Well i am 30 and I just started skin care and moisturizing a couple of months ago. And nope, i don't have good skin but uite oily and quite congested - faaaar far away from perfect skin :D so yeah

I heard a lot about that too such as avoid any sugar, milk, cheese, etc. Btw, Does yogurt include ? (knowing that it has good probiotic for digestion system, but also it is made by milk)
My husbands dermatologist told him to avoid caramel color, dark sodas, chocolate etc because it causes acne. He had Melanoma a few years ago and his new dermatologist said to avoid citrus fruits and acid. Because citrus helps melanoma form (or something like that) so he stopped drinking orange juice.
I learned that human beings are obligate carnivores. our natural human species diet is predominantly animal flesh. so meat and organ meats. dairy such as cheese and milk is ok in its organic raw form. so you don't need to avoid that. what you want to avoid is sugar and anything that breaks down into sugar in the body like carbohydrate. if you want healthy skin eats saturated fat from animals and the protein from animals. and you also want to avoid the missing of macronutrient because you risk provoking sometimes called the Randle cycle.

Hi James, I’m a complete beginner in skincare and watching your videos have helped me a lot with my skincare routine. I have a question, you mentioned that you have oily skin but i notice that you use moisturisers & toners for ‘dry skin’ (as you mentioned in the videos), can i pls have an explanation regarding that? Thank you very much James
From watching james and mixed makeup, I've learned that products meant for dry skin can actually help those with oily skin! That's because people with dry skin usually lack hydration and the same usually goes for those with oily skin! The lack of hydration in oily skin is sometimes what makes the oil glands overproduce oil and make you look shinier. I have oily skin and after always trying to strip my skin of oil, I decided to start hydrating it even more with a hydrating cleanser and hydrating serums and it really helped me, hope this helps!
I didn't know the Cosrx rice mask could be used during the day! The cosrx centella blemish cream didn't really do anything. I feel like it added to my breakouts 😣

I have oily skin so I stoped using moisturisers like 3 years ago because my face gets too shiny. Now I know why my face and neck is duller/ darker than the rest of my body
You mentioned in one of your videos that Jojoba oil (or whatever it's called) could be good to use at night even with oily skin. When would I apply it? I Pre-cleanse -> Cleanse -> Tone -> Moisturize. Every other day I also Exfoliate after Cleansing.

I have really dry skin but am struggling with spots and acne and am having a hard time trying to find a moisturiser that does not break me out but moisturises me at the same time :/
@@natashah1489 with cerave I believe the moisturizing cream is a good moisturizer but I think the main fix to you issue is better cleanser and their salicylic acid cleanser is a reasonable option. The bioderma atoderm moisturizer is also perfect for dry and sensitive skin. I don't know a specific Eucerin moisturizer but I know their brand offers great products for sensitive and acne prone skin. Also, I think James has a video or two dedicated to finding the best moisturizer otherwise I recommend Susan Yara or Hyram
I use the cerave moisturize cream and it really helped my dry skin. I apply it to damp skin and lightly pat (instead of rub) it to the face. That helps. If you want to go even further you could try the snail muccin essence before your moisturizer from cosrx (also on damp skin).
Hey James! I loooove my svr moisturizer which contains niacinamide but niacinamides are water soluble and I always use my moisturizer on top of damp skin to do its job. Do you know if the water can dissolve the niacinamides in my cream?
I agree with the circa balm cream. I had the same problem of irritated dehydrated skin in winter and using the cicaplast cream of la Roche posy really helped me a lot. Thanks for the precious information!👍🏻
If you have dry skin honestly just use e45 cream, my skin has been dry and acne prone for ages and I tried loads of fancy products but just a simple cleanser and e45 has sorted it out pretty well. It's also cheap af and hasn't broken me out!
I don't use moisturizers because I still haven't found one that wouldn't irritate my skin. :( I would love to try Korean skincare but I have super sensitive skin and it's so hard to find ANY skincare products that wouldn't inflame my skin so I'm a bit afraid of applying so many different products at the same time when my skin can't even handle a single moisturizer. It's so frustrating because I'm wasting money that I don't really have by buying a new product just to try it once and getting a bad reaction, my skin would very much need moisturizing and I have all these products that I can't use. The latest moisturizer that I tried was meant for sensitive skin, it was perfume and paraben-free with the allergen-free symbol and I've never gotten such a bad reaction from any skincare product before as I got from that one. My skin is still hurting after 28 hours. When I don't use any skincare what so ever my t -zone is a little bit oily, but not terrible and my cheeks get really dry and overall my skin just looks dull. When I try skincare it's a nightmare waiting to happen. But I'm still not going to give up on my search. "The One" is still out there somewhere
Can you suggest other alternative products without niacinamide content? Everytime i use moisturizer or products with niacinamide content i always break out. Thank you Btw. My skin type is Oily to combination
Every night I watched my mother smother her face in Avon vitamoist. I can still remember the smell on her face as shed tuck me into bed. She is in her 70s now and it paid off. She looks amazing. I took note and in my early 20s I began a maticulious skin care regimen. I am now in my 40s now and have no crows feet, no lines at all really. It pays to take care of your skin. After all it's your largest body organ.
If you don’t moisturize your skin will make extra oil to compensate for the lack of moisture. So if you have oily skin you should moisturize too. Hope this helps
What can you say about Aloe Vera as moisturizer? I saw one of your video and you used it as moisturizer. I have an oily skin on the T Zone. Need your advice James. Thank you 😊
u can use it as a humectant (which attracts water and keep it on your skin) but a moisturizer usually also work as an occlusive (which keep the water from evaporating from your skin), also aloe vera is slightly astringent so I don't think it should be used every day but it depends of your skin type, if your skin is healthy and not sensitised u should be ok :)
Hi! I´m a new suscriber, and I love your videos!!! I should post this in the serum video, but you really need to try the Toosowong Green Tea Essence, is like a gel type serum, and oh my gosh, is wonderful. It has a 75% of green tea extract, as well as niacinamide, very gentle, very soothing and very brightening, I love it! :D
Can you please review Sisley Ecological compound moisturiser and Keihl's moisturisers and other products. We would all save a whole chunk of money if you review them please. Lots of love from England xx
I feel like this is a long shot to get a response but, first off I want to say I love you and all your videos. Now time to get to why I'm written. Do you have a good person to watch that has extremely dry skin and on the sensitive side? I know you've gone through the ringer with your skin at times and are very knowledgeable but it would be nice to watch someone who has skin like mine. Thanks in advanced if you see this.
Hi, give it a try the Isntree products especially their hyaluronic acid line 🤞 and please make a review about the Ordinary serums like the Alpha arbutin + HA because I really want to know your opinions about it ☺️ Thank you so much from Philippines 🥰💕
Hey! As someone with oily skin too, moisturising is still super important for us to do! By not moisturising, your denying your skin of moisture, and your skin will react to the lack of moisturiser by creating more oils! I find that using an oil as a Moisturiser at night, helps my skins oils stay in control
one of the best dermatologist in the ph said that don't use moisturizer since it keeps the dead skin on the face and its signalling the body to stop hydration
@@chilieoil8621 yeah so many people have told me about this! An d a lot of dermatologists would disagree with her too! I think she kinds contradicts herself by saying moisturiser traps in dead skin....but also to exfoliate everyday. Seeing as the point of exfoliating is to remove the dead skin?! I think its really down to how your skin feels. My skin would personally hate a daily exfoliation :P
I guess it depends, coz there are many people who agreed in not using moisturizer since it works for them, but daily expoliation sounds wrong, it will definitely irritate or dry out the skin. :)

I accidentally found your channel about a week ago and I got to say I really enjoy your videos.. all the information is very interesting and I’ve learn so much from your video..👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I bought my daughter the CosRx BHA Black head toner.. and I bought the CosRx Rice overnight mask. Thank You 😊
hey!!! ahhh glad you tumbled across my channel! ahhhh theyre honestly two of my fave products of all time!
I guess I have dry skin because my main moisturizer is the LUSH Rump Cream. its super thiccc and not intended for the face but it lasts and lasts and feels so good
I agree omg it kills me when people tell me they dont moisturize 🙄😯😧
Amazing video as always james❤
What are ur thoughts about the clinique products and especially the charchol range cause i was thinking of getting it
Could you please do a video on facials/where to get facials done in the U.K.? If you’ve tried any xx
Hey! I actually haven’t ever had a facial. I think because I’d be worried about the products they’d use on my skin haha
I do multiple moisturizers.. clinique moisturiser... moisture surge by clinique as well... then i top it with lumivie by mary kay... i am a skin care addict
Clinique are one of the worst for animal testing
I use Khiel’s moisturizer hahaha I know you’re a bit 50:50 with Khiel’s but I have to finish it first as it is expensive lol
I been stuck on the hada labo toners/lotions... I bought the white moist one and the red and love them soo much. As always thank you for the great re CD recommendations.!
Great content. Keep ‘em coming.. love watching your videos.💛💛
thanks richard!!! xx
I have really dry skin but am struggling with spots and acne and am having a hard time trying to find a moisturiser that does not break me out but moisturises me at the same time :/
Have you tried cerave or Eucerin or bioderma?
Jessica N. Wow thank you so much! I have not but do you know any specific products by any chance if not that’s okay!🥰
Jessica N. Omg thank you so so so much for your time I really appreciate it!🧡
I use the cerave moisturize cream and it really helped my dry skin. I apply it to damp skin and lightly pat (instead of rub) it to the face. That helps. If you want to go even further you could try the snail muccin essence before your moisturizer from cosrx (also on damp skin).
Ok i have watched 20 vidoes of james in the last 2 days.... and im beginning to realize how insufficient my skincare routine really is :(
I was just using Simple! But wanted more...glad I found James. Cute and informative. What more do u need xxx
Ponds moisturizer and makeup remover cold cream is good. 👍
First video of yours that I have watched and I must say, you have a lovely voice. Very easy to listen to and keep engaged.
I am for India. So best indian moisturizer
Who keeps staring at his mouth and not pay attention to what he is saying 🙈🥰 soo Gorgeous ❤️
you’re gorgeous 🥺, wow !
I also used the La roche posay one in winter. But in the summer it is too shiny. My face gets oily anyway and I don't like the additional shine.
Nikolina I agree! It’s always recommended to use a lighter moisturizer for summer.
My skin sensitive and little acne prone also with dark spot for sunburn what product I should use in budget?
I use cerave the best one of all time
James You're my life saver ❤️😭
If you have dry skin honestly just use e45 cream, my skin has been dry and acne prone for ages and I tried loads of fancy products but just a simple cleanser and e45 has sorted it out pretty well. It's also cheap af and hasn't broken me out!
So would it be safe to use the “NAKEUP FACE” one with the ordinary “Niacinamide + zinc” together?
I hope you can answer me , what's about innisfree products are they available in all countries , Because it is a korean brand
Can you suggest other alternative products without niacinamide content? Everytime i use moisturizer or products with niacinamide content i always break out. Thank you
Btw. My skin type is Oily to combination
Eros Kim aloe vers gels
I just use Nature republic aloe vera gel. 2 Months afterward, my face is soooo plume
I was wondering if the aloe vera gel is enough. Haha ty for this information. Do you have oily skin?
Hi James,
What do you think about Horace products ?
Thanks
Really nice video! I love Soon Jung line
Moisturizing help to clear oil from face? My skin type is oily skin
If you don’t moisturize your skin will
make extra oil to compensate for the lack of moisture. So if you have oily skin you should moisturize too. Hope this helps
Your accent😍😍😍 am dying..
🙈🙈🙈
What can you say about Aloe Vera as moisturizer? I saw one of your video and you used it as moisturizer. I have an oily skin on the T Zone. Need your advice James. Thank you 😊
u can use it as a humectant (which attracts water and keep it on your skin) but a moisturizer usually also work as an occlusive (which keep the water from evaporating from your skin), also aloe vera is slightly astringent so I don't think it should be used every day but it depends of your skin type, if your skin is healthy and not sensitised u should be ok :)
@@babushkagirl1456 ty for this answer. So, it's not the best if you're gonna use it twice a day?
What’s your thoughts on Kiehls skincare?
hmmmmm....i'm never massively impressed by their products tbh. always a little disappointing and expensive for what they are!
James Welsh thank you! I’m going to look into these top 5 now, Thank you handsome!
Some of the products are good. Midnight Recovery Eye Cream and Oil is my most favorite from their offerings. And yeah they are overpriced
Thanks for the video James !
I have a question, does one wear sunscreen during the day even when one isn't going out for the day ?
Hey! I personally do as I work by a window!!!
@@JamesWelsh ok, thank you so much
THOUGHTS: Netrogena hydro water gel moisturizer?
can anyone other than Mr. bin ladin comment ? lol
Just started following u . Really liking your content
my husband has never washed his face except for once when i had him put a face mask on with me but its literally always flawless 😪
Innisfree and cosrx just the brand's I wanted reviews of...thanks!
Can you please review Sisley Ecological compound moisturiser and Keihl's moisturisers and other products. We would all save a whole chunk of money if you review them please. Lots of love from England xx
Can you do a review on “Always be pure” brand???
im from germany and the way you people pronounce jojoba oil cracks me up everytime
Tabea Richter lmao same. I’m norwegian, and the first few times i heard it i was like hoho-what now ? 😂
You should make a video for the best moisturizer to wear due to face masks!
What can you say about simple products I use facial wash, moisturizer facial wash, light moisturizer, and water micellar
Was been waiting for this one😀
I just moved up north and my face is so freaking dry! I guess the humidity of florida kept my face moist
What happens if we don't apply moisturizer? I feel my skin is oily after applying moisturizer, Can I apply face powder on top of moisturizer??
Hey! As someone with oily skin too, moisturising is still super important for us to do! By not moisturising, your denying your skin of moisture, and your skin will react to the lack of moisturiser by creating more oils! I find that using an oil as a Moisturiser at night, helps my skins oils stay in control
@@JamesWelsh I heard that oils clog our pores causing dust to attract and form pimples, is that statement true?
Hmmmm no not really. Especially the bit about dust! I recommend you watch my video about oils...a few videos back :)
What if I use only Hyaluronic acid for moisturising? Because so far I haven't found any moisturiser that suits my skin 😭
@@hieutrong7130 you can. But if u live in a dry environment, then HA will make you even drier
one of the best dermatologist in the ph said that don't use moisturizer since it keeps the dead skin on the face and its signalling the body to stop hydration
Yeah is this the same one who says to exfoliate everyday?
Yes, it was dr. vicky belo, which is very famous in ph, I recently watched her video. I don't know who to believe anymore lol
