Gott say as someone who tested out unica masques a ton, she's not that bad. Gaining an extra drive + retire is really easy if you run 3 or more of the original unica. You could also soulblast it out when you use your skill, and then remove it later, barely cost you any resources. Normally when I'm playing the non-masques version, my vanguard attack would get pg'd since all the pressure is conjugated onto the vanguard. However, with the new one dishing out 4 attacks with triple drive, i feel that it's more consistent and puts more pressure. Your vanguard is already gonna get pg'd from a triple drive alone if your opponent has 3 or more damages, so an extra critical is unnecessary. The older cards that put triggers from drop to soul is more of an engine to keep unica's and sparda's skill working. Overall tho, I think the masques form is an upgrade, not a downgrade, since the only thing that is gone is the extra critical.
Hopefully unica's maques version can get some better supporrt to fix its problem cause I just got my deck yesterday and I'm worried it won't perform as well as it should.
Zorga has the best shot at being meta with the masque engine drajewled is hyped up so much cause its drajewled but id rather keep using og drajewled cause it doesn’t use a c blast to cripple op Vanguard and put pressure. But on the other hand i am so excited for greedon masques i have high hopes for him.
@@dred_dreamr for his skill i was thinking of something opposite to regular greedon like when he attacks if you have no rear guards call up to 5 desire devil units from soul to rear guard imo this would be the perfect skill for greedon cause of the lack of multi attacks it has sometimes not sure on his plus or downside tho.
Drajewel mask as shown in the anime has good reason for just turbo play if opponent is at g2. The crit gain being not reliant on a g3 opponent is always a good push tactic along with the retire. I also believe that zorga turbo is a good play given you do setup easily 2 units from the zorgas then have room for alchemagic. Lianorn and astroea doesn't need to turbo but the deck mix might be weird if taking into account turn 1 plays.
Zorga 20/10 this sh*t is broken af when combine with roaming prison dragon(s). 10k persona ride, 10k ache, maybe 5k from miasma order and self 10k+extra cri
So you bound 3 critical triggers to get an extra drive with Unica and now you are telling me with Bico I'm getting it from removing a Unica? You don't even get the crit anymore either. And unlike Drajeweled, running multiple copies of Unica hurts the deck consistency if you are aiming to go into Bico right away.
Yes. In my opinion, zorga has the best with "removing a card" which means, you dont need to run another zorga or grave zorga to activate its effect. The order fix this issue. So 4 copies of teasing spiritualist is enough in the main deck
@@ItsMeMemiya lianorn, drajewel, and unica masques need to remove their original form to gain more advantage. Drajewel masques get crit+1, unica masques get drive +1. Lianorn masques only call a G1 unit and retire 1 opponent RG. This means you need to run 3 copies of original G3 and 4 copies of their masques. In the other hand, zorga masques can call a unit or take back an order card. All of the effect can be substitute with orders like clouded miasma, overcoming, SBD, frozen resentment, so just running 1 original zorga on rideline is enough.
I don’t think the Masques units will see that much competitive success, there will be a few though, mostly because of the Stride Deckset matchups, there will be lots of Grade 2 gaming if those decks face off and if the stride decks ride to grade 3 first, they are gonna have a bad time when facing a Masques deck.
I played unica masque and i think it's better than drajeweled masque after playing both. Drajeweled is cb heavy enough as it is. By putting your minus power to your cb, it becomes way easier to deny drajeweled masque
I tested with cc. Because the deck has very little space. Max is 2 copies of the cc. So it's pretty inconsistent in terms of being able to see it. So i still feel the cb pain. Main skill being CB tied makes it worse

Drajeweled needs the g2 promo to make it not cb heavy and it's always good to also retire 2 rear
If you guys had so rate the maques units from 1 to 4 how would you rated them?

@@brandonnguyen1770 Exactly. It doesn't need different orders to do alchemegic anymore.
I have a question. Do you think the maques version of unica will get some more support to help fix its issues??
I don't know how they can support bico without just making unica better without the masques :/
@@SnownaVG dang sadge moments. I had hope bico would be at least decent. I had bought set 9 hoping she would be good. T.T
