People talk about things in romantic relationships like skills sometimes, but skills are something that can be judged from the outside.
Romance is not a skill, it's an experience.
It's possible to find an experience that is all you could hope for on the first try, and know that the person you're sharing it with is the only one you want to keep sharing that with. Rare, but possible.

My first kiss was 5 years ago at the tender age of 25. I was interested in a girl in my office, and the feeling was kinda mutual. So happened one day it was raining heavily, my car was parked inside the office compound, hers was outside. I offered to drive her to her car, she accepted. When I got to her car, I said "WELL HERE GOES", and leaned in to kiss her. I ended up kissing her teeth, and I withdrew, a bit awkwardly and embarrassed. She then pulled me back and really gave me a full on kiss(es). I felt myself floating away for a good few seconds. It was quite a magical experience
We got married last month.

"Just do it!" over and over Lol. we were looking at each other for a while and I can tell we were both thinking the same thing. We both wanted to, but we were scared. So finally I gave in, I went for the kiss. Time just stopped, everything got quiet, it was like a movie lol. It was a very short kiss, but it was a kiss I'll never forget. I was 20, and a new semester in college had recently started; this lovely boy, whom I have had a crush on for months, was attending softball class with me, and so we decided to eat some ramen after our first class together. After we ate ramen and drank tea, we went down to sit at a patio which was right between where we worked; the fellow worked at the student center, I worked at the library, and we both had work at noon. Anyway, we were just sitting there, and, as I had put on some bright red lipstick, I was gonna try to make a move and kiss him on the cheek, but I simply didn't have the guts to do it and kept hesitating back and forth. He catches on, however, and says how he's bad at stuff like that too, y'know, confessing that you like someone? And I laughed and then I paused and I was like.. "wait... You... Like me...?" And he's like "yeah, I've been meaning to tell you, but I chickened out each time I was going to tell you." So I'm just sitting there, stuttering and swearing in disbelief, and we just talk there and clear things up for a few more minutes. When we had to go to work, we were both standing up, and I asked him if he wanted to do an "epic gamer move" (that was an inside joke between us ever since he put soda in a water cup XD), and then I gave him a bright red mark on his cheek. I should've done it on the mouth, dang it!! Anyhow, it was absolutely magical.

You won't be alone forever. I know it doesn't seem like it now, but your life is just beginning after high school. So, there's plenty of time to go for what you want and find a nice person along the way to have your first kiss with. I was 17 when I had my first kiss and would have waited longer if that's what would have made me happy at the time. Better wait for the right time than to regret it later just because everyone is doing it.
I understand that there are a lot of social pressures and expectations be sexually active around that age and not being a virgin anymore. But looking at those around me, who had sex when they were 14 or 21, there's no real correlation with how happy they are or what regrets they do or don't have. Everyone is different and that is okay. At the end of the day what matters most is how you feel and that's just something you will have to learn with time and potentially some hurtful mistakes. But you do matter and I'm sure there's someone out there who will feel the same way about you. But it's not a race.

I had my first kiss a few months ago, I was 20 going on 21. Before then I really felt like I was failing in some way. I thought that I must have been doing something wrong. But I still didn't try to push it. I wanted it to be a great first kiss, even if it meant I had to wait a long time. Once on New Year's Eve, a guy I really liked asked if I wanted to kiss him, but I knew the moment wasn´t right. He had drunk a little bit, I was stone-cold sober; he had been flirting with someone else the whole night; it was already daylight and would have been in front of some mutual friends. I declined him, and for some time I regretted it. I thought I had ruined the only chance I had to kiss a guy I actually liked. Some time later I found out he was really an assh*le. I had dodged a bullet, but I still felt like a failure.
A few months later I started talking to another guy. We talked and talked and talked. After a couple of weeks we decided to meet in a park. We spent hours talking and having a great time. I knew this wasn't anything new to him, he had had a girlfriend in the past. At some point he tried to kiss me, I stopped him. I told him it would be my first kiss, in case he was uncomfortable with that. I don't remember what happened immediately after, only that we ended up kissing for more than an hour. It was a great first kiss, not because it was actually good (surprise surprise, I was not magically good at it; he also wasn´t that good, he left me a lip hickey on accident) but because we both were really into each other, got along and just wanted to enjoy it. And besides, if the other person knows it´s your first kiss and they don't care then you feel so much more relaxed. There truly was no preassure.
The point is, there is no need to rush. Sometimes waiting is worth it. It feels great if it feels like fun.

I'm 25, just had my first kiss a few weeks ago, after telling a woman, "I've never been kissed before".
My first kiss was beautiful 🥺 It was with my first boyfriend and we went to the Everglades to watch the sunset. It was kinda rainy and gloomy that day so we weren’t sure if we’d really get to see the sun. But when we got there, on the horizon the clouds were kinda disappearing so by the time the sun was setting, you could see it. So far that weekend we’d only been giving pecks to each other, nothing more. But then at one point on the trail, we turned towards each other to give each other a hug but instead he put his forehead up to mine... his eyes were closed and he was smiling. I was smiling but looking at him. Then finally he went in for a peck and I did too. Except this time we stayed there holding the kiss for a while and I thought... why not try a real kiss. So I moved my mouth to show that I wanted to kiss for real and he went for it. He opened his mouth and started to kiss me. At first I didn’t do anything lmao I just stood there feeling what he was doing. There was tongue and also teeth. I was surprised but after a few seconds, I decided it was ok and felt good so I started to kiss him back the same way. Eventually he pulled away and buried his face in my neck as if embarrassed lol. He was so sweet and cute. Then we went back to my car and made out some more lol. And then later at a parking lot near his neighborhood before I dropped him off home. It was my last night in Florida before I moved away for good. I haven’t been back or seen him since 😔 We’ve also since broken up which is sad but we’re still friends. I still love him a lot and am really grateful that he made my first kiss such a wonderful, good experience.

I'm glad there are a ton of people who are still missing out on that like I do, turning 18 soon enough with no first kiss and no real first relationship up to this date

And after the date we were in her moms car parked in a sams club parking lot. And she’s like “I really wanna kiss you rn” I’m like ok.
