It’s hard to get your head around how sweet, humble and genuine these ladies have remained in an industry that can grind your soul into dust. The fact that they never publicly go negative or play the victim card doesn’t mean they haven’t been wronged, it just means they were raised better than that. They are a breath of fresh air in a profession of divas and egos.
I love Pau's comment at the VMA's after the "Holy shit!" comment. She just looked straight ahead and said "Good. That means we did our jobs correctly."
So, just looking at manager Rudy Joffroy's page, he celebrated 7 years with the band in September. This would mean he joined them when they were 11, 14 and 16.
Mayhem in the making, that's a new one.. hey we know what you meant. 👍I think someday Hollywood will make a movie about this family. Starting out with mom & dad with 3 very young daughter's. An out of tune family piano. Then for Christmas, bought them a video game. "Rock-band" then the parents"throw caution to the wind" and gave the real instruments, cleaned out the basement and turned them loose.. and the rest Her-Story(history).. "You've Been Warned" the movie.... Yep... 🤟🎶☮️
The drums are the loudest acoustic sound on stage and, without a plexi cage, everything else has to be amplified to keep up, in-ears notwithstanding. Keeping up to Pau would be a challenge. Ale's rig run down makes it clear that she is a mature musician who has a clear idea of her sound and how to achieve it.
The mini-doc is a little on the light side with respect to any musical or technical details, as you point out, but gives a good feel for who they are, as well as getting to see a couple other people in their world. Thanks.
There was supposed to be an Ale Villarreal 4 string released in 2021, called Golden Thunder, but I can't find any sign of it actually existing outside of an online photo.
Watch The Warning VLOG 23, 25, and 26 where the girls talk in depth about the songs of the Queen of the Murder Scene album. The meaning, how the songs came about, and the inspiration behind each song.
TW, while being very publicly accessible in the most general terms, still keep most of their intricate details very private. You’d likely have to pour through hours and hours of vlogs, livestreams and interviews to hope to catch them in a slip up where they reveal something specific you may be looking for and even then it’s no safe bet you’ll find it. That’s been the formula since they started really and I also hope they start revealing more details as they progress as a band but I’m not holding my breath. There’s a lot of reading between the lines. IMO it’s not until a band is more established on a national or international level that they seem to loosen up and reveal more of their info and that’s usually much later in the band’s career although some bands seem to suffer from diarrhea of the mouth from the time they are formed…
I think Lava is a good fit for them. They seem to be a "label" that _gets it_ , in terms of today's "music industry"... because it's not so "industrial" anymore. We are not longer restricted to large, capital-intensive manufacturing facilities churning out vacuum-formed plastic materials to make money; it's all digital distribution and a few pennies on an electric bill per song to "publish" music these days. At this point in time, the divide is between "old school" labels that haven't quite grasped that yet, and "new labels" that understand the product they are selling: They are _Marketing Consultants_ ... and that's pretty much *it* . Yes; Lava is a subsidiary of UMG... but United is a pretty conservative holding company, and as long as the numbers are black they don't really care _how_ the business unit decides to operate. If the bean-counters are happy, the board of UMG is happy, and that's all that matters. And Lava is taking the smart tack, and offering up personal/social *connections* as their product. Access to engineers, producers, markets and festivals, etc. That's pretty much precisely what these young ladies needed, and it's paying off quite well thus far. Here's hoping for a further couple more years of a profitable relationship, growing the band's popularity and vision!!!
Pau, (Paulina Villarreal), is nominated for Rock Drummer of the Year’” Please spread the word and vote”. At Drumeo Awards 2023 voting ends 25th 11:59 pm.😎👍

Thanks!
My favorite part is at 13:35 when Dany says "This is me, This is what I do. Do you like it ?!?!"
damn right I love that too

Closest they have come was at Agua Fria storytelling concert in 2018 when Dany did let out some frustration.

To be a fly on the wall when it's just the 3 of them writing a song. Sounds like family doesn't even get that privilege.

There's a clip where Rudy interviews the band, apparently as training for the interviews to come. Cheers from southern Ontario..
According to a comment on their UA-cam channel, DTB is dropping Pau's rig breakdown this week.
Tomorrow afternoon, 1:08 p.m. cst. Not that I'm counting, or anything.
82,000 views on Ale's rundown, and 105,000 on Dany's. No big deal.
Holy crap, very few of the Digital Tour Bus videos have barely over 1K views, almost all are in the hundreds of views.

Thanks RC very enjoyable love DPA. Ale's such a sweetie what a talent she is. 🤘⚡🔥

@@RockCandy-ix3nn Yeah - always check their lyrics. Finally we have a band that is saying something substantial after a long, long time.

Not only are The Warning insanely talented, they some of the sweetest, most humble young women you will ever meet!
Thanks for the reaction RC! I have seen this video a few times, but always enjoy seeing it again! I’ll be here for the next TW reaction you do!!!😊⚡️
Nice to see. Might want to correct your thumbnail Spelling though. “ Mayday”. Not “Mayhem”
My bad. Will do it post haste! Thank you!

Loved it!
She is an excellent bass player ..just turned 19 and she’s as good as some top players that’s been doing it for years.

Just FYI (and I’m sure you already know) but Pau’s gear rundown is officially released.
i love the title "Mayhem in the Making"! it fits very well! 😹
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Whoops! My bad.
@@RockCandy-ix3nn i thought it fit perfect for the chaos and hilarity that happens with DPA/TW from time to time 😜
🤘
Your title is incorrect hope you catch it and change it.
