I stayed at the Inn during a conference back in 2018 and let me tell you - what I experienced still have me baffled to this day. The incident happened on the 3rd night of a 4 night stay. I was staying on the 3rd floor in the new wing which was only accessible via an elevator along a winding hallway just past the front reception desk. It was about 9:00pm or so on that particular evening when I came back from dinner and a conference reception. As I walked down the corridor towards to catch the elevator, I notice a door of the hallway dresser wide open. I said to myself "Hmm, someone is going to to bang into this" so I shut the door and carried on. After I got the end of the hallway, I made a right turn and noticed "both doors" of a grandfather clock they had in the corner - were wide open! This freaked me out and I rushed to the elevator. It didn't take long for the elevator to arrive but after I got in and pressed the 3rd floor button, the elevator shook violently 3 times. Bang! Bang! Bang! The force was so powerful it almost knocked me off my feet. In my entire life, I felt elevator shake a bit here and there but nothing to this extent. Needless to say, after I reached my floor, I rushed into my room and grabbed a drink!
Love all the info on the hotel. Savannah is very creepy but the food makes up for it...haha... after the creepy night ya'll are ready for Halloween horror nights...love the vlog!!!.. cant wait for more road trip vlogs
Yes, Jeannie!! HHN has nothing on this. We found out that ghost adventures filmed the factors walk alley way right in front of the hotel.. That first night was as so creepy. We have some Savannah tour vlogs coming out next.
Well I had goosebumps the whole time y’all were talking bout the spooky stuff there hahaha. I agree with you though the only friendly ghost I know of is Casper 😆
The Blue Moon Brewery is haunted also. I got a voice recording on my phone while in the basement. I asked if anyone there dislikes the first-floor restaurant, and it said yes!
What an interesting and historical hotel! The attention to detail and information you both gave phenomenal! We heard the excitement of what it offered and the surrounding area was beautiful! We have to say though when we heard about your visiting ghost friends, we’d be sleeping with one eye open!! Lol We would stay there but not on the 5th floor haha!! Loved this video and all the info. Look forward to your next one. Stay safe!!
We went to Savannah a couple years ago and stayed at the River Street in for 3 nights. We loved visiting the city, hearing the history, and all the food! But the stay at River Street Inn was something else. We appreciated the location and the history of the building, but had no idea that is was a haunted location. We checked in to Room 530, not knowing that the 5th Floor was the most haunted floor. The room was beautiful, but there was enough "activity" to definitely keep you on edge. I even thought I saw a woman in white pass behind me as I was looking in the bathroom mirror. I also read somewhere that the most haunted room at the River Street Inn is Room 528 (so we were right next door), but the front desk can't mention that outright. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation to Savannah and would definitely return. Maybe not to River Street Inn, though... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
We stayed in Room 533 last night and it was great! Nothing weird…..yes I did sleep with the light on because I watched your video before I stayed there 😂
Did you do a ghost tour while you were there?! I love hearing about stuff like that but I'm a big wimp so I wouldn't stay at that hotel 😂😂 Love the history lessons!!!
Absolutely not with the ghost. Great video but I am going to pass on the ghost. Those taps when you are talking about the man. Nah I would walk out. You guys are brave.
