@@stormdragon2529 I guess that makes sense, though I remember playing on a high level mid-tier laptop at the time and managed to totally enjoy the first playthrough. I like the one that involves the big guy with the machine gun and the little guy with the smaller gun talk about what happened with Poison Ivy and the Fear Toxin.
This line genuinely scared me while I was playing. Like I never thought of Scarecrows fear toxin to be affective considering Batman was under its influence and all it did was blurry the TV screen and put you through a boring "Scarecrow is huge now and you need to jump and platform around him to beat him" level. But this line got rid of that goofiness and made me fear for what will happen to Gotham next (Pun intended).
@@Spider-Mate It's pretty terrifying to think what it'd be like if the toxin was real. I mean, it's gotta eat a person up inside. 52:26 I Find this fairly interesting, since the Criminals of Gotham are already fairly terrified of batman. Though the fact he might actually kill them instead of his already fairly menacing presence over them scares the living shit out of them.
Later in the game when batman is succumbing to the brain disease you'll hear some dialogue where they mention how he seems like hes "hitting harder than before" and "not holding back as much"
It was my reaction when I first started using the bat mobile. I thought Batman just snapped after the death of Joker and just decided to go full Punisher
It reminded me of that one Rick and Morty scene when they faked diving in acid and the guy was all mentally scarred and his men are comforting him and stuff telling him they're free and he can talk about it
i love the one where th thug says "why are the militia still here. im rooting for batman to kick their ass. this is our city" the tone of voice always makes me laugh
When I heard 17:46, I got so freaking excited because I thought I was gonna get a Deathstroke rematch, and I refocused myself to clearing the militia checkpoints and outposts in order to get it, but I never managed to finish...... What a bullet I dodged, huh?
Really though, we got one of the greatest boss battles in the entire series back in origins and here they just gave us another tank fight.. how pathetic smh
I remember there was a line from the militia that they saw Jason Todd's face. It was like "Arkham Knight was a kid" or somethin. They even saw Jason crying
i love the notion that Gotham city is internationally infamous for having weird supervillain shit happening all the time, in addition to the high rate of traditional crime
I love how dialogue from the guards shows us just how powerful Scarecrow's Fear Toxin is. Even in its gaseous state, which Scarecrow himself admits isn't nearly as potent as the liquid Fear Toxin in his Freddy Krueger-esc syringe hand thing, is powerful enough to cause convincing auditory hallucinations just after breathing in a small amount.
Anytime some thug, militia soldier, or whatever started talking big I always appreciated how someone was there to point out how many *other* people had boasted about how they were going to take down The Bat. Always made it so much more satisfying to drop down and kick ass right afterwards. It was such a lovely invitation, how could I refuse?
I feel like a game about the Ark Knight and how he built his army. Going off recruiting cast away soldiers, killing those who get in your way and researching cutting edge tech. Kinda like another MGS game
I like how these guys have the most simple conversations while being trained soldiers They're just doing their jobs, taking orders, and then here we come, turning their leg sideways, stealing their femurs, and twisting their arms 180° like the menace we are lol
I honestly love the Militia reaction to finding bodies, their little talks “Was it batman?” “No bruises Choked out(Something like that)” and how they know his MO and then at the end there’s one left they’re terrified and Knight is just wanting him to be taken out although I don’t think there’s any dialogue when they’re alone
13:30 cracks me up so much. Just the bravado slowly fading down to the uncertainty. And then the certainty of "we had an understanding". Almost makes me feel bad when you break in later. XD

15:38 he’s really asking for it
"But what about Batman?" Ha, bring it on, I say. I love that line.
“Always sneaking up on people. He tries that on me, he’s in for a surprise.”
*Gets snuck up on
The Real Corey Tenderson pretty much
Jacob O'Donnell you’d have to have balls to say that
Can't argue with that.
52:26 I Find this fairly interesting, since the Criminals of Gotham are already fairly terrified of batman. Though the fact he might actually kill them instead of his already fairly menacing presence over them scares the living shit out of them.
I mean, they’ve seen how fast and strong he is.
He already cripples them, imagine if he suddenly started murdering.
They *_know_* they’d be fucked.
“You think Batman’s gonna sneak up on us if you take your eyes off the bridge for one moment?”
*it was at this moment that Travis knew…he fucked up*
Pretty much yea🤣😂
I Love it when the one criminal says "you what will make this night worst if that freak from metropolis fly over here
9:48 My favorite conversation in the whole game.
Most supportive soldier in the whole game
It reminded me of that one Rick and Morty scene when they faked diving in acid and the guy was all mentally scarred and his men are comforting him and stuff telling him they're free and he can talk about it
29:35 “My cousin’s out fighting Batman, and what do I get? Guard duty.”
i love the one where th thug says "why are the militia still here. im rooting for batman to kick their ass. this is our city" the tone of voice always makes me laugh
When I heard 17:46, I got so freaking excited because I thought I was gonna get a Deathstroke rematch, and I refocused myself to clearing the militia checkpoints and outposts in order to get it, but I never managed to finish......
What a bullet I dodged, huh?
Yea the boss sucked
I did it and... it was anticlimactic at best
Really though, we got one of the greatest boss battles in the entire series back in origins and here they just gave us another tank fight.. how pathetic smh
@@Stormertheboy Bro and then when you beat him you beat him by shooting him not no good tactics
Origins: point-counter-point, culmination of Bruce's close quarter prowess
Knight: Electrocutioner 2: electric boogaloo
29:08 "Let's not mix work and politics, ok?" Smart goon right there.
"Anyone bored? I'm bored?"
“This beats waiting for food drops in Arkham City”
You chicken man? Or batman?
I legit hear they’re voices in my head😹😹😹
40:40 absolutely my favorite conversations
I love how they aren’t just scared of Batman, but they’re also scared of the super villains in Gotham.
Because they know batman doesn't kill but the villains will kill you in the most painful ways.
I remember there was a line from the militia that they saw Jason Todd's face. It was like "Arkham Knight was a kid" or somethin. They even saw Jason crying
20:12
@@villiannewyork Nah, that's not it. They said he was crying
Most of these soldiers seem like young men themselves
The conversations in these games are always a treat.

the conversation at 1:21:56 is the best one after finishing the game
1:19:33 Yeah that thug is going to get every bone in his body broken.
His ass isn't coming outta that coma.
Batman would do it then wait till he heals and do it again. Every time until brucey dies
i love the notion that Gotham city is internationally infamous for having weird supervillain shit happening all the time, in addition to the high rate of traditional crime
It’s so cool how they subtly integrated same sex relationships in this conversation. 31:45.
I didn't even know that was a line lol
Winter Sky
It’s pretty understated, mate. I’m sure you can take it.
@Winter Sky TFW you're so fragile that you can't handle fictional gay people in a video game
Gotham criminals/terrorists are equal opportunity offenders. Hell, remember the time the Joker beat up Red Skull because he was a nazi?
reddit moment
20:22 THATS POINTING OUT HES FRIGGIN JASON TODDSD
8:50 this basically proves origins is canon.
Also firefly talks about leaving him on the bridge back in origins
@@hunters2569 oh yeah, that too!
@@hunters2569 they also mention Anarky, Electrocutioner, and Deathstroke mentions his fight with Batman.
It is cannon idiots just think it isn’t because it’s by WB
IIPrecisionII exactly
I love how dialogue from the guards shows us just how powerful Scarecrow's Fear Toxin is. Even in its gaseous state, which Scarecrow himself admits isn't nearly as potent as the liquid Fear Toxin in his Freddy Krueger-esc syringe hand thing, is powerful enough to cause convincing auditory hallucinations just after breathing in a small amount.
1:29:01 still not good as Mark'laugh, guys!
They went above and beyond with NPC conversations. Just imagine how much of the dialog was cut from the game.
I like that the NPCs have lively conversations, makes me more entertained
„An architectural connoisseur” 😂😂😂 I do love the one with the „we‘re right across a giant clock and you’re asking me how late it is?“ also
T-Bone I had that one today lol
1:15:40 I just love when the thugs are playing like children. :))) Puts a smile on my face...
Just in the Arkham Knight's anniversary day . Nice work man keep it up
I feel like a game about the Ark Knight and how he built his army. Going off recruiting cast away soldiers, killing those who get in your way and researching cutting edge tech.
Kinda like another MGS game
Deathstroke is basically big boss, except without stealth abilities.
31:58 Even cheating would be a better excuse than this betrayal lol.
Yeah, right? If his man finds out about what he's doing in Gotham, he's a dead man 😂
To be fair, he is technically in a business trip.
15:12 i love the little details that the 2 soldiers actually walk away after finishing the conversation
4:19 this conversation hits hard dude. I forgot that these criminals and militia soldiers are human beings too
Best dialog from the Thug: 39:32
I remember hearing a militia saying “group up for a selfie! #city of fear!” Probably worded it wrong
I like how these guys have the most simple conversations while being trained soldiers
They're just doing their jobs, taking orders, and then here we come, turning their leg sideways, stealing their femurs, and twisting their arms 180° like the menace we are lol
36:36 if they only knew that his butler WAS that ex-special forces soldier 😂
I honestly love the Militia reaction to finding bodies, their little talks “Was it batman?” “No bruises Choked out(Something like that)” and how they know his MO and then at the end there’s one left they’re terrified and Knight is just wanting him to be taken out although I don’t think there’s any dialogue when they’re alone
The militia consistently being freaked out by Scarecrows face throughout the game is one of the best parts of Arkham Knight :D
1:12 almost everyone's fantasy
Every member feels like they each have their own lives and thoughts
Don’t you just love waiting, listening to their conversations, adding it to the main story, and then you have to take them down.
13:30 cracks me up so much. Just the bravado slowly fading down to the uncertainty. And then the certainty of "we had an understanding". Almost makes me feel bad when you break in later. XD
One of my favorite batman moments no action just fear and stare down 13:14

I was pretty much a little kid when I first started following your channel all those years ago. It's amazing to see how far you've come ever since then and with a new rocksteady game coming soon it only goes up from here
DeathStroke1116 Very glad to know you still follow the channel! Hopefully there are still many more games to come, so the cycle never stops.
The Arkham Channel I'm sure everybody who knows they are developing another game is hoping it's a game related to the Arkham series somehow even if you're not batman because there were many holes left in the story after Arkham knight
The fact that I listened through this entire video and was entertained is really telling of how good the dialogue is
1:27:33 best Conversation ever

I think we can all agree that Militia Conversation #8 is relatable to a degree
And at 13:18 I like those two militia soldiers. They seem nice, a hell of a lot nicer than most other thugs.
And at 51:55, one of the thugs was being really dramatic with their threat. "Its gonna be NICE and SLOOOW" 😂😂
At 14:05 i wish batman said to the two thugs neither are your bones after the no hard feelings
7:36 good thing this guy never met Ratcatcher
30:50 sums up the REAL problem with Batman's modus operandi.
15:19 I like to imagine that both the Arkham Knight and Scarcrow told him not to do it
32:00 i wanna watch the sitcom about the gay human rights lawyer and his husband, a black market mercenary who commits war crimes on domestic soil behind his back
This feels vaguely like the plot of Barry.
1:10 - The entire city evacuated due to fear toxin bombs that could literally go off any minute and this guy thinks billionaires and supermodels stayed behind to party.
56:03 do the worm
Haven't started watching but I have to Like and comment prior to it. A million times, thank you.
Some of the criminals are so funny I almost feel sorry for beating them to a pulp. Even without Paul Dini involved, this game had wonderful writing.
I was saddened because there was no E3 presence nor announcement, but now, I can't help but feeling happy.
I can’t believe how many of these I’ve never heard. Had this video sitting in my watch later for ages now
