The fact that only frankenstrike is the only non accidentally use of them (not counting ghostfreak) in there only appearance is crazy. Especially when there shown to be powerful aliens

Blitzwolfer, Snare-Oh and Frankenstrike were all only used once each in the OS. Considering how often sonic, elastic and especially electric aliens were used in the future, you'd think Ben would try to get more use out of them. Definitely missed potential.
Always thought it was weird growing up that Benwolf/mummy/vicktor were the actual names of the aliens, always just seemed like a placeholder for another one but they really didn’t give them ones until Omniverse? Wild.
Benwolf immediately became one of my favorites. The design was sick, and the line "welcome to the team" makes me so angry that he proceeds to never be used again.
Blitzwolfer was my first ever Ben 10 action figure at age 5, which prompted me to start watching the series. For this reason, he will always have a very special place in my heart
The fact that all three Halloween Aliens original names where just Ben Wolf, Ben mummy, and Ben Victor....it kind of feel like they knew they were one and done from conception.
His lack of usage seems to be a combination of two factors. The first that the anur trio were entierly created for bandai to sell merch rather than for the show itself. And the second is that s4 was not planned/intended, it was done to fill for time while alien force was being made, so without the merch mandate for it they just didnt use the anur trio there at all. The power overlap for benwolf/widlmutt and sanreoh/wildvine also didnt help i assume.
To be fair. I feel like benwolf would be stronger than wildmutt. Since both have a weakness to sound (apparently even tho I feel like benwolf should've been immune since he literally has echoing howl power) But wildmutt is severely weak to it. Both have the same amount of senses (minus wildmutts sight) and strength so I definitely feel like blitzwolfer is stronger. Also I feel like blitzwolf would've been a way netter name 🤣
Blitzwolfer has always been one of my favorite aliens, it was such a wild thing watching his episode as a kid, and seeing Ben slowly change into the wolf.
It's a shame that Blitzwolfer wasn't used as effectively as he should have been, especially in OV when the series brought back so many classic aliens and gave them justice. Snare Oh and Frankenstrike had more iconic moments in OV, leaving Blitzwolfer with nothing.
Blitzwolfer should have basically made wildmutt obsolete in Classic,he can already talk while seeing, which puts him in a league of his own with aliens like rath. Can use his sonic howl as a long range attack and use it to jump for high ground.

If anyone is wondering, a Loboan does appear in the Ben 10 reboot movie “Ben 10 vs the Universe” during the null void scene. But sadly Ben never transforms into him. So even the reboot couldn’t add him in as a transformation

Honestly one of the best ways to explain the echo echo bullhorn. Echo echo can translate the vibration that he gets as a sound pitch so hitting the guardian with effectively two instances of the blitzwolfer howl would be pretty dang strong

I'm an aspiring writer & a character I've been workshopping is a werewolf superhero. Basically, the idea is that instead of putting on a costume, he just uses his werewolf form. Funnily enough, 1 of his powers will be a sonic howl. I wasn't even thinking of Blitzwolfer when I decided on that.
@@craigpeoples9883 My werewolf is a hero in order to reflect the importance of real wolves (& other predators by extension) in maintaining a healthy ecosystem. I'm currently brainstorming ways to tie his origin story into how wolves were nearly driven to extinction by people in the past.
I think one thing that made the Halloween aliens be underused, was also that upon the end of the og series, alien force had to be something new, so theres space only for a few aliens and that's it, ominverse tried but couldn't.

Out of the classic series Blitzwolfer is one of my top three favorite aliens, he and Upchuck change spots for second favorite. Upgrade is my fav, which I'm not too sure why. But Blitzy boi made me love werewolves in general, so.

I think the moment the solidfies blitzwolfer and all other Halloween aliens being an after thought of the show crew is their entire planet origins being redone in a single episode, which even though I thought it was an awesome episode, it made me sad because it kinda shows they knew they used those 3 so little they could made this change without a lot of people pointing it out besides those few fans of the og versions and no major backlash. I hope the up coming comics give all aliens their moment to shine at some point
One thing I will say about classic series, is that they knocked Wildvine out of the park. Wildvine was a menace in classic series, sick ass design, really cool voice actor/modulator to make the voice sound alien, and really cool abilities. Omniverse did not do Wildvine justice however, the design for him is bad, and I feel his appearance just doesn’t hold out as well in omniverse sadly
One instance where Blitzwolfer could've been used again in Classic was in the Season 4 episode, "Ready to Rumble". While I liked seeing Four Arms wrestle, I think Blitzwolfer could've been used instead. Plus, the name change would've worked there too (like you said, to hide Ben's secret identity).
(pre watch thoughts) He was my second favorite alien in classic and the ENTIRE series (Wildmutt was first but overall got replaced with Rath). My theory is after Kai broke his heart he refused to use this alien because it reminded him of her. And because it was linked to the scan function he didn't want to use the other Halloween aliens that he'd scanned as well. He only started using the scanned aliens that he thought died to honor them. Nanomech being an exception because it reminded him of Elena instead of Kai. The theory has holes in it like Kickinhawk maybe a few others but I think it makes sense. Blitzwolfer was clearly linked to Kai specifically. When he went to their planet je clearly liked those aliens, so I'm pretty sure it's because of Kai. The Omnitrix does seem to also have some link to Ben's emotion such as unlocking Feedback with forgiveness so I'd probably say that's why Blitzwolfer didn't unlock until he saw Kai again. (Post watch thoughts) I agree you should have been more episodes and you made it extremely good point with the rock and roll storm werewolf thing...
fun fact on blitzwolfer from showdown, his animations a bit resembling that of a Jon Talbain's animations from Darkstalkers series. just saying, it was actually a nice "reference" to look at, like actually representing a wolf-like creature in a fighting game
I know everyone is saying this opinion but I feel like the whole Halloween trio was so underused, but there's one I still wish was used more. Ben-Victor / Frankenstrike was one those Aliens I thought Ben would treat like Fourarms or humungousaur in the later series, because of how useful he is. He's got some form of super-strength, enhanced intelligence, minor technopathy (Never used by him but by Victor) and Lightning/energy control. That's at least half of the original 10s abilities, so I feel like Ben in the show would gravitate towards him a bit more.
The monster aliens (Amazing by the way love them), were really to flesh out ghostfreaks arc mostly, Blitzwolfer "writers intent" served his purpose story wise by Ben collecting DNA. Why they didn't reappear much is what was mentioned in the video Blitzwolfer took too much from Wildmutt and Ben being him for the whole episode made ben felt he didn't need to become Blitzwolfer again and it reminded him of Kai so thats why he didn't bother turning into him, Wildvine was already just added so Snare-oh just had to appear twice really adult Ben using him to get Kenny out of the air vent was last minute hence his its the same animation stock as the original mummy(look at his colors), and Frankenstrike a triple power house(brains/brawn/electricity) would overshadow favorites like Fourarms, and that each generation of writers for diferent eras of the show would draw back on his power its even hinted that Transylians are Galvan and Cerebrocrustacean elite level but Derrick reclaimed that no their not that smart just to make his monster villagers ordinary backdrop characters. Yet in the Protector or Earth Game its show for Transylians to teleport, and adult ben used Frankenstrike in classic to make an omnitrix for Kenny. The other whole point of their creation besides Ghostfreaks return was the monsters theme, that Ben 10 somewhat hinted to (Greymatter=Grey aliens/Ripjaws=Gillman/XLR8=Xenomorph) whilsts others were superhero themed like Heatblast(Ironman/Torch), and Fourarms(Hulk). Granted they had ideas in mind for a zombie alien(Braindrain), and Gillman(L'Goon) but the method to find a PG-13 power for a zombie was hard enough, and another Gillman alien when Ripjaws was getting less screen time anyway by this point and Ditto was his secondary swimmer. So more monster themed aliens wasn't their intentions at that point and what other newbies past that point were to see how well they sell as toys, and the writers giving some hints to other fictional media. Like Upchuck=Lets make an eater so we can have a projectile toy, a frog/tardigrate mix. Ditto=We need more slapstick comedy so lets make an homage to warnerbros(ben 10s owners) and make a Looney toon/Animaniac alien, we'll even get Rob Paulson(Yakko/Rev Runner) to voice him. Eyeguy=Lets make a contest to get kids hyped/market for the secret of the omnitrix movie by letting them make their own alien granted Eyeguy is already designed and is the surprise. Waybig=Ultraman the original monster catcher/fighter, without him Pokemon wouldn't even been a thing, and Ben 10 eventually dethroned Pokemon in the late 2000s toy wise. Eon=A forbidden power alien(Time consider OP in fiction). Articquana=Upchucks extra design sketches look so good plus we got plenty of Wildmutts molding to make money so lets show adult ben with new aliens and a power he hasn't used yet Ice. And base it off Marine Iguanas. Buzzshock=We got the animation specs, lets make a call back to their episode by showing ben turn into a Megawatt. Spittor=Pufferfish are cool, and boys love to spit so if he does good will make a water balloon toy out of this guy. As for Toepick, Snakepit, Sandbox, Shellhead, Atomix we'll just make up some random names and let the fans do the work for us.
I don't need to watch the video to know the answer and the answer is yes maybe it's me being biased and finding him really cool and like his omniverse design and voice
Honestly yes, Blitzwolfer was Ben’s first alien that didn’t completely fill in a niche role. He actually has more in common with the UAF aliens than the OS aliens.
I think Benwolf is cooler that Wildmutt because his design is more unique. Also, I find it cute and disappointing that Kai in Omniverse has Ben’s number in her phone and his picture is Blitzwolfer. Setting aside how she got that picture, it feels like the writers are blueballing us. “We won’t show x character that much but here’s some rare screen time.” A good utilization of Benwolf would be to make him “rebel” against Ben similar to Ghostfreak. Not be a separate character trying to split from the omnitrix, but rather his abilities occasionally become a problem for Ben. Like Blitzwolfer’s instinct to hunt would make him dangerous. Even the transformation would show how difficult being Benwolf can be, his bones growing and body becoming more canine (like American Werewolf in London). Blitzwolfer (and other one offs) would potentially be a more popular character if they built on what they set up.
Omniverse voice is so much better than just Ben’s voice with a crappy voice changer lol, though my ideal would be Omniverse voice with classic voice effect
Omniverse version honestly lost a bit of a charm from the original design, aside from the mouth. Original had this slightly disturbing anatomy with how streamlined it looked, rather than musclehead. Especially the dreadlocks like mane and ears. And I don't know why, but he feels like he would be great as a "fighter" like alien in Ben's roster, rather than discount mix between Four Arms or Echo Echo. He have a powerful howl but... That's his only "alien" power. He looks vicious and feral. It's perfect for a mix between fast and powerful. Original just feels like there's little fur on him and muscles are constantly tense. Like he's always ready to pounce and shred something to pieces. And to be honest. Imagine if original design was something like a unknown mutation which omnitrix absorb and develop into it's full potential later in the series...
I feel like all the Halloween aliens got seen as gimmicks and tossed aside, they each had unique powers though, plus the ink tank review of the Ben wolf episode came out on my birthday, so sentimental value is there :)
what really grinds my gears is the fact that we didnt even get more blitzwolfer in the galactic monsters arc you know the arc where ben goes into his native solar system? and yeah while i do hate how ben got his new name..i still prefer it over benwolf it just sounds so....lazy like ben didnt even try i also prefer his body porportions in omniverse to be specific i think his legs blend a lot more into his torso there than in classic
Honestly, both Tara Strong and Kevin Michael Richardson were charming in their own way on each of their portrayals of Benwolf/Blitzwolfer, and I'm not just saying that because their some of my favorite voice actors. They clearly used a voice modifier for Tara Strong in the OG Ben 10 while Kevin's was all natural in Omniverse.
Blitzwolfer as a name would be cool if it didn’t just come from Wolf Blitzer, an actual guy who exists in the show, I guess. His name is basically the only thing that connects him to the name change, and nothing else. I’m basically holding him up to Pokémon standards of naming, but he could’ve at least had some other way to change up the name. Maybe like Wolfmane (Wolf + mane (his OV design has some kind of mane) + “wolf-man”)…okay, it’s not the best name idea, but at least there’s some thought to it.
Glitch deserves a video and more attention. Glitch has a gimmick that is connected to the omnitrix without that, but that doesn't take away from the unique identity of the aliens. Plus, it doesn't really affect Ben. A video on Glitch Tennyson from the reboot at his full potential ( Glitch isn't stuck as the rustbuggy or armor and can use his DNA assimilating abilities while upgrading any tech) would be neat. because Glitch deserves more attention and is kinda underrated (he has a fun personality, especially with him being polite and smart but still having some ten year old childishness and slight brattiness. He isn't a copy of os ben and reboot ben, but he isn't the exact opposite of them either. He's just Glitch Tennyson. Plus, he is among the few reboot characters to have character development and growth. Glitch is involved in some of the main story arcs. Glitch's interactions with other characters like ben and kevin were fun, its ashame Glitch wasn't used much as he was one of the few good characters the reboot has. Especially considering it feels like Innervasion sets him up as a main character. His original form has some similarities to original series Ben's design, especially in the face and head, just with the reboots bigger heads, not a fan of the heads being bigger, though. Plus, his original form mixes human and galvanic mechomorph design elements, which is neat and makes science because he is half human and half galvanic mechomorph. And Glitch pulls off purple, black, and green very well. People forget there are gray and blue galvanic mechomorphs in the original series. It would be neat to see him use his ability to assimilate omnitrix DNA and fuse it with tech more especially with Ben 10k's aliens, like he could make a spitter hoverboard, which would be cool, and we do know why he has that ability as we can see omni-energy when Glitch transforms and we know omni-cores make omni-energy Plus upgrade upgrading the omnitrix is why is Glitch exists so it's obvious he would have an ability that relates to omnitrixes. Hitch sucks though. He has none of Glitch's character development, barely any personality at all, and nothing unique, Glitch Tennyson is a good character with cool powers and a fun personality, plus him having some character ark and growth). "His powers have no explanation," First, we know that Upgrade upgrading the omnitrix (it is why he exists not to mention the cause of season 2's plot). Second, we can see omni-energy when Glitch transforms. The only thing that we know that makes omni-energy is an omni-core, making it obvious that upgrade upgrading the omnitrix had resulted in Glitch having an omni-core. So yes, it does have an explanation. "The ability isn't even used much" this is very false. Glitch's appearances are Innervasion Part 3: Strange Bedfellows, Innervasion Part 4: Mind Over Alien Matter, Innervasion Part 5: High Override, LaGrange Muraille, Franken-Fight, Buggy Out, Mutiny for the Bounty, Wheels of Fortune, Vin Diagram, Chicken In Chichen Itza, Part 2: The Wages of Fear, Xingo's World, Players of the Lost Park, and Ben 10 Versus the Universe: The Movie. The only episodes that Glitch doesn't use the assimilating abilities are Innervasion, Mutiny for the Bounty, Xingo's World (I think. I haven't rewatched that episode), and the movie. That's four out of eleven. Also, personally, I'm glad Glitch has that ability as it prevents him from just being a copy of ship power wise (I still adore ship, of course). It does suck Glitch only got to use that ability in his rustbuggy form, especially since the writers kept reusing the same aliens, only one of which was really useful for that form. It would have been awesome if we got something like a Diamondhead omni-copter. Plus, it would be cool for him to assimilate DNA in his armor form. Especially since his armor form could harm and handle the attacks of an amped version of vilgax on its own. For the record base, vilgax can with a step incredibly easy and can tank attacks that are at least equal to his own power, and Glitch fought an upgraded version of that. Plus, we know Glitch can use the powers of the aliens he assimilates the DNA of. Also, I like all of Glitch's designs, but I really wish he got to keep his original form instead of being stuck as a go-cart or armor. He isn't just another version of Ben. He is his own person. Glitch Tennyson. Plus, Glitch is a part of some important story arcs and fights (yes, the reboot does have plot and fights at least omnitricked onwards). I'm probably going to get called out for how long this is. Sorry. Also, his original form in innervation is capable of fighting to. Plus, reboot Vilgax was able to survive in magma, which has enough pressure to make os four arm's punches look well still incredibly strong, but the problem wouldn't be able to hurt him. Also, gax was able to crack a whole mountain with just a step from a decent distance, by the way (the mountain Also look slightly bigger than the face os vilgax cracked but that could just be the angle). Glitch survives hits and harms an extremely amped version of reboot vilgax without assimilating the DNA of any transformation. Glitch is neat despite the writers screwing him over. Glitch is an interest with cool powers, a fun personality, got some character development In innervation, season 3, season 4, and the movie (and character growth alongside kevin), and he just has so much potential. Although Hitch, Glitch's future counterpart ignores Glitch's character development and growth. To be honest, Hitch feels more like a robot than Glitch. Plus, it annoys me that the writers seem to forget Glitch is part human. Plus, Glitch using ben Mummy, benwolf, ghostfreak, or frankenstrike, along with his armor form, would be awesome. Oh, and a friendly reminder that os Ben's aliens are weaker than alien force/ultimate alien Ben's transformations according to teen Ben in the forge of creation. So, the original series, Ben, shouldn't be overpowered. Not to mention, even with master control, their are still aliens he wouldn't have access to. Besides, they would probably make a fun duo. Plus, Glitch has good regeneration, so attacking vitals might be harder than you would think. He may be half human, but he is also half alien. Sorry, this is off-topic. And original series Ben's habit for going for the kill might not be that big of an issue scince while Glitch prefers to talk down or capture enemies he doesn't seem to have an issue with killing if he absolutely has too but he only does so if has to like with the fulmini. original series Ben 10 is amazing, and Glitch just deserves more attention in general. Plus, Glitch does have some fighting skills based on how he fights. Also, some underestimated Glitch's assimilating abilities just because he couldn't melt Vin's car, but neither can reboot heatblast despite having melt things with higher melting temperatures. Plus, diamondheads durability, strength, and crystal projectiles combined with the strength, speed, durability, and flight of Glitch's armored form would be terrifying. Then again, antivilgax was able to get Glitch exhausted. Plus, I like his design in Innervasion. Sorry if I'm being annoying, I just think Glitch is an adorable underrated Ben 10 character. Oh, plus he is a human and galvanic mechomorph hybrid, which is neat. I think the purple eyed kid is neat. Hitch sucks personality wise, though. He has none of Glitch's character development or even his personality, Hitch feels like a robot, not Glitch. Glitch is one of those characters that deserves more attention than their show. In other words, I think Glitch deserves more attention than the reboot. Plus he has some cool fights (especially in the Innervasion and the movie) and some neat characteration in innervation, season 4 and 5, and the movie. Glitch is a bit underrated and under utilized. Os Ben, Reboot Ben, and Glitch have the similar face and the same head shape, but the reboot characters have bigger head which I'm not a fan of unfortunately.
I doubt if anyone else felt this way, but it probably didn't help that Blitzwolfer was so closely associated with Kai(a character who people still don't like to this very day), and the form itself was there to prop up the relationship, and he didn't have any episodes outside that to my knowledge. Edit: Blitzwolfer is an unlockable character in that Bandai Namco deluxe Omnitrix toy, with a time attack mini-game, one I still own, but no longer have the strap for.
Before I watched Ben ten I thought Ben wolf was so slick and cool, he was surely one of bens favourite bruisers, like diamond head and four arms. I found him extremely slick. But he is barely in the franchise. Glad I am not the only one who thought he had the design of an a lister.

I find it most odd that it took over 6 years for Ben to name his Halloween aliens, he didn’t care enough to give “Benwolf” an official name, just did it out of spite to Kai. Because of that, the series initially name the other 2 “Benmummy” & and “Benvictor” which is just lazy, as if he never used them even offscreen. Even Nanomech was nearly named “Benchip” because he was another scanned alien.
@ very true point, I always feel the Halloween group did way more due to they’re connection to ghost freak. One of them even infiltrated NASA! But they all just only exist for the couple episodes and disappear. Would have loved to see more Frankenstrike
1:42 I would make a correction; Blitzwolfer, if I'm correct, doesn't have a good vision. Canines generally has a not too bad vision, but it's lesser than humans'. I belive it's cannon that his sight isn't so good.... I think the scene you showed showcased his general sensation of the surondings, maybe thermal vision or something😉

Benwolf was one of my favorite aliens growing up, and I was so disappointed they never used him. Personally didn't like the new name, it just felt a bit awkward. A think something as simple as switching it to "Blitzerwolf" would sound better, but I'd probably have gone with something like "howlitzer"
My favorite alien was upgrade. I really think Ben didn’t use him in the best way, especially sitting. How make up mort will be incredible powerful in anyone else hands.

Honestly benwolf was my favorite alien and i dont know why he changed the name since i always thought it was a play on beowulf. I truly loved this alien and i wish he was used more because his strength seemed to rival his other heavy hitters. Especially in my mind i think he could beat wildmutt. Since they both have amazing senses yet benwolf has good strength, the sonic blasts and night vision. Plus wildmutt is weak to sonic attacks. And honesty out of the dog like aliens. Benwolf is my favorite over the classic wildmutt..

Always thought it was weird growing up that Benwolf/mummy/vicktor were the actual names of the aliens, always just seemed like a placeholder for another one but they really didn’t give them ones until Omniverse? Wild.
Benwolf immediately became one of my favorites. The design was sick, and the line "welcome to the team" makes me so angry that he proceeds to never be used again.

The first time Blitzwolfer fully show up, he immediately became my favourite design
Blitzwolfer was my first ever Ben 10 action figure at age 5, which prompted me to start watching the series. For this reason, he will always have a very special place in my heart

The fact that all three Halloween Aliens original names where just Ben Wolf, Ben mummy, and Ben Victor....it kind of feel like they knew they were one and done from conception.
His lack of usage seems to be a combination of two factors. The first that the anur trio were entierly created for bandai to sell merch rather than for the show itself. And the second is that s4 was not planned/intended, it was done to fill for time while alien force was being made, so without the merch mandate for it they just didnt use the anur trio there at all.
The power overlap for benwolf/widlmutt and sanreoh/wildvine also didnt help i assume.

But wildmutt is severely weak to it. Both have the same amount of senses (minus wildmutts sight) and strength so I definitely feel like blitzwolfer is stronger. Also I feel like blitzwolf would've been a way netter name 🤣

Blitzwolfer has always been one of my favorite aliens, it was such a wild thing watching his episode as a kid, and seeing Ben slowly change into the wolf.
It's a shame that Blitzwolfer wasn't used as effectively as he should have been, especially in OV when the series brought back so many classic aliens and gave them justice. Snare Oh and Frankenstrike had more iconic moments in OV, leaving Blitzwolfer with nothing.

Blitzwolfer should have basically made wildmutt obsolete in Classic,he can already talk while seeing, which puts him in a league of his own with aliens like rath. Can use his sonic howl as a long range attack and use it to jump for high ground.

I'm an aspiring writer & a character I've been workshopping is a werewolf superhero. Basically, the idea is that instead of putting on a costume, he just uses his werewolf form. Funnily enough, 1 of his powers will be a sonic howl. I wasn't even thinking of Blitzwolfer when I decided on that.

I think one thing that made the Halloween aliens be underused, was also that upon the end of the og series, alien force had to be something new, so theres space only for a few aliens and that's it, ominverse tried but couldn't.

I think the moment the solidfies blitzwolfer and all other Halloween aliens being an after thought of the show crew is their entire planet origins being redone in a single episode, which even though I thought it was an awesome episode, it made me sad because it kinda shows they knew they used those 3 so little they could made this change without a lot of people pointing it out besides those few fans of the og versions and no major backlash. I hope the up coming comics give all aliens their moment to shine at some point

One thing I will say about classic series, is that they knocked Wildvine out of the park. Wildvine was a menace in classic series, sick ass design, really cool voice actor/modulator to make the voice sound alien, and really cool abilities. Omniverse did not do Wildvine justice however, the design for him is bad, and I feel his appearance just doesn’t hold out as well in omniverse sadly
Classic wildvine is peak. He really does feel perfect for the franchise.

One instance where Blitzwolfer could've been used again in Classic was in the Season 4 episode, "Ready to Rumble". While I liked seeing Four Arms wrestle, I think Blitzwolfer could've been used instead. Plus, the name change would've worked there too (like you said, to hide Ben's secret identity).
(pre watch thoughts) He was my second favorite alien in classic and the ENTIRE series (Wildmutt was first but overall got replaced with Rath).
My theory is after Kai broke his heart he refused to use this alien because it reminded him of her. And because it was linked to the scan function he didn't want to use the other Halloween aliens that he'd scanned as well. He only started using the scanned aliens that he thought died to honor them. Nanomech being an exception because it reminded him of Elena instead of Kai. The theory has holes in it like Kickinhawk maybe a few others but I think it makes sense. Blitzwolfer was clearly linked to Kai specifically. When he went to their planet je clearly liked those aliens, so I'm pretty sure it's because of Kai. The Omnitrix does seem to also have some link to Ben's emotion such as unlocking Feedback with forgiveness so I'd probably say that's why Blitzwolfer didn't unlock until he saw Kai again.

I know everyone is saying this opinion but I feel like the whole Halloween trio was so underused, but there's one I still wish was used more. Ben-Victor / Frankenstrike was one those Aliens I thought Ben would treat like Fourarms or humungousaur in the later series, because of how useful he is. He's got some form of super-strength, enhanced intelligence, minor technopathy (Never used by him but by Victor) and Lightning/energy control. That's at least half of the original 10s abilities, so I feel like Ben in the show would gravitate towards him a bit more.

The monster aliens (Amazing by the way love them), were really to flesh out ghostfreaks arc mostly, Blitzwolfer "writers intent" served his purpose story wise by Ben collecting DNA. Why they didn't reappear much is what was mentioned in the video Blitzwolfer took too much from Wildmutt and Ben being him for the whole episode made ben felt he didn't need to become Blitzwolfer again and it reminded him of Kai so thats why he didn't bother turning into him, Wildvine was already just added so Snare-oh just had to appear twice really adult Ben using him to get Kenny out of the air vent was last minute hence his its the same animation stock as the original mummy(look at his colors), and Frankenstrike a triple power house(brains/brawn/electricity) would overshadow favorites like Fourarms, and that each generation of writers for diferent eras of the show would draw back on his power its even hinted that Transylians are Galvan and Cerebrocrustacean elite level but Derrick reclaimed that no their not that smart just to make his monster villagers ordinary backdrop characters. Yet in the Protector or Earth Game its show for Transylians to teleport, and adult ben used Frankenstrike in classic to make an omnitrix for Kenny.
The other whole point of their creation besides Ghostfreaks return was the monsters theme, that Ben 10 somewhat hinted to (Greymatter=Grey aliens/Ripjaws=Gillman/XLR8=Xenomorph) whilsts others were superhero themed like Heatblast(Ironman/Torch), and Fourarms(Hulk).
Granted they had ideas in mind for a zombie alien(Braindrain), and Gillman(L'Goon) but the method to find a PG-13 power for a zombie was hard enough, and another Gillman alien when Ripjaws was getting less screen time anyway by this point and Ditto was his secondary swimmer. So more monster themed aliens wasn't their intentions at that point and what other newbies past that point were to see how well they sell as toys, and the writers giving some hints to other fictional media. Like
Upchuck=Lets make an eater so we can have a projectile toy, a frog/tardigrate mix.
Ditto=We need more slapstick comedy so lets make an homage to warnerbros(ben 10s owners) and make a Looney toon/Animaniac alien, we'll even get Rob Paulson(Yakko/Rev Runner) to voice him.
Eyeguy=Lets make a contest to get kids hyped/market for the secret of the omnitrix movie by letting them make their own alien granted Eyeguy is already designed and is the surprise.
Waybig=Ultraman the original monster catcher/fighter, without him Pokemon wouldn't even been a thing, and Ben 10 eventually dethroned Pokemon in the late 2000s toy wise.
Eon=A forbidden power alien(Time consider OP in fiction).
Articquana=Upchucks extra design sketches look so good plus we got plenty of Wildmutts molding to make money so lets show adult ben with new aliens and a power he hasn't used yet Ice. And base it off Marine Iguanas.
Buzzshock=We got the animation specs, lets make a call back to their episode by showing ben turn into a Megawatt.
Spittor=Pufferfish are cool, and boys love to spit so if he does good will make a water balloon toy out of this guy.
As for Toepick, Snakepit, Sandbox, Shellhead, Atomix we'll just make up some random names and let the fans do the work for us.

Honestly yes, Blitzwolfer was Ben’s first alien that didn’t completely fill in a niche role. He actually has more in common with the UAF aliens than the OS aliens.
I think Benwolf is cooler that Wildmutt because his design is more unique.
Also, I find it cute and disappointing that Kai in Omniverse has Ben’s number in her phone and his picture is Blitzwolfer. Setting aside how she got that picture, it feels like the writers are blueballing us. “We won’t show x character that much but here’s some rare screen time.”
A good utilization of Benwolf would be to make him “rebel” against Ben similar to Ghostfreak. Not be a separate character trying to split from the omnitrix, but rather his abilities occasionally become a problem for Ben.
Like Blitzwolfer’s instinct to hunt would make him dangerous. Even the transformation would show how difficult being Benwolf can be, his bones growing and body becoming more canine (like American Werewolf in London).
Blitzwolfer (and other one offs) would potentially be a more popular character if they built on what they set up.

Omniverse version honestly lost a bit of a charm from the original design, aside from the mouth.
Original had this slightly disturbing anatomy with how streamlined it looked, rather than musclehead. Especially the dreadlocks like mane and ears.
And I don't know why, but he feels like he would be great as a "fighter" like alien in Ben's roster, rather than discount mix between Four Arms or Echo Echo. He have a powerful howl but... That's his only "alien" power. He looks vicious and feral. It's perfect for a mix between fast and powerful. Original just feels like there's little fur on him and muscles are constantly tense. Like he's always ready to pounce and shred something to pieces.
And to be honest. Imagine if original design was something like a unknown mutation which omnitrix absorb and develop into it's full potential later in the series...

All my childhood I called Blitzwolfer SonicWolf cause of it's shout. Literally convinced myself it was real.
Honestly, both Tara Strong and Kevin Michael Richardson were charming in their own way on each of their portrayals of Benwolf/Blitzwolfer, and I'm not just saying that because their some of my favorite voice actors. They clearly used a voice modifier for Tara Strong in the OG Ben 10 while Kevin's was all natural in Omniverse.
Blitzwolfer as a name would be cool if it didn’t just come from Wolf Blitzer, an actual guy who exists in the show, I guess. His name is basically the only thing that connects him to the name change, and nothing else. I’m basically holding him up to Pokémon standards of naming, but he could’ve at least had some other way to change up the name.
Maybe like Wolfmane (Wolf + mane (his OV design has some kind of mane) + “wolf-man”)…okay, it’s not the best name idea, but at least there’s some thought to it.

Glitch deserves a video and more attention. Glitch has a gimmick that is connected to the omnitrix without that, but that doesn't take away from the unique identity of the aliens. Plus, it doesn't really affect Ben. A video on Glitch Tennyson from the reboot at his full potential ( Glitch isn't stuck as the rustbuggy or armor and can use his DNA assimilating abilities while upgrading any tech) would be neat. because Glitch deserves more attention and is kinda underrated (he has a fun personality, especially with him being polite and smart but still having some ten year old childishness and slight brattiness. He isn't a copy of os ben and reboot ben, but he isn't the exact opposite of them either. He's just Glitch Tennyson. Plus, he is among the few reboot characters to have character development and growth. Glitch is involved in some of the main story arcs. Glitch's interactions with other characters like ben and kevin were fun, its ashame Glitch wasn't used much as he was one of the few good characters the reboot has. Especially considering it feels like Innervasion sets him up as a main character. His original form has some similarities to original series Ben's design, especially in the face and head, just with the reboots bigger heads, not a fan of the heads being bigger, though. Plus, his original form mixes human and galvanic mechomorph design elements, which is neat and makes science because he is half human and half galvanic mechomorph. And Glitch pulls off purple, black, and green very well. People forget there are gray and blue galvanic mechomorphs in the original series. It would be neat to see him use his ability to assimilate omnitrix DNA and fuse it with tech more especially with Ben 10k's aliens, like he could make a spitter hoverboard, which would be cool, and we do know why he has that ability as we can see omni-energy when Glitch transforms and we know omni-cores make omni-energy Plus upgrade upgrading the omnitrix is why is Glitch exists so it's obvious he would have an ability that relates to omnitrixes. Hitch sucks though. He has none of Glitch's character development, barely any personality at all, and nothing unique, Glitch Tennyson is a good character with cool powers and a fun personality, plus him having some character ark and growth). "His powers have no explanation," First, we know that Upgrade upgrading the omnitrix (it is why he exists not to mention the cause of season 2's plot). Second, we can see omni-energy when Glitch transforms. The only thing that we know that makes omni-energy is an omni-core, making it obvious that upgrade upgrading the omnitrix had resulted in Glitch having an omni-core. So yes, it does have an explanation. "The ability isn't even used much" this is very false. Glitch's appearances are Innervasion Part 3: Strange Bedfellows, Innervasion Part 4: Mind Over Alien Matter, Innervasion Part 5: High Override, LaGrange Muraille, Franken-Fight, Buggy Out, Mutiny for the Bounty, Wheels of Fortune, Vin Diagram, Chicken In Chichen Itza, Part 2: The Wages of Fear, Xingo's World, Players of the Lost Park, and Ben 10 Versus the Universe: The Movie. The only episodes that Glitch doesn't use the assimilating abilities are Innervasion, Mutiny for the Bounty, Xingo's World (I think. I haven't rewatched that episode), and the movie. That's four out of eleven. Also, personally, I'm glad Glitch has that ability as it prevents him from just being a copy of ship power wise (I still adore ship, of course). It does suck Glitch only got to use that ability in his rustbuggy form, especially since the writers kept reusing the same aliens, only one of which was really useful for that form. It would have been awesome if we got something like a Diamondhead omni-copter. Plus, it would be cool for him to assimilate DNA in his armor form. Especially since his armor form could harm and handle the attacks of an amped version of vilgax on its own. For the record base, vilgax can with a step incredibly easy and can tank attacks that are at least equal to his own power, and Glitch fought an upgraded version of that. Plus, we know Glitch can use the powers of the aliens he assimilates the DNA of. Also, I like all of Glitch's designs, but I really wish he got to keep his original form instead of being stuck as a go-cart or armor. He isn't just another version of Ben. He is his own person. Glitch Tennyson. Plus, Glitch is a part of some important story arcs and fights (yes, the reboot does have plot and fights at least omnitricked onwards). I'm probably going to get called out for how long this is. Sorry. Also, his original form in innervation is capable of fighting to. Plus, reboot Vilgax was able to survive in magma, which has enough pressure to make os four arm's punches look well still incredibly strong, but the problem wouldn't be able to hurt him. Also, gax was able to crack a whole mountain with just a step from a decent distance, by the way (the mountain Also look slightly bigger than the face os vilgax cracked but that could just be the angle). Glitch survives hits and harms an extremely amped version of reboot vilgax without assimilating the DNA of any transformation. Glitch is neat despite the writers screwing him over. Glitch is an interest with cool powers, a fun personality, got some character development In innervation, season 3, season 4, and the movie (and character growth alongside kevin), and he just has so much potential. Although Hitch, Glitch's future counterpart ignores Glitch's character development and growth. To be honest, Hitch feels more like a robot than Glitch. Plus, it annoys me that the writers seem to forget Glitch is part human. Plus, Glitch using ben Mummy, benwolf, ghostfreak, or frankenstrike, along with his armor form, would be awesome. Oh, and a friendly reminder that os Ben's aliens are weaker than alien force/ultimate alien Ben's transformations according to teen Ben in the forge of creation. So, the original series, Ben, shouldn't be overpowered. Not to mention, even with master control, their are still aliens he wouldn't have access to. Besides, they would probably make a fun duo. Plus, Glitch has good regeneration, so attacking vitals might be harder than you would think. He may be half human, but he is also half alien. Sorry, this is off-topic. And original series Ben's habit for going for the kill might not be that big of an issue scince while Glitch prefers to talk down or capture enemies he doesn't seem to have an issue with killing if he absolutely has too but he only does so if has to like with the fulmini. original series Ben 10 is amazing, and Glitch just deserves more attention in general. Plus, Glitch does have some fighting skills based on how he fights. Also, some underestimated Glitch's assimilating abilities just because he couldn't melt Vin's car, but neither can reboot heatblast despite having melt things with higher melting temperatures. Plus, diamondheads durability, strength, and crystal projectiles combined with the strength, speed, durability, and flight of Glitch's armored form would be terrifying. Then again, antivilgax was able to get Glitch exhausted. Plus, I like his design in Innervasion. Sorry if I'm being annoying, I just think Glitch is an adorable underrated Ben 10 character. Oh, plus he is a human and galvanic mechomorph hybrid, which is neat. I think the purple eyed kid is neat. Hitch sucks personality wise, though. He has none of Glitch's character development or even his personality, Hitch feels like a robot, not Glitch. Glitch is one of those characters that deserves more attention than their show. In other words, I think Glitch deserves more attention than the reboot. Plus he has some cool fights (especially in the Innervasion and the movie) and some neat characteration in innervation, season 4 and 5, and the movie. Glitch is a bit underrated and under utilized. Os Ben, Reboot Ben, and Glitch have the similar face and the same head shape, but the reboot characters have bigger head which I'm not a fan of unfortunately.

I doubt if anyone else felt this way, but it probably didn't help that Blitzwolfer was so closely associated with Kai(a character who people still don't like to this very day), and the form itself was there to prop up the relationship, and he didn't have any episodes outside that to my knowledge.
Edit: Blitzwolfer is an unlockable character in that Bandai Namco deluxe Omnitrix toy, with a time attack mini-game, one I still own, but no longer have the strap for.

Before I watched Ben ten I thought Ben wolf was so slick and cool, he was surely one of bens favourite bruisers, like diamond head and four arms. I found him extremely slick. But he is barely in the franchise. Glad I am not the only one who thought he had the design of an a lister.

I find it most odd that it took over 6 years for Ben to name his Halloween aliens, he didn’t care enough to give “Benwolf” an official name, just did it out of spite to Kai. Because of that, the series initially name the other 2 “Benmummy” & and “Benvictor” which is just lazy, as if he never used them even offscreen. Even Nanomech was nearly named “Benchip” because he was another scanned alien.

@ very true point, I always feel the Halloween group did way more due to they’re connection to ghost freak. One of them even infiltrated NASA! But they all just only exist for the couple episodes and disappear. Would have loved to see more Frankenstrike
1:42 I would make a correction; Blitzwolfer, if I'm correct, doesn't have a good vision. Canines generally has a not too bad vision, but it's lesser than humans'. I belive it's cannon that his sight isn't so good.... I think the scene you showed showcased his general sensation of the surondings, maybe thermal vision or something😉

If they wanted to use him more he could have become him when in the anur system to blend in and not get harassed so much

Benwolf was one of my favorite aliens growing up, and I was so disappointed they never used him.
Personally didn't like the new name, it just felt a bit awkward. A think something as simple as switching it to "Blitzerwolf" would sound better, but I'd probably have gone with something like "howlitzer"
My favorite alien was upgrade. I really think Ben didn’t use him in the best way, especially sitting. How make up mort will be incredible powerful in anyone else hands.

Honestly benwolf was my favorite alien and i dont know why he changed the name since i always thought it was a play on beowulf.
I truly loved this alien and i wish he was used more because his strength seemed to rival his other heavy hitters. Especially in my mind i think he could beat wildmutt. Since they both have amazing senses yet benwolf has good strength, the sonic blasts and night vision. Plus wildmutt is weak to sonic attacks. And honesty out of the dog like aliens. Benwolf is my favorite over the classic wildmutt..
I dont think the echo echo bullhorn detracts from benwolf. In fact it is one of the most hype power combos.
