"do you ever feel,
like a soap bubble
drifting through the sea
wanting to start again"
🥰
Ok Squiddy Perry! Get it, gurl!
Sarah has such a magical delivery with these videos, and her wonderful clear voice is so refreshing for this hard of hearing old git who normally has to rely on captions to know what's going on. Thank you Sarah!
Most definitely!
I was think the exact opposite lol and muted the video and turned on the captions 😂 but this channel has interesting animal stuff so I can't just leave haha
@@anti-ant2162 Thank you for sharing this! It reminded me that different hearing issues can result in the same sound being perceived very differently between people, it's too easy for me to assume that everyone's experiences with hearing impairment are the same as mine, so your comment is a timely reminded to check my assumptions!!
I didn't realize that squids were so varied! I've never seen the super clear ones or the feathery ones
**New favorite sea creature unlocked**
Squid? That's a mythical bean moose.
I just met the piglet squid and I would do anything for them
I love this deep ocean Bizarre Beast series. The only suggestion I would like to make is to add a scale to the videos or at least describe the dimensions of these bizarre beasts, as it is not clear whether these squids were tiny or moderate in size in the videos. Especially the gold tailed one, it appeared to have lengthened its tail during the threat display.
Sarah, you are so damn good at this. I love the 'Transparent' pun.
Thank you so much! Also, credit where credit is due: Our Writer/Editorial Director, Dr. Darcy Shapiro is incredibly good at her job.

"There are many different ways to be a squid."
YOU'RE A KID NOW, YOU'RE A SQUID NOW, YOU'RE A KID, YOU'RE A SQUID
I don't know why but I wanna call this series something like "Calm Tides" because every video like this makes me feel so relaxed 😌
They are impossibly cute
cuddley-fish
squidbuddy :3
Bet they're tasty :D
@@_Yazeed_ they are
See that? That's the LIFE
To simply float away in the *V~O~I~D~*
I'm blown away with how capable, powerful, and aware of it's surroundings as some squids are. The Humboldt squid's aren't the biggest but they have displayed very aggressive behaviors towards divers and the divers were blown away with the strength and abilities that the squid had and it's beak mouth can even damage shark proof body suits. Which should show the potential of the power of any other larger squid's? The vampire squid, the googly eyed stubby squid, the giant squid and collosal squid are awesome. Cuttlefish too. That's not even mentioning how awesome octopi are.
the piglet squid is so cute!
Forget velvet worms, I want to be a piglet squid!
I love this series with Sarah doing the voiceover in a mystical and ethereal manner. They're educational and interesting but low-energy enough to watch in the evening while I'm winding down my day. Reminds me of Hank's delivery of Journey to the Microcosmos!
I'm really loving these super chill bonus episodes
a little bit size relaxation moment in my day whenever these pop up!
One of my favourite groups of critters both squid and octopus
The intro of “there are many different ways to be a squid” feels like you’re reassuring an insecure cephalopod that it’s doing ok even if it doesn’t look like other squids
“I shall call you squishy”
THanks for this great video! Loved the storytelling so much you make the footage really come to life ^^
Thank you for such a cute, calm and educational video!
I love squid. I would have loved if this video had of been much longer.
*had been
I love squid, too, depending on how they are prepared they are delicious.
Dear Sarah, your voice is so soothing. My puppy sighed and relaxed just after I started this video playing. :)
I like these just as much, if not more, than the monthly main episodes. Beautiful
I'd love to see a video on flying squid. If there's anything more bizarre than a fish jumping out of the water and soaring majestically through the air, it's probably a squid doing just that, but somehow with slightly more style.
I’m surprised you guys didn’t mention the Magnapinna squid I hope you’ll be giving it its own episode then
these videos are so soothing.
SQUIDS RULE!!!
Cool, and the funny thing is, there are so many more types of squid out there.
squid: "what's this strange creature?"
* after a minute looking at the vehicle*
"hmm I cannot tell... might as well just go away and carry on with my day... my wife wouldn't believe me anyways..."
Squid are my favourite marine creatures.
Love how calm and poetic that was!
Here's lookin' at you, squid.
the piglet squid is actually so adorable omg
This is lovely and calming, I’m listening to it again to help me relax for sleep
I absolutely love these videos!
love the new peaceful, chill mode.
what a lovely calming video!!
Amazing video!!! The narration, images, script, information everyhting in balance!!!!!!!😍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I just love see images from deep sea creatures!!!!!!
AMAZING VIDEO THANK YOU LOVE U BIZZARE BEASTS!!
I'm so happy we get both types of eppisodes
I only wish these videos were longer
Definitely putting this on my guided meditation Playlist
I do like these midmonth interlude videos.
Still the best series on UA-cam. This video nearly made me cry.
I can't be the only one who wants to boop the piglet squid's "snoot", right?
yes but... what about GIANT squid?
show us the GIANT SQUID! show us the GIANT SQUID! show us th

Beautiful calm and deep voice
They all look delicious.
Thank you for this video.
I love this!
It was like I was listening to guided meditation ❤️
what a whimsical creepy meditation :) love it.

When I saw an UFO on the night of August 5th 2018, my reaction was the same as the piglet squid's.
Very cool footage!
I can envision a future where tattoo artists can program a tattoo with squid DNA … and then you have video tattoos.
* looks down at his plate of calamari and frowns *
i like cuttlefish. they are the cutest of the cephalopods.
I am so happy you guys are covering deep sea life. They are bizarre beasts
Endlessly fascinating🦑
I love these squids ❤️❤️❤️
Does the ROV use the lasers to help calculate it's camera focus? Or is that for safety distance and other measurements? Feather squid clip was trippy. I figured out it was guiding lasers on the next clip with the pigglet
The lasers are for calculating size underwater!
"ROV Hercules is equipped with a set of green laser beams set parallel and 10 centimeters apart. This tool is important because water refraction makes objects underwater appear larger (up to 33% larger!) than they would in the air. The lasers allow ocean explorers to measure the size of organisms and ocean features."

such relaxing videos that are so informative.
Really enjoying the deep sea episodes. wish they'd told us how big these squids get, not much to use for scale in the sea.
Piglet squid be Unbothered. Moisturized. Happy. In my lane. Focused. Flourishing.
Look at them goobers!
Nature always surprise me
That was surreal
WOW!
I remember the Cuttlefish of Cthulhu.
If you have not heard of it, please do not look it up. There are some things you will wish you never saw.
Oderus Urungus has returned to his home planet, leaving a cosmic void. Many miss you Oderus. Many still fear you.
But, where is the Cuttlefish of Cthulhu? Find your way home, dear cuttlefish.
2:20 Run lil guy, that's a predator!!
Squids are the best! Octopuses are awesome and get a lot of (well deserved) credit for their behaviour and intelligence. But when you start to focus on diversity and life strategies squids are absolutelly fantastic
If you've ever played Morrowind before, these are literally baby Sload
I want a piglet squid pin so bad.
I’ll leave this here. insert a reference about game with these animals here
Omg, I thought the green laser does were eyes 👀 😂
Were all living soap bubbles with our phospholipid bilayer cell membranes
❤
Squid Squad
the piglet squid seems more like a rudolf squid
These under sea videos are way BETTER than the regular videos with Hank! 🐳🐋🐬🐟🐠🐡🐙🐙🐙🐙
We just had squid for dinner. This is convenient.
Yay! More marine biology asmr!
Petition for Sarah to start an ASMR Channel?
Splatoon 3 lookin a lil weird
3:05 what do you suppose it’s trying to mimic?
The piglet is adorable but why put the tentacles on your head??
They look like a reindeer balloon
Soap bubble...
Water balloon...
... feather.
4:23 Arrivederci,
Sayonarancia.
*Volare via!*
00:20 what is this animal? Its so cute!
Nvm lol maybe I had to check the rest of the video first
You're a kid now you're a squid now
Are you squidding me?
the ocean is wack as hell man
Bizarre?
tentacles as hair
pretty lady ❤
This is fun but too slow for me. And changing the speed controls for one video is not fun on my tv.
I wonder why that squid uses ink if it cannot even be seen at those depths? Unless it’s bioluminescent? I don’t know..
Missed the school day about "Overly Flowery Language" didn't you...?
squids 😤
The plural of squid is NOT SQUIDS it is squid Just like sheep. Not to mention octopusses., good grief it is octopi. If you wish to teach first you must learn.
"Squids" is a perfectly acceptable alternative and "octopus" has three different valid plurals. Just because you're the one complaining doesn't make you the arbiter of what the 'right' and 'wrong' method is.
@@denpadolt9242The word ‘Squids’ is used to refer to a plural number of species of squids. Otherwise, it is just ‘Squid’.
😍Sarah😘
