IT'S SO BAD! Devil May Cry 2 HD Full Playthrough - My FIRST Time Playing This Game

Something to note about this games style system is not to use combos. Just alternate between hightime and stinger, and shoot to sustain the rank, then activate DT to clear the enemies.
The biggest crime though is how they have the original combos from the first game available... after you clear the game six times. You gotta unlock Trish or DMC1 Dante by beating each difficulty for both characters. At that time its pointless and no ones gonna keep playing.
Not only that, but infinite DT is locked behind a cheat code instead of just clearing DMD mode.
However the best things this game did should be recognized. Its the best Dante outfit in the series, it introduced Bloody Palace, and it gave us the Super DT you can only access when your health is in the red. Sadly that never returned, nor did Lucia :(

I enjoyed watching you play dmc2 for the first time.
Wow you completely skipped getting the quick demon heart in m4. (Basically the gate is supposed to close before you get to it, thus forcing you to get the heart.) You did a skip on the first try that speedrunners sometime fail very impressive.
I found it amusing how would fight almost enemy encounter even though so many are skipable (like that 2nd orangatang monkey boss fight before the tanks.) Honestly most of the game is large and skippable sadly.
I will say it drove me a bit crazy to see you not utilzing the devil trigger as much (especially to heal.) Though you are playing so, I will respect your choices.
I would recommed having your face in any other corner of the screen when playing dmc. Just so the viewers can see your health and DT bar.
Just a FYI you can escape a lot of grabs and holds by using DT
also in DT you can fly with the fly aerial heart. I think you forget about it a couple times where it could have been useful.
There are different combos with the swords but they depend on how you move the analog stick during them. Not very intuitive at all.
I actually havent watched your playthough of dmc1 yet so I will do that now and I look forward to seeing you play 3. (3 is a lot better dont worry.)

Wow that’s pretty funny I did a speedrunner skip and didn’t know it 😂 I even forgot myself that a lot of the fights are skippable until I get annoyed and it dawns on me to just skip them. Idk why but whenever there is some kind of ultimate move or something I can do in a game that does a lot of damage that uses meter or an item I always tend to not use it and I save it for emergency situations, I’ve always played games like that but DMC is pretty generous with building the DT meter so I have remind myself sometimes it’s safe to use it. I do need to be more mindful of where my camera is when playing games. Thank you for watching this video, I’m really glad you enjoyed it. I hope you enjoy my DMC1 playthrough but I had I had a rough time with that game 😂 I am going to be playing DMC3 soon and I can’t wait because I keep hearing it’s the best one
