- Hello Everyone! Sit back and relax with us aboard the Georgia Queen for an exciting sightseeing riverboat tour of Savannah, Georgia. We're enjoying some southern hospitality during a daily lunch cruise through Savannah Riverboat Cruises. We enjoy a southern-style buffet all while cruising along the Savannah River listening to the Captain’s intriguing tales and historical facts about Savannah. We get up close to some of the largest cargo ships in the world and learn the history of Old Fort Jackson, home of one of the country's largest and oldest original artillery pieces! We were lucky enough to capture the cannon firing a thunderous shot.
The cruise lunch buffet features Savannah Shrimp & Grits, Southern Fried Chicken, Chef’s Specialty Station, Macaroni and Cheese, Southern Greens, Seasonal Vegetables, Sweet Potato Soufflé, Fresh Fruit, Coleslaw, Cornbread, Dessert and more!
Boarding at 12:00 p.m., Sailing at 1:00 p.m., Returning at 2:30 p.m.
Sunday- Friday: Adults $51.95* each | Children( 5-12) $28.95* each Children 4 & under are complimentary

Ok… totally in awe of those vessels!! It’s incredible to see the cargo ships and all the containers!! You just never realize the vastness of those ships and seeing them up close brings it to reality! I went on a cruise on the Georgia Queen several years ago and absolutely had a blast! Be sure to wear sunscreen though if you’re going in a day cruise and drink lots of water!
Loved the video food looked good but I understand eating off the boat it was amazing seeing the size of those ships and the weight they carry the dolphins are always enjoyable and they are so smart getting that crab for free who's smarter them or us the answer is plain to see lol your trip is awesome and I'm having so much fun with my roadies exploring can't wait always for more made my day now I'm going to hit the road myself and explore so have a great day until next time thanks for sharing

I recommend Joe's Crab Shack on the east end of River Street..also Wet Willie's if u wanna enjoy a mixed drink or two😁

Enjoyed your video. Thanks for the info on the food. I will skip it. I have eaten on River Street and Broad Street several times and the food has always been good. I think going between the container ships was more interesting than the city views. What kind of camera do you use and do you use an external mic?
4:35...a friendly reminder, it's cole slaw not coeslaw. Anyway, I used to work there on the river on the dredge Hampton Roads. I'm watching this to see Savannah in other POV. I never did take the opportunity to ride on the Georgia or the River Queen. It looks neat inside and fun to ride along

Hi Kendall! Yes, they do serve cocktails onboard. They were a bit pricy but most were served in a souvenir cup to take home. We did see folks roaming the vessel with drinks.
