@Pharrell1 drove the speed 3 and it was a smidge of a let down, the example I drove had an evap leak and the interior quality was meh. Drove a 2 door mk6 gti and bought one. I got it from the Tech at my dealership, 2010 GTI manual with a tune. This thing is a blast, loving it. And it only had 58k miles when I got it
I've only had mine a month. I've put a lot of miles on it for only a month though. It's the best car I've ever owned. Can't speak on reliability as I have only owned the car a few weeks, however it's the single most exciting daily driver I've ever had. It's plenty practical. Tons of space and it's decently quick. Looks really good too. It's comfortable and the AC is ICE cold. Stereo is good. I'm not a huge fan of the shifter bushings. I'm going to get upgraded ones and see if it helps but sometimes 2-3 feels really numb mine the bushings aren't great. It's not just my car either. Every gen 2 I've ever driven has felt this way. That's really my only complaint with the whole car and I'm fairly certain it's fixable. The car is just a laugh all the time. I love it.
What’s it cost to run these? Heard they’re thirsty? I know cars like this aren’t about mpg, but with fuel prices so high atm hoping to daily something like this could get expensive quick? What’s your throughts?
@@traceurGeorge If I throw mine on a eco tune, I get around 33mpg on the highway. Really depends how heavy your foot is. If you're in boost all rhe time, she's gonna burn though gas faster than my dad pounding down the liquor.
Dude eff these haters man I’m in love with it!!! I just got a black 2012 and it’s fully stock and let me tell you it’s fun already as it is. I’m trying to get to your level though as far as under the hood. How much power you think you’ve gained with the mods you’ve made?
Clean ones are not available for good deals right now. I spent almost 20 grand on mine after shipping and it has 90k on it but it was completely stock and the cleanest one I had looked at even though it was $5000 more expensive, I thought it would be worth it. Don't look for a good deal on a clean one right now. Get ready to grab your ankles. You read that right. 20 fucking grand for a decade old Mazda with almost 100k on it. If it's clean, you're going to pay big time.
This car was customised using Need for speed underground rating system
I love everything about the speed 3s and I’m hoping to save enough to buy it for my first car. Love the car and can’t wait to see more of it.
I was in your position, now im looking for my second car and can afford a speed 3. Looking at one tuesday!
@@j.a.g.8689 Hows the speed3 been? currently saving up to get one for my second vehicle

@@thatkid11767 cheers for your reply! What you mean by throw it on an eco tune? Does the car have dual ECU’s or something?
@@traceurGeorge Cobb Accessport or similar programmer let's you load custom tunes onto the factory ecu
Yours is the only second gen I like. Really nice looking car 👍
I’m the same way I’ve had the parts for months now and I’m just now getting around to installing them.
I've said the same thing with my speed, it's a forever car.

Best car I’ve ever owned coming from a 2021 Subaru wrx and I’ll still choose this over my old Subaru
Have you changed your clutch yet?

I bought mine back in 2019 too, and i only put 15,000km on it lol
Have you actually noticed an intake temp decrease with the little 350z cowl you put on?
Is it safe to run a stock eco mode map on cobb access port
What triple gauge pillar you running?
Once my speed gets wrapped and has some new shoes I'll def be doing a roadtrip to Canada for the next meet!
Hell yeah!
Hey the engine light is because of the new update of the cobb accesport right? Doesn’t let u erase cat delete?
Nope I’m just lazy to delete it lol
I’ve put over 100k on both of my 6s in under 2 years 😂

Looool it’s jokes you can see the carbon build up on his garage from the exhaust😂😂
Yup😂
