Yep this is all might weakened, wearing weights, transferred one for all, and holding back
Wolf1741 1/60th of his prime strength, wearing half his body weight (250lbs/114kg) in extra weights, intentionally holding back.
I love when Bakugo is under his foot and he has the realization of JUST how powerful All Might is, saying “he’s not just powerful; he IS power.”Bakugo always knew All Might was the strongest, but I don’t think he realized just how powerful he really was. Endeavor talks about how the gap between him and All Might just kept widening no matter how hard he worked, and he knew there was no way he could even be in All Might’s league. Even with All Might at less than 2% prime strength, he’s still the strongest hero. Thinking about how powerful that really is can be mind-blowing; it even left Bakugo speechless, and he doesn’t even know about One For All.
It blows my mind that Deku will one day be even stronger than that thanks to the nature of One For All; it’s a stockpiling quirk that builds off everything the previous holder did with it, so All Might passed on something immense that Deku can make even stronger once he can wield it at 100% at will.
Kaempfdog that’s the beauty of One for All. Each wielder makes it stronger.
Fitting you should reach this episode the same week that the manga released "Katsuki Bakugo Rising"

Oh man the Bakugou feels of the future arcs...so much Baku-Angst to come...
i mean bakugo was right running is useless. you have to fight him, you will never get past without a fight. midoriya was only tyring to run in the beginning because he was scared. that's not how a hero behaves. if all might was a real villain you would have to fight as a hero even if it means death. if you run away who's going to stop him. the civilians?

@@maguire7520 i know midoriya is the mc. still he didn't pass as a hero for this one in my eyes. despite bakugo's character, he has a better hero mindset.
Yeah!! Midoria wasn't thinking rational too. Bakugou too when he just want to win with just fight. It was a combination of both. And both were wrong and the begining.
Winning is IMP for a hero because it stops villains from doing further damage...but some dumbass katsuki haters will never get it because all they can think is SAVING...like picking up people bridal style and saving them....and i am like okay..then whoes gonna fight? Midoriya was able to even go for an escape because bakugou was sacrificing himself ..but people dont see that...all they see is midoriya saving bakugou and being the so called real hero...if all might caught midoriya that last time while is was saving bakugou they would have fuckin failed...that was sooooooo fooslish..but nah ..bakugou haters wouldnt be able to digest that
@@aymanm.8462 Not really because heroes must work well with others and he failed with flying colors in that category. You can't just do shit on your own and try to knock down everything in front of you with brute force because it can cause trouble to your teammates if they have a plan set up and that's a bad strategy. Both Izuku and Katsuki fucked up here.
Only one person can use brute force and get away with it and that's All Might and that's only bc he's op af, and even he doesn't do it majority of the time until he knows everyone is safe and out of harms way and he isn't working against his teammates.
If this wasn't a training scenario and the real thing, Katsuki's actions could've gotten both of them or civilians killed.
The clever foil between Bakugo and Midoriya is that they both looked at the same idol as kids but saw different ideals. One saw a guaranteed winner and one saw a kind savior. Neither was wrong but it led to extreme results after Bakugo's pride was stoked and Midoriya's lack of quirk was ridiculed. Their characters are amazing given they mostly created each other.
I disagree Bakugo was definitely wrong as a Hero your concern shouldn't just be about winning you need to be more concerned about the people around more so over winning protecting everyone around you is honestly more important than winning.
@@adambump5297 Well winning may not be solely sufficient but it is still necessary. The point is obviously to do both because people who don't win can't live to save anyone. Also I never said he's a good hero, just a good character foil.

Bakugo is the most skilled among all the students. He reminds me of Vegeta. He is more amazing to me than midoriya and the fav.
I hated him for a long time, until season 3 and 4 I really started to like him, I still like Midoriya more, and Mirio

@ His superiority complex, how it evolves, and how he learned to respect Deku by season 3.
How despite how hot-headed he is, he is still a very bright and talented student. This aspect of him is often overshadowed by the general image of 'hahaha bully go boom'
The creativity he shows compared to many students and the absolute mastery of his quirk to make the most of it. Even Todoroki is just 'haha ice wall go CRASH and fire go BOOM' and by that I don't mean Todoroki isn't particularly skilled or intelligent but Bakugo has made much more of his quirk, like AP shot, Howitzer Impact, and maneuvering.

it's a beautiful thing. Bakugo maybe annoying but his strong willingness to fight is still beautiful thing. Sometimes in war, we respect our enemy who fights to the death, happens in history all the time. And what was the most beautiful thing in this episode is those two enemy like teams, becomes one as they both are put under the same pressure. The trust built out of contract in a very brief moment. The real drama of all human reactions is in this episode. Loved it.
this episode is so good for so many reasons, not the least of which seeing All Might absolutely bitch smack Bakugo around. pure catharsis

As much as midoriya is fan of all might, all might is fan of midoriya. When he felt like hopeless this quark less kid inspired him in first episode. He is seeing that growing to be new symbol
If you are ever going to react to OVA's I strongly recommend you watch the first OVA (Two Heroes) right after you finish season 2!

To me, Bakugo doesn't look dark or a villain. He is just pathetic. I like villains, i like dark characters. But Bakugo is neither. He is just insecure.

@@mkingd35gaming I generally consider it equal, but I did notice in this reaction that the summary at the end of the exams talks about "this school year" as if the school year is over and I now know why I keep having to clarify to friends that this is just the end of the first semester and not the actual end of the school year.
u need to watch it more often.... there are so much much much better episodes....
I'm sorry Suzy, I understand Kacchan means so much to you... but I could not stand his grudgey whining 3 seasons straight. The times he is relatable are so far and between with a rinse repeat cycle. If it wasn't for either Mineta's funny antics or All Might's humane struggles to calm me down, I would never have finished season 2 because of one Overrated nut that yells 24-7hrs!

@@maguire7520 I have always made it a point to rewatch this series 3 times each episode consistently to make sure I understand everybody, this is how I feel. I am somebody who puts Anti-heroes on a high regard, yet jst find Bakugo to be a poorly constructed character despite even my neutral moods. But don't worry, I do acknowledge the rare times he is great and 'starting' to ease up on him on season 4 afterwards.
When you have time to spare you should definitely try hajime no ippo. Has some of the greatest characters and can be absolutely hilarious at times. You might be put off by it being a boxing anime, but you'll be hooked after the first episode. 😉
