We ran out of money after a repair and a puncture. On our way home we camped in gardens and in the corners of football pitches. People are friendly. We lived off a baguette the last two days, but we don't envy you Generation Zers. After 5000 km we had a big lunch when we could finally withdraw money in our home country. THAT was a proper motorcycle holiday. LOL.

Your videography was top-notch. I backpacked in Yosemite many years ago and loved it. I have also ridden motorcycles and there is nothing like it. I'm so glad you enjoyed your trip overall and I will keep an eye out for more videos from you.
I enjoyed the series and appreciate you sharing your adventure. Yosemite is intriguingly only a four-hour drive from our home. Although we've camped there for the past seventeen years, I've never ventured there on a motorcycle. Each year, as we drive home after a week of camping, I find myself saying, "I need to take a motorcycle ride up there." Your video has inspired me to finally set a date and do it. You were fortunate to have such beautiful weather; I've just come back from a ten-day motorcycle journey through the southern part of Canada, starting in Vancouver, BC, and riding along Route 3, which was gorgeous.

@@CourtneyScarlettMoto Living in the Bay Area for 9 years now. I spent four days in the Sierra foothills in late October this year. Into Yosemite and all the passes to the eastern side and back. So many amazing roads. Your F850 GS would open up so much more riding in that area.

A very nice documentary about your trip to California. It was nice to ride with you. America is so big and beautiful. I was in Florida Daytona for Bike Week in 2016 and it was fantastic. Maybe we'll see each other in Germany, it's a small world :) I`m from east Germany 😊 I'd also like to go to England, but they say the weather is often bad and there's a lot of rain. I live a few miles from Mariposa, Hidden behind main street is a little bar called the Hideout. Its actually in the basement of one of the shops. Best food in town.
A quick tip as i always have 1 for battery life. I always have a solar powered battery pack. Well worth the buy being a photographer so would be well worth it investing in 1 Courtney. Have fun fun fun.
Morniiiing! I wished this video was longer. Why are brake/indicator lights flashing at 3:10 for eg.? A new, annoying safety feature or electrical fault? More road trips please, if possible. I subbed CSM after road trip in Wales. But lol, Pringles and beer for dinner 😟. I guess uber eats wouldn't deliver to the ranch.
Haha! It was pretty out in the middle of nowhere so no Uber eats 😂 the crisps were good though! 👌🏼 there’s some American crisps we can’t get over here so I was quite happy with the crisps and beer haha As for the lights, do you mean the kinda way it flashes from one side to the other? I think it’s just an Indian thing as I noticed that on the other girls bikes on the first day, then admittedly forgot about it and never really questioned it! Perhaps I’ll have to look up why they do that now 😂😂

Well if you come to Scotland let me know and I'll get megaphone and badger you from a distance as you cross the border! If you do come up hopefully it will be better weather than when you were on the Zero's. Most people shoot up to the Highlands and miss a lot of what the borders have to offer. Some lovely roads there and nice small towns like Kelso, Melrose etc. Edinburgh is a lovely city to visit as well but unfortunately has a bike theft issue 😢 Anyhow, look forward to seeing whatever it is you get up to next, take care and ride safe👍
