Wicking has caused me to be so frustrated I have asked makesy and the recommendations still does not burn good using CAC from makesy 10% F/O 8oz aura been trying for months. Diameter from makesy is 2.98 in diameter. Any suggestions I use booster .02 .625 can not get a full melt pool I have tried with no scent as well.
We're sorry to hear you're having issues! If you are not getting a full melt pool I would recommend trying a .02 x .75 - if that burns too hot then try and single play .02 x .750 and that should do the trick!
At what temperature do you recommend adding fragrance oil to coconut apricot wax for the best hot and cold throw?
The suggested mix and pour temp to start is anywhere from 180-190 F :)
10% fragrance or more is a waste. My candles throw like crazy using 6%. Makesy just wants you to spend more money by wasting product
Hi Maria! That's wonderful that you're able to get a nice throw with 6%! As stated, every wax and every fragrance will throw differently based on the unique chemical composition. What we recommend is if you're not getting a good throw, to try increasing the load but you don't need to start here. The industry standard is 8-10% typically and that's where we've found most people enjoy their fragrance the best.
