What are the numbers for that gap really? I'm pretty sure men in North America don't need tax-payer funded or non-profit programs to give men an equal opportunity that women have.

its western countries dont face this problem, its in asia, and africa that he mentioned- the images are misleading becasue they're white, and shows western type images, but he is talking about the eastern countries

This video is absolutely awesome from editing, animation to flow of information. I really love how the information is presented and how they organized their arguments and thought. It is so amazing how they put all of this insightful ideas and good points in 3-minute presentation and we the audience are able to smoothly comprehend all of those things. I also like their choice of words, in which they are just using simple words which the audience are able to easily understand. More so, this video gives us a short glimpse to how amazing our future education would be. Like, learners are free to access every single information they need that will help them to foster their learning and that education will be accessible for all for free.

Kudos to the persons behind this editing! I was like watching a moving magazine. It was just amazing that through this presentation/video, I was able to get a glimpse of how the futre of learning would be. Technologies are getting sophisticated each year and the fact that I have no idea of what lies ahead is kind of intriguing but seeing this somehow convince me into a positive thought. Educating humans about technology will create a better society especially when it comes to utilizing technology in thefeild of education. This video is totally an insightful and amazing one. From how it was creatively edited and animated up to how the content is being delivered and presented. The video shows information and content about what future education may hold specifically by the year 2030. The rapid technological development and advancement can't denied the fact of how it greatly helped every aspect of our lives including teaching-and-learning process. Online classes brings so much changes and open doors of opportunities for all as long as there are internet connection and devices to be utilized. No one knows what lies ahead and I personally want to thank all the people behind this video for giving us the chance to see what learning could be years form now. And as future educator, this is indeed a big help because by the year stated in the video, I might be one of millions who facilitates learning and with this video, I see possibilities of future teaching-and-learning process which give me an idea what to prepare for. Are these all done in After Effects AE + Illustrator?
For the past 5 years I believed online education does work the most wonders. Just in one month in December - over winter break actually - of self-training online, I can be a TA for my animation class (for 3D animation). I made myself become professionally skillful in Graphic Design in high school, mostly thanks to the internet's help. The internet helped me become a better illustrator/2D character artist and better in Spanish. All in a short number of years. Since day 1 I knew Khan Academy would do a better job for the future, and people before spoke of this method in the past already. And with technology doing a better job in this direction, I can only see things turn for the better for our society's mentalities.

After Effects for 2D animation. Maya for 3D. Blender is a pretty good program for 3D animation as well and it's free :).

I know this is a reply a year later, but I'm pretty sure that in a lot of cases people in africa can get a smartphone for under $100 which is cheaper than a computer.
Bryce Joseph-Nelson That's very debatable and may be more true now, but I think what could be more important is that a lot of the poorest parts of the world still have desktop PCs laying around.
Jeru Sanders Totally. Maybe saying it's cheaper now is premature. However this video series is about what things will be like by 2030. I think by then phones will be dirt cheap (Like $15) and things such as Google's project loon to give out internet will be available to give out internet access to those in remote areas.

Quite the opposite. He's a sociopath, completely detached from what's real and what's important in life and that is sense of community and coexistence with nature, in harmony. These are the two areas where he is an expert of wreaking havoc.

The big problem is that online courses are boring as fuck. Who wants to sit in front of a screen and think hard for hours a day instead of learning together with others. It's okay and nice if doing things online brings something extra to learning but doing everything in online wont work for most.
Most who would use it don't have that option.
