failing to bold the part I'm trying to bold I'm strugglin out here
How many days have passed for your guy?
Does the policy level impact the gain of tourism value?
That's a really great question and frankly I have no idea. It will be a bit challenging to test this but I will do my best. Thank you for bringing this up!
Excuse me, I was thinking about buying this game but I have a question, is it possible to have more than one territory at the same time?
@echoesinthevoid4663 Hi there! Yes, you can have multiple lands at the same time. Not only that but it is somewhat encouraged by the main story line and various benefits that come from different biomes. You can also choose to just ignore most of the base development in the game but as you might have seen in my videos it's one of the most interesting parts of the game for me. Hope it helps you make the right choice :)
Yes, you get a second one just from progressing story missions, and after that you can claim any wild territory you want with a land deed (they're expensive tho)
@@jhonangarthor Thank you for the explanation.
You kinda sounds like codebullet :D
My first thought was Anomaly, when he began on UA-cam :D
u need 22k per 30 days as tax 😱😱😱😱
Don't worry it's not that bad :) I have requested to pay an extra 20k in taxes all by myself :) It is one of the ways that allows you to gain an additional 20 golden bars a month.
