Singing drummers are a rarity, and Pau is one of the very best! The sky may not be the limit for The Warning, they are going to take over the Universe! Excellent Reaction!
Pau is somehow able to be an absolute technician on the drums while simultaneously laying down completely stable soul piercing vocals. She’s a freak of nature in the best possible way!
There’s nowhere to hide in a trio. All 3 are amazing musicians, and Dani has the perfect voice for rock. But, Pau is a generational talent. You said it well. Great drummer, great voice, and she still conveys perfect emotion with her facial expressions. Imagine what she’ll do in 10 years.
I don't know how Pau does this🤯. I know she practices singing while running on a treadmill but her sense of pitch and vocal control is super human. TW are one of a kind!.
Passion is one of the reasons we love TW so much. People are drawn to people who do things that way. It’s apparent that Pau has worked extremely hard to be able to perform at this level. It’s irresistible.
So glad you watched this! Pau's voice is really emotive. Revenant is another softer Pau song, no drums. After that, check out Amour, great bass by Ale, towering vocals by Dany, animated drumming by Pau. Actually, anything you pull from the Teatro Metropolitan show will be outstanding, and they're all different.
Pau led me to The Warning. She leans into her kick, not snare-centric, which I love. She holds her pocket. As a bass player, she’s the drummer that I wish I’d met fifty years ago. I love Ale’s bass in this song.
Why would we get mad. Pau is an incredible drummer and singer. Most fans agree with you about Pau. That is why she is a fan favorite. Some songs highlight Ale, some Dany and some Pau. That is why they are a great trio. Great reaction.
Beautiful song they are next level at this show. Pau is an incredible performer and a phenom on the drums her voice is so captivating. Dany's backing vocals while playing that slide was pretty cool. Thanks RC any song from this show try Z the opener.
Pau is charisma times 10. You can’t tell from this video, but there is no competition with them. Sometimes when Pau or Ale are taking center stage Dany is just beaming with encouragement, and when someone asked Ale who her favorite singers were, she said “my sisters” without a moment’s hesitation. (For that matter, when asked about female role models they all say “my mom.”) When Pau came out front to sing Narcissista Dany was smiling from ear to ear. I love watching them interact onstage, always selflessly. And yes, I’ve heard someone say Pau looks like she’s leaning into the wind. Thanks for the reaction. (I’ve also watched Sina’s videos for years too.)
Love your reaction and I completely agree! Leaning into the performance is such a good way to explain what Pau does. And the fact Dany and Ale back off during this performance really gives Pau a gorgeous moment to shine. Each of them do this during various songs, it's just so intelligent and thoughtful musically and in their performances. Thank you for your reaction and have a great holiday!
Thank you for your insightful reaction of “23” by The Warning. This is one of my favorite performances by Pau and I completely agree with what you said about her leaning into it. Very emotional and powerful song. 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
23 is one of my favorite warning songs these ladies are amazing, they are breathing fresh air into rock I believe they can and will move the rock pendulum like all the greats did before, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, black Sabbath, guns n roses, Nirvana, pink Floyd.. ext, not comparing to those bands just think they can and believe they will have the same effect on music especially rock music🤟
"MARTIRIO" is in Spanish, my favorite, and I don't speak Spanish at all. or REVENANT that's my favorite too.. Every song by them is my favorite... MARTIRIO makes my eyes cry. 🤟🎶☮️
Loved it RC....and yes Pau leans into everything she does...there is no holding this woman back, talent overload for sure. Love them all but Pau is cut from a different cloth than most people. Pau has more than one feature song amongst the group and they all share the spotlight...love amongst Sisters. DPA/TWA.
Great reaction. Hope your weekend was good. Yes, ‘Revenant’ (metropolitan) & since we’re on the Pau train, ‘Black Holes’ (Dakota bar) goes along with the same theme and her version of ‘Creep’ for extra leaning-in to a performance. But we can not forget about Dany, ‘Crimson Queen’ (Lunario) is just the single greatest performance in the history of the universe. And of course ‘CHOKE’ (live session) & ‘Martirio’ (official music video)
Ale (Alejandra) 🎸🎤+ Pau (Paulina) 🥁🎤+ Dany (Daniela) 🎤🎸 Villarreal. Three talented Mexican sisters. !!!🎵ole ole ole oleeee Warning Warning🎵¡¡¡. Greetings from Argentina.
I don't know much about bass but for me too Ale's tone is just perfect, and exactly what this band needs. There's even a hearth warming story about how she first started playing Spectors, but you'll get to that. I also don't want to spoil it for you, but The Warning recently played 2 still unreleased songs during their tour in Mexico (but don't watch them just yet, right now there are only fan videos but something better must be on the way). In one of those songs Ale does something I've never seen her do before that just shows how much she's mastered that instrument. And she is just 18! They blow my mind every time, and it is always nice seeing I'm not the only one!
Thank you! I tend to shy away from fancams anyway so no worries there. Please let me know if you see the songs released and I'll keep an eye out for the Spector story.
Would be hard convincing me NOT to, sir! If you wanna know it, the story is about Thomas Illgen, an early days fan who immediately recognized the potential of the band and being an Spector enjoyer himself, though their sound would suit The Warning. So he reached out and offered to lend Ale 2 of his own Spectors. Worth noting is another remarkable feature of the band, their catalog of vlogs, interviews and documentaries from several years back. In one of those Ale talks about the day she got the basses and how she ran to her amp to try them. Seems like they passed the test cause one of them at least, a sparkly purple one, I believe, was played at the Lunario concert, premiere of their Qotms album and one of my favorite concerts by any band (which sadly I missed by simple ignorance). Afterwards Thomas gifted Ale one of them basses, and nowadays she is a Spector artist, and the gorgeous red and black bass she'd been playing until recently was named after her, Ale's Inferno (with the band's logo on the neck, just a nice little touch that shows it's a brand that cares). I believe the cool kids of today dont care for long text walls, so I apologize to you. Long live Rock!! 💥💥💥
@@xki3000 True. Hard to fathom how far they'll go. I'm convinced they will grow into a cultural phenom similar to The Beatles, but instead of hysterical young ladies it will be a bunch of hysterical old school rockers, and their families and neighbors!
They just released publicly on their YT channel an acoustic set from earlier this year (May) that was a private show they did for Patreon members in London, UK. It was around 30 minutes and featured some of their older songs and a single guitar version of Revenant. What I love about it is how it shows their natural interactions with one another and how that even though it was a type of show they rarely do and obviously it wasn't as well rehearsed as the usual stage sets, they were comfortable and having a good deal of fun with it. If you want to see their true personalities, and their interactions with each other as sisters and musicians, it is a good example of it.
It was not *The Warning* that released the video. The group of *Kickstarters* ( _NOT Patreons_ ) who owned the rights to the video released it. I belong to the privileged group that could watch them perform this live in London. Being a Patreon did not give anyone access to the performance.
gr8 reaction ... keep going ... dust to dust from the same concert, another song with pau leading vocals... revenant is a gr8 song as well, no drums ... r0ck 0n ... twa \m/
No worries friend, this a Pau song! This is designed to showcase her. Plus I believe Pau leans into every thing she does, drumming, singing, piano playing, you name it!!! Dany has a different skill set, but she leans into hers as well, IMO!!! Thanks for the reaction, keep em coming! Revenant is a Pau ballad as well!!😊⚡️

Revenant is a great song for sure. I’m not sure if this has been brought to your attention or not but this concert video is actually mastered from 2 different but similar shows in the same venue. If you do Revenant, you’ll have to excuse how this sounds, pay attention to Dany’s lap. You might get a chuckle when you see it. I completely agree with your assessment about Pau pouring herself into her performances behind her kit. Not to obscure the fact that she is amazing technically and musically but she is also interacting just as much with the crowd as her sister are. Yes, we have seen this show a multitude of times but we do like watching new reactors discover the wonders of TW as we all did ourselves at some point so we are not just here to watch the band but are truly interested in your thoughts.
Thank you! Glad to see you here. Yes I saw how she is emoting like she's got a mic in her hand and was singing to the front row instead of behind a kit! Good point!
MARTIRIO. Their second Spanish song and one of my absolute favorites (along with ANIMOSITY). REVENANT is a fine choice also, if your looking to continue your Pau binge. Nothing wrong with that at all :). If you want something *really* heavy from them, try QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE. Brilliant and brutal.
-Los temas de The Warning ,tienen una enorme calidad musical como 23, La voz de PAU , dulce y melancolica ,ronca y profunda, excelente interpretacion de Pau ,un tema que muestra el talento de este gran trio de rock
Pau is a real treat. well, they all 3 are but as i struggle to learn drums at 55 years old Pau and a few others keep me motivated. great reaction, i loved when you smiled in awe of Pau's performance. Ohhhhh, check out a 10 year old Pau drum cover of My Life Would Suck I promise it will make you smile.
some have speculated that *23* is for the year "2023" while others have thought it references someone's age... i was not sure but have come to see it as being about "2023" because that's when Pau turned 21 years old... the lyrics "barely old enough to drink" are fitting in many locales where 21 is the drinking age... in DPA/TW's home area, the drinking age is 18, IIRC... then again, while it sounds personal, maybe this song is about something they might have read or seen in a movie or TV show... after all, their song *Amour* comes from a 15 second clip of a scene in the movie "Ratatouille"... that scene has the camera looking through a hole in the wooden floor... there are two characters down there having a fight... maybe a lover's quarrel? i don't remember... anyway, they are arguing, they suddenly hug each other, and it is done; end clip... there's also their song *Wildfire* which inspired by "The Hunger Games" movies... i think at least the 2nd one titled "Catching Fire"... DPA/TW drawn inspiration from a lot of places... IRL, books, movies, games, etc 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
I don't think thsee sisters ould mind being called girls. JUST DON'T say they are a "girl group" or a "chick band." They are a band. The best, to my 77 year old mind, since The Beatles, Stones, Who, LZ, Jimi, and Cream.
Singing drummers are a rarity, and Pau is one of the very best! The sky may not be the limit for The Warning, they are going to take over the Universe! Excellent Reaction!
When Pau sings these slower songs, you heart surrenders. 🤘😎❤️⚠️
The Warning rabbit hole has no stop signs and no exit my friend. Enjoy the ride and keep goin, you only just scratched greatness.
When Pau sings you don't just hear it you feel it too. ⚡⚡⚡
Well said!
Pau is somehow able to be an absolute technician on the drums while simultaneously laying down completely stable soul piercing vocals. She’s a freak of nature in the best possible way!
Nothing to get mad at friend, Pau can command the stage, even from behind the kit. She's just brilliant.
Revenant is a Must See 🤘⚡🔥
There’s nowhere to hide in a trio. All 3 are amazing musicians, and Dani has the perfect voice for rock. But, Pau is a generational talent. You said it well. Great drummer, great voice, and she still conveys perfect emotion with her facial expressions. Imagine what she’ll do in 10 years.
Yes, do "Revenant" from the same concert as this song. Pau comes out from behind the kit to do the lead vocal and it's beautiful.
I don't know how Pau does this🤯. I know she practices singing while running on a treadmill but her sense of pitch and vocal control is super human. TW are one of a kind!.
Pau has the mass of a black hole! Her performance will pull you in! 🤘🏼❤️🔥🤘🏼
They really leave it all on stage. They must be exhausted after their live performances. YES do revenant. It’s captivating!
There's no doubt she gives her all.
Yeah- Pau is incredible at singing those emotional songs. Earth, Water, Fire, Wind…. none have a thing on Pau- the ultimate force of nature. 😀
Passion is one of the reasons we love TW so much. People are drawn to people who do things that way. It’s apparent that Pau has worked extremely hard to be able to perform at this level. It’s irresistible.
