      I felt the same way a few years ago Sharon! Then after using Swarovski crystal pearls, I realized how beautiful they compliment other stones. Of course the real thing is stunning! So glad you’ve grown to love them as well🌺

    Thanks Stephanie for your super speedy response, you are my beading Hero! I'm putting in an order right after this text to you. I did ck Fusion a couple of times they must have gotten some 4mm montee's in , when I ck they didn't have them only 6mm. So... yaaay, I'm really excited. I made two crystal bling bracelets in the bronze and nickel plated both turned out beautiful! Thanks so much for your time, talent, and fun tutorials. Now time to place my order! Again, thank you Have a great summer day! :) (Beautiful today here in MN.)

      You are most welcome Summer! I'm glad they had the montees for you! I just received some nickel plated beads (my new favorite) to use for a bead embroidery bracelet. I can't wait to use them - nice alternative to the bright silver in some projects! If you get a chance, post your Bling Bracelet on my Facebook page. I'd love to see it :)

    I was so excited to get all the beads in for this project! Made it and it looks fabulous 💍💍💍💍. I bought a variety of pearls and montes so I will be making a few of these rings. It was a very easy tutorial to follow and as usual you are a great teacher. Thanks so much for this tutorial! I'd post pics of all my completed jewelry but I hate FB 😕😕😕and I'm not on it. Tempted to get it just to see all the things made from our bead box subscription.

    Finally got all the materials for Crazy for Pearls Ring and made it just like the original one you made and absolutely love it. The top of it seems loose but I went around it just like you said and because of the 3mm bicones you can't go around too many times. Those Crystal Metallic Light Gold 2x are just beautiful. I plan to make it with Crystal Labrador but I have to order beads....it takes exactly 60 which I don't always have on hand. Thanks for the great video and keep them coming.

      Thank you Jana💕 I'm so glad you made the ring! Try switching to a size 12 beading needle to get in to those tight spots😄 You could even go to a 6lb fireline on your next one🌷🌷🌷 Love those light gold bicones- they're my favorite! Enjoy your ring and have a wonderful holiday season💚💜💛

    I so enjoy watching your videos! There are a lot of "how to" videos to make beaded rings with crystals and other beads. But for me most of them are too large. I especially enjoy your smaller rings and I was wondering if you would consider uploading a video on several more ring designs? Thank you so much and keep up the very good work!😊

      Oh yea, I also wanted to ask, what do u think would be a good alternative to the montee? I've never had them before. I wonder if I should just omit it or should I add something eles. Like a 4mm pearl, A Crystal, firepolish..?.. Humm... Lol.. Your so great at creating😍that maybe u could help me think of somethin. 😃 ~ ❤

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  9 років тому

      +rebeccajns Thanks rebecca! I am glad you like the ring! It really is easier than the tutorial - my hands weren't in the mood to work with tiny beads last night haha You could leave out the montee or try a small crystal. The montee works well because of the criss cross back. I hardly ever use montees although I have several colors in my stash! You might have to break down and order a dozen or so just to have in your stash when you might need one! happy Thanksgiving to you and yours :)

    G'Day My Wonderful Friend, Love this pretty yet chic ring and I love all the colours but I think the one you made on the video is just a head on votes as my no. 1 choice. The great thing about your designs is that they are "so" inter changeable and that is a big plus. I am so glad that you put up a video today as wanted to wish you and your family ....including Andrew and Bernie a wonderful, warm and happy "Thanks Giving" for Thursday (our Friday, I hope that I got the right day). The thought of a day of such feeling, sharing and feasting is truly magical. I wish that here in OZ that we shared that day with you. I can only imagine what it must be like... and if I were to share that day with you I would bring some thing to the table that brought a little bit of OZ and of myself and that would be.... A Pav (Pavlova)... a lovely bed of Meringue, a layer of whipped cream and topped with a fruit salad made of pineapple, blueberries, peaches strawberries, bananas, mango, grapes and pears and then lots of drizzly passion fruit all over the fruit with chopped cherries and hazelnuts to finish it off. Not quiet the "Pumpkin Pie" and cream but a little more on the wicked side of dessert. I will be thinking of you as you feast away the day.... and I will be there in spirit.......XXOOX

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  9 років тому

      +Chris Phillips Awww Chris you are so sweet!!! And you are invited to dinner (bring that pavlova) Thanksgiving is a special holiday for us. We cook together while drinking a little mulled wine and chatter and argue over who gets the oven first! My boys make their famous Scalloped Potatoes (sliced spuds, lots of heavy cream, cheese and spices, all bubbly and brown fro the oven) YUMMY!!! Friends and family sometimes drop by for dessert - its just a great family time together. We are certainly thankful that we have each other and have spent 35 Thanksgivings together) (28 with the boys ) One time I roasted chestnuts and they exploded in the oven. I think we ate takeout that night lol!!! I have much more to be thankful for and that is the loving friendships I have made through this beading channel! I never thought when I started it that I would meet such fine people and make such lovely and creative friends as you me dear Chris :) Happy Pavlova Day XOXOX

    • @chrisphillips1893
      @chrisphillips1893 9 років тому

      +Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry It's time to wriggle my nose and click my heels three times together and I should be there with Pav in my arms and be in time to enjoy those mouth watering Scalloped Potatoes. I can almost smell them cooking !!!! What wonderful lads you have... they sound like mine.... they cook as well for Christmas. Are they twins and what are their names? I have now declared the 26th of Nov (which will be our 27th)... Happy Pavlova Day and I will have a piece (you can buy small ones ready made) and give thanks for my blessings and also think of you all feasting together. One of my blessing that I will be grateful for will be for the friendships that I have found on the Beading Channel too. I feel so much a part of yours and other beading members family and very greatful for the wonderful and caring friends that I have made on the beading Channel as well as learning from some very amazing talented ladies who have helped me in so many ways with encouragement and support .... saying a simple "Thank You seems so little in return. I would like to hear all about the "Great Feasting Day" ... Blessings XXOOX

      +Chris Phillips When I wrote above my computer and I were having some very sad moments (and I was saying some very sad words) as it would not let me correct my work without deleting words ahead of my corrections. It should read...Families not Family and I know that greatful is spelled grateful. Not sure as to how to fix it but I will try and work it out......I may throw it out the back door as it is still doing it!!!!!!!!!!

      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  9 років тому

      +Chris Phillips So well said that I can't think of a thing to add other than I am so glad I found you Chris and that we have become beading sisters! Yes, my boys are twins, 28 years old! I love Happy Pavlova Day!!! I must find a recipe and make it. I will post a picture on FaceBook haha for you to inspect (since you won't be able to taste it unless your Ruby Slippers transport you here) The Wizard of Oz is my all time fav movie since I was a child and I have always wanted a pair of ruby slippers of my own!!! Don't throw your computer out the back door - it's our only means of communication and think of all the beads you could buy with the money it would cost to fix it!!!!
      I will update you on "The great feasting day" once I wake up from my turkey and stuffing induced slumber. be well my dear and keep on beading!!!

    Hi Stephanie! Oh my goodness dear sweet beading sister! Thank you so much for another beautiful ring project Even though I have Rheumatoid Arthritis really bad I still love rings! I think beautiful rings can be a distraction from the not so beautiful. diagnosed at 21yrs. old, 38yrs. ago. I love rings this will be easy enough for me to make, and I think to possibly wear! :-) plus I have everything in my stash of beads to do while visiting cousin that broke neck! stop at home put beads in a small jewelry tote, change clothes I'm all set. oh cousin wants someting manly in leather...hmmmm any ideas? so thank you again my sweet beading sister, and my you and your family have a safe and the best Thanksgiving ever with, laughter, and wonderful, stories to share and memories to make. Stephanie, have you ever had a problem with your thread breaking when you use bicones? I have been having trouble with things that are made with bicones and the thread breaks after my project is done. I want to be clear, I have never had trouble with your designs they are fabulous. What are your thoughts about crystals and thread breaking?

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  9 років тому

      Hi Dana😄 Bicones crystals often break thread because of their sharp edges as you know. I find that Swarovski bicones are smoother around the holes so I don't have a breakage problem. I often put a seed bead between bicones if I can so the thread is somewhat protected. Too many passes through the thread can cause the thread to weaken and fray as well. A viewer suggested to use 3mm firepolish on the band of this ring (for comfort as bicones can be scratchy) which is a great idea and would pretty much eliminate the band breaking in the future! I hope this helps💜

    I hope you answer this: I'd like to know id I could use elastic thread for the ring part - the part that goes behind your finger. Reason why I ask is because my fingers swell a lot during the day especially in the summer. Please answer as soon as you can.

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  5 років тому

      I haven’t tried it but I say go for it. If that doesn’t work then try the Nozue Sonoko thread which is a more stretchy beading thread. Not as stretchy as elastic though 🌻

      Hi Maggie💖 Sorry about the confusion!!! The 3mm bicone is Metallic Light Gold 2x and Firemountain Gems sells them I just checked for you!

      Okay. Thanks. I missed looking at Firemountaingems because I'm always looking for a deal elsewhere. lol! I watch ALL your videos several times each because I love your work as well as the way you teach. Thanks again for taking the time to answer my question.

    Just wondering if you think using bicones in a ring band is uncomfortable? I usually use fire polished 3mm for more comfort.

      Yes using bicones could be uncomfortable but the 11/0 seed bead along the edge help that. I don't have a problem with the bicones but your firepolished beads would probably be more comfortable💚💜💛

    hmmmm i don't own a single 3mm bicone lol.. so i am going to try to incorporate 2mm grr i think they are faceted rounds or close to. there are two different type of beads that i always confuse one for the other. we will see :) i'll tey it and post it to your FB page. Thanx Stephanie. hugs xoxo

      +christina Batten-Snyder Hi christina! I love that you are trying other beads with this pattern. I am looking forward to seeing it. I am also position the other ring (I think you liked that one if I'm not mistaken) sometime today or tonight. Either way thanks for your creativity - love that ;)

    • @xLilGypsyGrlx
      @xLilGypsyGrlx 9 років тому

      yep i really liked the other ring as well :) ive done the earrings so far with the monofilament, can't wait to do the rings :).. a lil thing I do different as well is with some projects i use a very small embroidery needle, works very good with monofilament easier to get through the eye of the needle, only small issue is the needle does not bend..Use those a lot with my cross-stitch work.kk off to doc apt. will start on these tonight lol.. have a great day hon and ty soooo much for the inspiration. Hugs

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  9 років тому

      Using a needle with monofilament is a great idea! I don't use monofilament much but will try to use it more as it would help keep some projects stiff when fireline doesn't. I love cross-stitch! I don't know how to do it but love the art form. So pretty :) You have a wonderful day my sweet beading sister and have fun with the ring!

    Hi Stephanie. Nice ring ! Can I use a 6mm rondel ? Love your tip about the thread. Keep them coming ! Lol have a great n blessed thanksgiving .

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  9 років тому

      +Katherine Martinez Hi Katherine! I don't think a rondelle would sit properly and a lot of thread would show. Try just the first part without the band and see how it looks . I give it a try too ;) Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours :)

    Hi Stephanie, I love this ring but I can't find the Swarovski dark gold 2x bicones anywhere. Actually cant find that color in any size. I've been looking for several months. (I've checked fusionbeads.com, beadaholique.com, Potomac, shipwreck, etc...) I can find light gold 2x, but not dark gold 2x. Same thing with the 4mm crystal silver shade montee. I can find 6mm, not 4mm. I really love your ring really want to make in the dark gold. So may I ask where did you purchase your supplies at? I appreciate any help you can give. Thanks Stephanie. And as always love, love, love, your vids. :)

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  8 років тому

      Hi Summer🌻 The 3mm bicones are light gold 2x (I must have misspoke on the video) The materials are always in the description box below the video. I usually put corrections to the tut and other info there. Fusion beads has the 4mm silver shade bicones, I just checked. One other thing - a few viewers used firepolished beads for the band because the bicones were a bit scratchy. It doesn't bother me to use the bicones but I thought I mention it.

      Doris Gonzalez Hi Doris 😃 It is a Montee stone. It is a Swarovski 4mm crystal encased in a metal base. Most bead websites have them.

      +Martha Leighton I’m very tough on my needles! I hear Tulip needles are strong. I use Pony as they bend instead of breaking. However, bending is pain too 😆
