Addition to tip 2. If you still want some challenge, but clicking is a pain, look in your keybinds settings. At the bottom you'll see an unbound option for an alternative fishing button. This is basically something you can do to click without clicking. I bound it to X. This lets me hold down the mouse button until I hit a barrier, then mash X to break them without letting go of the mouse click. Feels much better on my fingers and is technically a little more optimal without just removing that part of the game.

Oh definitely, I'd say give it a shot, it is SO enjoyable! As I got it I literally could not stop playing for the following few days since it was so much fun and so many things to explore, and the people on it were nothing but fun and friendly!
Well as of writing this I got the game and got immediately hooked as soon as I took my first steps into the world and I'd say this is definitely one of the games that I can play for many hours and I've already have had some very pleasant conversations, I love every aspect of this game and I hope to play it for the years to come
it's pretty simple actually, all you have to do is install ThunderStore mod manager, select webfishing, and choose any mod that you like, if you want i could make a tutorial on that as well!
Sorry you see it that way. This was just supposed to be a fun glitch to maybe draw attention to the developer to fix it in the future! Every game has bugs, and this is just one of the ways you can help fix them! :D

The default bind to go upward is "shift" I believe, and to go downward it would be "ctrl-control".
