  • We are back with another video! And today's adventure is little different from the norm.. It's not quite hiking and it's not quite backpacking.. but the adventure aspect of the trip was still there. Today we paddle boarded to Peewee Falls AKA Pewee Falls in the Northeastern part of Washington State. Peewee Falls is located on Boundary Lake and we took off from Boundary Dam Campground. We used our SUPs and paddled approximately 15 minutes to the falls, and then 15 minutes back and it made for an awesome little trip!

You know it is a good day when you get a notification that Danny S. just posted a new video!!!!
That opening shot you took of the lake with the sea of pines running down both sides was incredible. What a beautiful shot!!!
Glad to see Tessa and Lolly were able to make it. The life vest for Lolly was hysterical!! We noticed it said Land Shark, but we didn’t see the dorsal fin until later in the video. I think it blended in with the paddle board in the background. We cracked up when we saw it later. That was awesome!!! 😊
Great shot of all of you leaving shore. The water was so clear, you could count the rocks. It looked like someone was filming you, until my Mom said, “oh, he will have to come back for his camera.” I didn’t realize you left it behind. The zoom shots made it seem like you had a cameraman. 😊
The weather looked perfect. It looked like you 3 pretty much had the entire lake to yourselves. It must be amazing to be in a place like that with so few people!
Oh wow, looks like someone got their drone license!!! Congratulations on passing the test!!! Whooo Hooo!!! As soon as I saw the first aerial shot, it reminded me of your earlier videos. So glad to see those back in the video! Cannot wait to see more!!!
Loved the tiny little island you paddled by. That was super cool.
Awesome reveal shot of the falls. Absolutely breath taking! Your Go Pro camera work is always outstanding. The drone footage really complimented it and it gave great perspective. I am sure it was very difficult to do all that camera work by yourself, but you made it look effortless and it really added to the video.
The close-up shots of the falls were amazing! It looked like it took some effort to paddle near them, because of the force of the water pushing back. We were pretty surprised to see how shallow it appeared to be at the base of the falls. It seemed like you could stand up in the water when you got close, but that could have been the effect of the water being so clear.
As soon as the drone shot of the water rushing over the falls appeared, my Mom said wow, that is what she was hoping to see!!! Excellent work!!! Simply breath taking!!! The descent shot and the overhead shots were second to none. I can’t imagine capturing the beauty of those scenes any better!!! Outstanding job!!! The music was awesome too!!!
It was around the 5:20 mark when we noticed the shark fin on Lolly’s back. That made us LOL. She sounded a bit anxious that Tessa was so far away. She looked happy to get back on shore and that maybe she wasn’t quite used to the water yet.
Those paddle boards looked awesome. I couldn’t believe how big and solid they were. I don’t know much about them, but they looked like they were built like tanks and had plenty of room for supplies. They look like surf boards on steroids. I am definitely going to check out the link in the description to learn more about them. I hope you can incorporate those in future vids, but I would imagine that could be difficult with the size.
Throughout the video my Mom and I commented how well behaved Lolly was and she looked like she was having so much fun on the paddle board. We LOL when you mentioned how many times she went overboard. 😊 That was funny!!! Ah, the magic of editing! One thing you can say for sure, is that pup is one strong swimmer. When you called her back to the paddle board, she made it back there pretty quickly. She kicked it into turbo mode!
OMG, hehehehehe, thanks so much for the shout out!!! My Mom and I were watching the video together and WOW what a pleasant and very unnecessary surprise. We pretty much fell over. 😊 I told my Mom she is Internet famous now. 😊😊😊
You provide your subscribers with so much outstanding content, and we thoroughly, thoroughly enjoy it!!! We are so glad all of you had a great time!!! 😊😊😊
We can’t wait for your next adventure!!!
We hope all of you have a Wonderful and Happy Independence Day!!!
    Stay safe and be well!!!

Thanks my friend! It was fun getting away from the trail on this one and getting to do something a little bit different! The waterfall is huge, and it made for an awesome trip. Hopefully you'll get to cross it off the list next summer. Thanks for the support to the channel and for leaving a comment! Cheers!

We made it to the falls.. I’d say it was the right way.
