    Swapping out an 11/0 for the central 2 mm fire polished bead works perfectly for non swarovski chatons. It also keeps the inside of the ring fr0om scratching as it is put on. Thanks so much for your customizing options! I am learning so much!!

    So pretty and so very, very Elizabethan! Worthy of my favourite out of all our Queens - Elizabeth I although have great respect for QEII as well. I think you’ll need to call your book ‘Renaissance’, it would really complement your beautiful work. 🥰🥰🥰

    Just finished this ring in Majestic Blue. Umph-umph-umph. Whew! Absolutely beautiful, just like the video. Some pieces look great in photos/videos, not so much in person. Not so here. It's magnificent in person, on the finger. And this piece was a lot of fun to make, I'll add. Don't know why. Just enjoyed every stitch of this. Thank you for this, Bronze.

    Hi Stephanie...very cute ring. I would like to make one for my granddaughters but wonder if I can use smaller pearls and maybe firepolish instead of bicones for little fingers? Would that mess up the beautiful design? Just wondering🐈. I love the smaller stone for everyday wear. Very pretty design. Thank you!
    Dena

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  3 роки тому

      Thank you Dena😊 If you use smaller beads you will have to use a smaller Chaton as well. This could work but would need a bit of work to do it. You can play with it by using less beads for a smaller bezel and 15/0’s maybe.

    so I pushed the limit and played 3 times which was the charm for me....needless to say I got away with using a 2.8mm faceted bead from Michaels instead of a 2mm fire polish because it was all I had LOL. I feel like it really pushed the 15/0's and the 3mm bugles together up top for security and went around about 3 times to make sure it was set. Thanks Stephanie! :)

  • @imsodone4309

    I’ve tried this 3 times. My stone will not stay in. My fire polish is a size 2, not a true two.I’m not sure about my bugle bead. The size isn’t listed on the tube- but seems to be close in size to the fire polish in comparison to the beads on the video. When it’s all tightened at the end- the center 15/0 in the corners does Not pop out like yours is. I’m thinking that’s where the problem is- but I don’t know why

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  3 роки тому +1

      It’s probably the 2mm firepolished bead. Some 2mm firepolished are closer to 3mm. That is why I specify the True 2’s. You can message a picot’s Bronzepony Facebook page and I’ll take a look.

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  3 роки тому +1

      Good morning 🌞 Miyuki Delica beads are cylinder shaped beads and Miyuki Round Seed beads are regular seed beads. Each one is used depending on the pattern. Delicas are often used for bezels and peyote pieces but not exclusively. Search on Google for both so you see a picture of the difference. Hope this helps🌸

    Can I substitute a 2mm bicone for the fire polish? Or another bead size?

    Hi Steph. Hope you are well. I tried this but my PC chatons ss39 8mm is swimming in the bazel. I tried from beginning again and ended up with the same result. Could you please advice? Cheers.

      I’m well thank you. Hope you are too🌸 Are you using all the materials and brands I specify in the materials list? Miyuki seeds, 3mm bugles, True2’s etc? You can message a picture to Bronzepony Facebook page and I’ll take a look if you like.

      @@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry hi, I am well thank you. Thank you for the reply. Yes, I am using all material exactly the same. I blamed the Potomac crystal chaton 🙃. So I tried for the fifth 😁 and it is work better. I think because I tried to tighten the base where those pearls are and seem a bit curving before adding the square to hold the crystal. But I will try using Swarovski chaton after this. Thank you. Your videos are very inspirational.
