    .I use a Coconut blend. I do not add scents to my tea lights either. I want it easy to do , besides I make it just for me.

    Charlotte and Jeff, I’m brand new to candle making and prior to starting I did a ton of research. I want to thank you both so much. You guys are by far my favorite educators! I have also found great resources on the C.S website, lone star....and a few others. I’m still on the struggle bus. Having difficulty finding my technique, wicks etc. each day I’m getting closer and it’s because of people like you. Educators! I joined a few groups, however, the results of gathering research and education from them have mostly intimidated me at this juncture of my journey. I’m keeping a personal journal of my exact temps, containers and pour temps with photos and data of my outcomes in hope I can help educate as well some day. Charlotte, the setting for this video was esthetically pleasing. Very gorgeous eye catching product neatly lined up in the background! Anyway you both are amazing and thank you again!

    Could you give a more indepth instruction on how to calculate the burn time of the candle? I'm loving the series. I've been making candles for a couple years now and I'm learning a few new things and greatly appreciate it!

    what other wicks can you use for virgin coconut soy blend? Your blend actually :)
    I have been using the Eco Size 14 with regular soy wax and that's been working fine. I am a little nervous to try a new wick I haven't worked with especially since I would like to launch in December for Christmas.

      We suggest wooden wicks for the blend! Crackling Booster .03 specifically. :) Most people use HTP or CD wicks with this blend if choosing cotton!

    What is the cold throw on the coconut soy wax? You said the hot throw is great but nothing about cold throw… I’m looking for something that is good both cold and hot, which do you recommend?

    Does the bees wax coco crème have a strong scent throw ? And is that the only wax that can be used for a massage candle ?

    • @makesyofficial
      @makesyofficial  2 роки тому

      It does! It also has a natural clean almost honey scent to it. Yes, it's currently our only blend that is suitable for massage use.

    I'm thinking of relaunching my candle shop and want to try coconut wax mostly for the hot throw, but your jars are sooo expensive 😫
    The place I usually purchase from is sold out, as well as a lot of other candle supply shops. I usually us straight sided 9 oz candle jars. I'm also looking to switch to wooden wicks.

    What’s the percentage of Coconut Wax and Soy Wax in the Coconut Soy Wax. Is it 10% CW and 90% SW? Thank you so much!

    • @makesyofficial
      @makesyofficial  2 роки тому

      Because it's a proprietary blend we are unable to disclose exact percentages unfortunately.

      We recommend paraffin blends! You'll need a hard wax in order sustain a pillar shape.

    Does coconut wax have a coconut fragrance? Would that affect the fragrance of your candles? I have noticed soy wax tends to have a particular scent to it that tends to bleed through the fragrance oils.
