Hearing Caleb go from screaming and outright SOBBING during "I Have A Problem" to hearing him WOO in this song is so healing as a listener. I'm so happy for him ❤
Please continue down this Rabbit hole, sooo many great songs, even the older ones. Very talented group, Caleb Shomo writes great songs and music. Older stuff has a little more hard core scream stuff, however, fits the song and music! Older songs hit home with younger groups because the songs are about a lot of their reality, sad but good.
Now that yall have heard Caleb's first sober song he has wrote yall have to go back to the song "In Between" and start the journey to see where Riptide comes from
Caleb is an amazing human 💕 The version of “Clever” he did during The Blackbird Sessions he breaks down at the end of the song. He’s so brave about showing his struggles and emotions 💕
So, Beartooth. Lead Singer Caleb Shomo has always used the band to express his mental state. As such the majority of their early albums focused on depression and anxiety, and he always made it a point not to hold anything back. It was both a way for Caleb to vocalize what he was going through, literally, and for the fans to connect by hearing exactly what they were going through put to music. But now, as Caleb is working on bettering himself, and turning 30, he's using Beartooth's 5th album as a transition into a new era. They start it off with their "Backstreet Boys/N*SYNC inspired" version of a pop song. Taken from an article on NME when the single released.
Would love to see a Disease album reaction by them. That album is all about Caleb's depression and fighting through that and this is the first release after. It's amazing
This band has become one if my absolute favorites! They have something for every emotion and, like you said, the lyrics just have a way of speaking. If you get a chance to see them in a smaller indoor venue, do it! They are great in arenas too but the energy they give off is fantastic in the smaller setting! MORE BEARTOOTH PLEASE!!
I have been waiting for you guys to react to this one! It has been on my playlist since it was released. I knew you guy would love Beartooth. Please go down the rabbit hole! Great reaction as usual guys!
I've been hearing this song on Apple music for months and didn't realize that Beartooth is the artist that does this song, I' really like this song, I'm gonna have to go and pick up whichever album this song is on. Great reaction guys
He is an ABSOLUTELY MADMAN live. Just non stop energy. Gets a full blown workout each show because of how wild he is. Hes spinning and dancing and jumping everywhere.
So, so glad you guys finally reacted to this one! This song convinced me to get some much needed medical treatments in the fall and I appreciate this band for helping me make that decision - just like Caleb, it was "the last time I romanticize the riptide that's trying to drown me." You mentioned wanting to hear them live - Beartooth released a live version of this song (professionally done) if you're interested 💜
@@melaniejordan1199 Isn't music incredible? While this is a condition I will always live with, the difference is staggering in a positive direction. Thanks for much for your kind words 💜
I’m obSESSED with this song!!! These lyrics pulled me out of a pretty dark place. I love how open and relatable Caleb Shomo is. Thanks for doing this one!
Beartooth filmed the live video at their Columbus show. I’ve gotten autographs on like 3/4 of the albums. A MUST see band!! Just like ADTR or falling in reverse
Great reaction (like always). Yes, Beartooth is from Columbus, OH and you are correct that they are playing at Sonic Temple in Columbus over Memorial Day weekend this year. I saw them at INKcarceration in 2021 and they are incredible live!
I saw them live yesterday in munich and they are just awsome. They are even better live because you just get that energy of them loving to perform infront of a crowd
Sick Puppies are amazing too! The way they put Howard's Tale together was great, and the story it tells is both heartbreaking, enraging, and incredibly creepy.
I’ve seen beartooth 4 times live and will never pass up on seeing them when they come around. Been to over 60 shows total and beartooth is easily one of the top performers I’ve seen
I'm telling you man Beartooth got better and better and better, and I've really enjoyed what they do, if you're looking for something including Shomo i would recommend Black Hole by We Came as Romans, another solid banger, and another solid group.
That Beartooth flavour is truly unique. I recommend the Sick EP; a very dark album but so necessary to explain the journey that culminates in this music video. Me love, you guys are awesome 🫶🏻
You guys are hella talented. I appreciate the work you do and the energy that you bring to your reactions! It’s been a rough few weeks, but you guys have helped me through a tough time. Thank you! 🙏
Beartooth is indeed playing Sonic Temple (formerly Rock on the Range) in Columbus in May this year. They absolutely fuck live, can't wait to see this new energy on stage
This song is actually a very big change in motion for Bearooth (Caleb specifically) older Bearooth is him battling depression and mental health, but this song is about finally fighting back and improving on himself, which is why I think he's shirtless in this as well, he's showing off the changes he's made, he's lost a lot of weight and put on more muscle, he's looking fantastic these days and I cannot wait for their new material, this song 100% shows his improvement in his mental state as well as physical.
I have tickets to a concert this May Beartooth, Dorthy, Falling in Reverse, and Disturbed. How am I going to survive, I’m getting old. At least I will die happy.
That’s a great lineup. Hope you survived! Age is just a number, I rarely ever act my age. Just saw them a few days ago and felt and acted about 40 years younger. Cheers!
We drove to Columbus from Michigan to catch Beartooths hometown show last year at Kemba Live. It was one of the best shows of my life. The band was on fire and they literally had fire on stage and the ROOF of the stage. They also put on a fireworks display. It was a once in a lifetime night. The band released a live video of Riptide from the evening. Would love a Real Super Dark reaction from Waterparks =]
Beartooth is playing at Sonic Temple memorial day weekend in Columbus. Same day as Bad Omens, Tool, Bullet for my Valentine. Guys should definitely look into it
Caleb used to be in a band back in the day called Attack Attack. I listened to them in highschool. They have a song called The wretched that is really good. Been listening to him since then. He's amazing!
You guys are just rocking these! So glad I stumbled on you bros! You remind me of me and my best friend back in Ohio. Just a couple bros loving music and getting people excited about it!
try "I have a problem" it would be cool to see the difference on how Caleb was feeling in the past , I recommend a lyric video.. I think its one of their heaviest song.. filled with emotions , sadness and anger.. amazing , give it a listen guys you won't regret it
I can't wait to see these guys in Tampa, fl at our radio stations rock fest. Them, falling in reverse, breaking Benjamin, dorothy, new years day, pretty reckless, bad wolves and famme on fire!!!!!!
You should check out I Have A Problem next!! It's the first song that Caleb wrote for beartooth and is probably the heaviest song in their whole discography
I’m seeing the live with Falling in Reverse, Dorothy, Breaking Benjamin and the Pretty Reckless April 29! This song is badass!! I’m super stoked! Also let me just say, “We get it Ronnie, you can music!!!” 🤘
INK lineup is out and they are not on it. Not shocked since they were there in '21 and are playing Sonic 6 weeks earlier, but I wouldn't cry if they managed to make a surprise appearance 😏😁
Beartooth is an awesome band great song.METAL BROTHER KYLE WHERE WOULD I FIND ME A T SHIRT LIKE YOURS THX FOR ANY INFO also can you two look into a band called EPICA the song is called CONSIGN TO OBLIVION live at the ZENITH IN PARIS.LAST BUT NOT LEAST BROTHER HIP HOP LOVE YOUR DRINKING MUGS take care
You guys should react to XG. Starting with Chill Bill, Galz Xypher, the vocal covers and then their singles (tip toe, mascara, Shooting Star, and Left Right). They’re all Japense, but they trained and are promoting in Korea but their singles are full English. They’re trying to be a girl group comparable to Spice Girls, rather than boxing themselves in Jpop or Kpop. You’d appreciate them. Probably one of the most versatile and well rounded groups out there.
Hearing Caleb go from screaming and outright SOBBING during "I Have A Problem" to hearing him WOO in this song is so healing as a listener. I'm so happy for him ❤
He did another lil woo in might love myself. Ngl one of my favorite parts lol
@Frosty-gb5ik This was the best possible way to find out they released another song
Fucking same. Seeing his journey has been AMAZING. First band I ever saw live and fell in love with them then
Please continue down this Rabbit hole, sooo many great songs, even the older ones. Very talented group, Caleb Shomo writes great songs and music. Caleb is incapable of writing a bad song. He is SO good. Always so catchy and a great message

When you guys said tattoo worthy, it made me smile. I got the art for this single tattooed on my left leg!
This is his first wrote sober and you can’t completely tell how happy he is now! I’m in love with this new happy direction lol

Honestly one of the best reactions! You got a subscriber today.
They are going to be in St. Augustine, FL with Falling In Reverse and Bad Wolves. If I was able to go I would have.
It's in April. And when they wrote this the lead singer had gotten sober and just started running marathons.
I wish you saw his speeches about depression and suicide before the song 'Disease', it's so heartbreaking especially if you can relate
