John what a crazy trip, your life
Big fan great job
I like your idea of using reclaimed wood. I can see you have a great deal of respect for the wood.
Reminds me of an Arts and Crafts furniture piece from the early 1900s. Beautiful.
yea thats becoming my favorite style!
Sharp looking buffet table, finish came out awesome
Thanks Dave
Nice piece
I like the roughness well done!
Its a lovely looking piece
Thank you!
it looks very good man!
I think you ROSED to occasion! haha Nice work.
very cool!
enjoyed and learnt a lot here John, thanks as always for sharing
Youre welcome thank you!
so far so good and we all srew up sometime.
Looks good John! Watching you work reminds how badly I need a dust collection system in my shop when I do wood. I have a cedar cabinet on the bench now (next Friday's video) and my shop is covered in sawdust...at least it smells good.
Yea dust collection is key. I absolutely hate having dust everywhere. Im working on fixing mine now
Awesome build! I've never seen anyone put the panels together like that. I like the idea. It seems like it's a much stronger technique than attaching face frames after the fact.
Totally Awesome ☠️👍⭐️🎸⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Awesome video, new subscriber
Very nice! The top piece of door frame is called a rail and the way I remember that is the horizontal piece is like a hand rail. Hope that helps!
Nice! great tip thanks
Awesome. I"m about to build an entertainment center/record holder in this same style. What stain did you use, if you don't mind me asking?
otimo trabalho
The figuring that came out on the drawer fronts was fantastic. You just don't get that on new lumber.
Agreed, Love how this one turned out
nice cabinet. what was that speed set glue you were using for glueup of the panels?
i had an old timer teach me how remember which is which with stiles and rails.
stiles go up and down...just like the style of women's dresses...the hemline goes up and down with the style. kind of corny but when a 75 year old man talks about women in short skirts i kind chuckled.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
I've seen that you have plans for the reclaimed bookshelf with the barn doors. Do you have plans for this?
I do not. This was way too custom for a plan. Someday i might do some cabinet plans
Looks good! What material did they use for the top?
Blue stone
