Mississippi Pot Roast
An Easy crockpot recipe you can make on the go!
Brown the roast on all sides!
Place it in a crockpot
To the crockpot add:
1 Stick (8 TBS of butter)
3-4 Pepperoncini peppers
Add a little of the juice from the jar as well
Add 1 packet of Au jus mix and 1 packet of Ranch Mix
I also add 1 TSP of Better Than Bouillion (Roasted Beef Base)
Set your crockpot for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high
Cover and walk away.
My roast was really thick so I cut it in half so that it basted correctly.
Once it's done, it should be fork tender like so!
Serve over Rice or potatoes or whatever you like!
