- Problem: You've probably ran out of buttons. Solution: Don't use a normal mouse to play War Thunder. Use an MMO mouse. Like the EVGA X15. Or the Corsair Darkstar Wireless. This review shows all the advantages and disadvantages of the X15 and comparable mice. Now you finally have enough buttons to bind als this radar stuff and the weapon selection.

Forgot some important things:
- You can easily push two of the side buttons at the same time. So you can fire all guns once
- If you have flexible fingers you can use all of the side buttons with a little training
- You might use 9 and 10 to switch profiles
- The Darkstar has 5 instead of 6 (workable) buttons on the side. So it's one less in the end
I have had this mouse for two years now and it still works perfectly,, I bought it to replace my Naga, the Naga was nice but it kept breaking after 4 months , after the third Naga broke I bought this mouse, it works very well when used with the split fish analog controller, as I have all the buttons I need with an analog stick with more buttons on the grip which makes a playthrough in games like Elden ring an dark souls a breeze now as I can move like i can when using a controller. I recommend this mouse especially if your moving from consoles to PC or are having trouble adjusting to keyboard and mouse.
my only problems with "gaming mouses" is that they last waaaaay les than cheap crap that i use in work. I hawe Naga X from Razer not even a year and miggle button is not responding. Corsair MMO mouse was the same middle button died. I had logitech g50 that lasted 4 years or so then left click died.
Yes. Mice are weird. For example I have a Razer DA Chroma that lasts since 2017 with no problems at all. On the other hand another Razer fell apart within a year. You never seem to know.
Try a Logitech g600, if you can still one. They do last quite while. Plus that forth button on top is great.
For me, the weight outright kills it for me. I play shooters too, wether competitive or not, and just from a comfort perspective it doesn't make sense. I'd rather just suffer the penalty of having to use keyboard buttons for most actions, it's not like I use them anyways
Legit
@@WatchMysh Besides I'm a noob, I need to work on my skull issue not buy gear
but that gamepad you mentioned seems interesting, I await that review with much anticipation
@@Fantastic_Mr_Fox thanks :) I'm nearly done with the review. For me it's the best combo of price / peformance / versatility and looks. Others might disagree.
And yeah: skill trumps equipment 99/100 times
btw this the best review for this mouse on youtube. nice job man
Good video. When I bought my mouse. I was on the fense on whether to choose between an MMO mouse and a Logitech G502 X. I have since gone with the G502 X because it allows me to play both shooters and War Thunder instead of needing to switch between mouses. Still though, I would highly recommend people to get the G502 Hero, Lightspeed, X, X Wireless, and X Plus. You get 9 (G502 Hero and Lightspeed) and 10 (G502 X, X wireless, and X Plus). However, I recommend to go with the X because they come with a removable button for the sniper mode (can be changed to something else) that allows you to use the sniper button even though you don't have a very long thumb.
Good choice :) I don't play competitive shooters anymore, so the choice for me was easy.
I am also using the G502 Hero and want to add you can also push the mousewheel to the left and right which results in two more buttons. From the pictures it looks like you can do the same with the X15.
@@MissVerstand3n you can
Ok but.
Mice. The plural of mouse is mice
I've actually got a competitor to this mouse in the Naga X. Been using it for years. My bindings differ from yours, though, in that I use the MMB for activating the lock-on for AAMs, and RMB to fire. Alt+RMB for secondary cycle. But as you said, it all boils down to personal preference.
Absolutely.
I thought of this solution yesterday and see your video today :))) ps:I came to see the hotas thing only lol
Nice to have you here at another video! :)
great video tbh I though you had like idk 100k subs because of the quality
Wow, thanks! :) It's been a long way until I reached this level of quality. Seing it appreciated is awesome. Reaching 100k is the dream I'm chasing. Your comment just contributed to it. Thanks for watching my stuff and telling me you liked it. Means a lot! :)
Does it auto-switch profile when you alt-tab? (like G600 does)
Sadly not
just use weapon selection, radar on numbers and 5 button mouse. It's enough for me atleast
How did you bind your mouse buttons?
A new MYSH video. Good stuff. I've been wanting to remap my keys to my mouse, I use the Logitech G502 Hero. It comes with a few extra buttons, sadly I play WT very in between nowadays and every time I come back, the new update forces me to rebind everything.
funny thing i bought this mouse before seeing this video just for warthunder lol
I have 2 of them.. brought 2 years apart.. both have a REALLY bad mouse wheel.. you cant use it to scroll up and down. because it will move up or down randomly.
one have one and come back.. same story..
when you search for this issue one guys got his response back from EVGA and the solution was to rub the wheel on your pad fast for 30s and thats the official solution.. LOL
no it don't work.
Totally sucks. Happened to my initial mouse as well. Got it replaced. My replacement still works. I've already ordered a better sensor from AliExpress. Will solder it in once the stock one fails.
@@WatchMysh It really does suck.. I have just put in for an RMA as there is still a year left on it's warranty!
When thats back ill send off my other.
:D
This vid pushed me to take action!!!
Thanks!!
I have 2 friends that have perfect mice :( I must have brought 2 from the same bad batch xD
just my luck!
Cheers
@@WatchMysh what sencor did you get? as I have 2 I can try it with another one!
@@Maradnus I'll check. But this might take a while. Have to find my order...
@@WatchMysh no rush, appricated. Thanks
dayum this thing is a macropad on sensors
Yeah It's basically a replica of the original world of Warcraft mouse from 2009. Back then you had like 62 abilities and this many buttons was necessary. Wouldn't recommend it for a shooting game but for a MMO it's a great mouse
this mouse typ i have a long time in my head, But I was unsure if it would work with these games. and this are special with the 1-9 buttons... ty 4 the good testing...greetz
You're welcome. :)
how do I actually assign buttons?
I have the app but the setting wont stick
Had the same problem. You need to apply them on each page.
Hi @Mysh. I've just found your page... I do enjoy your humour, but I love your informative and really helpful vids. I have only the use of one hand (my right), as my left side is paralysed. So I use the Logitech G600 mmo mouse (which has a forth top button also), which is great for 'wasd', whilst I still have plenty of buttons left over (for ARMA 3). The evga may be a good consideration to replace the G600, as Logitech have discontinued it. With no real replacement...
Anyway, I want to get back into X4 (well it was X3 back then..) Foundations. So I need a joystick with MANY buttons so I DON'T NEED TO take my hand off the stick in the middle of the action... I'm gonna go cheap at first, just to see if it's possible, then spend 200+ if all's good. Sorry for the long msge...
Hope you do really well, you deserve all the success in the future. 🙂 (any help from your viewers would be great too)
Thanks for the nice words and appreciation. :) Hope you're right and I can gain more traction here on UA-cam. Giving my best to do so. :)
I personally don't use my hotas for X4 because the mouse flight controls work so well. Did you see my tutorials? X4 also transitions into an economic sim rather quickly which forces you to switch between joystick and m/k all the time.
You might also keep an eye on the Corsair Darkstar wireless. It has fewer buttons but a lift function which might work well for you. I didnt try it out, yet. Like I said in the video: 170€ for an experiment is a bit steep.
@@WatchMysh Interesting. I should be asleep right now, I'll be going through all your vids asap. I'll look into the Corsair soon. See if it does help me. Oh thanks for the quick reply. 🙂
