First off - my apologies for my poor fast forwarding skills. I PROMISE To improve! LOL! I show you how I decorate some Rolodex cards that I am swapping with a friend.
Thx, for the creating journey! Love Rolodex (always used a big round one on my desk:) and enjoy memorydex as well! Fun to play with for crafts. I’ve made a couple of altered books, which are. Similar, but very different really. All lots of fun! Be well, from Terry Y in Texas
Hey, I loved when you said I’m a tinker of many things and master of none. I’m glad to hear that myself, because I’ve got so many ideas from junk journals, mixed media, crafting, painting furniture...etc, etc. I just picked up a Rolodex card holder to play with, so your video is timely. 💕🇨🇦
I love this Ronda. I just became a subscriber so have been looking for past videos by you and oh how happy I am that I did. I will be making some Rolodex cards with a Christmas theme as I am making Gingerbread Journals even though it is February lol.
I because I live on a fixed income but also love to craft absolutely love going to thrift stores second-hand shops yard sales sometimes you will find brand new craft items quite often in the thrift store you will find paper Rolodex cards all kinds of things sometimes even rubber stamps that are still in great shape ribbons and you will find them at a fraction of cost compared to stores I also ask my neighbors for old catalogs and magazines to cut images out of. Also sometimes I will look in the gently Throne recycle bin you'll find magazines catalogs cardboard bubble wrap and other things that would make great texture for when you are doing jelly print or other paint techniques
I have a bunch of rolodex cards that I couldn't figure out what to do with. So while listening to you and watching parts I worked on some of my own. I am thrilled with the background. I was experimenting with india ink and the paint. Haven't quite worked out where I'm going from here, but I will eventually. Thanks so much for sharing. You are hilarious! Loved listening and watching the show. :-)
Ronda without an "H" your hilarious !!! I just adore you !! And I love what you did with those Rolodex cards !! I remember those cards . God I am old LOL I want to find one of those so I can try this project :-)
Love these, Ronda! I've just found a small Rolodex with cards at thrift store, so looking to make some art on them....thanks for showing your great process!!!!!
I didn't think your fast forwarding looked bad - I was especially happy there wasn't fast forwarded talking bits, that can be so distracting! I may not have introduced myself before, I'm Kathe with an "e" :-) Your cards are beautiful!
Nice to meet you Kathe with an "e"! :) What a fun spelling...makes me think of Anne Shirley spelled with an "e". You are soo kind...the fast forwarding is a whole new learning curve for me...and this took "forever" to figure out and get ready to publish, but hopefully I have the basic structure now...whew! Have a great day!
That's a great idea...I have two rolodex holders and 2 sets of cards...on my 2nd set, I'm putting names and addresses of those with whom I swap with or receive happy mail from...have a great day Lisa!!
Shirley you are such a sweetie!! I was sooo traumatized by my poor fast forwarding skills and such that I completely forgot to share that I also stamped some flowers, cut around them, and glued them on...that's what I think you're referring to? This was way above my pay grade! LOL!
Pinterest, for some...you can google free flower images and see what it brings up...I also use a lot of images I've purchased from Graphics Fairy, and other digital producers from Etsy.

@@RondaWinsteadRondawithoutanHYou are welcome! I really liked how you taped all the cards together. That would also work for icad's or atc's.

Beautiful! What computer program do you use?
What computer program? I'm not sure what you mean? Call me "thick"...or it's late...lol!
