Cameras can not do hills justice. That hill climb was insanely steep. I can't believe that there were so many brave souls ascending. The kids and I are excited for next year. It was fun to meet everyone. What a great group of people!
Awesome video. I have a 18' 1000-5 Deluxe, and not more than 2 hours north of RRB. Shame I missed out this year, but hope to make it next year if it's back at RRB.
Looks like me and the wife will have to bring the p5 up next year, god willing. Oh and +1 for the ocala guy who says come to Florida and ride- not so much with the rocks but we have our fun. Great video!
I wish I was able to make the destination ride the forum is putting on but I won’t be able to this year. That right when baby number three is due! I’ll get other there next year for sure!
Just returned from several days riding around Moab. Incredible scenery and riding challenges you can't duplicate anywhere else. I will be watching for the SXS western dates.
Jason, I live in Lake Havasu Az,lots of utvs out here but I've only seen a couple hondas out here, mostly Polaris & cam ams.so I really like watching your videos,u can tell there doing good there starting to get a lot of commercials.
I have watched one of your UA-cam that you mentioned Pioneer Switch Panels and accessories, since then I have liked their facebook page. Question for you, I have a 2019 Honda Pioneer 700-4s want to find out if you have installed a second battery or if you could give me suggestions. I don't have a second compartment like the Pioneer 1000 has. Thanks Pete
Still in pieces...lol. Getting ready for the Takeover and having my truck break down on the way home kind of depleted my funds for the time being. Zippy’s on hold for now but he won’t be forgotten. I’ll get back to him one of these days.
Great idea! Proper loading and tie down, how the truck should be set up to tow safely, things like that would make great vids. Especially to those who may be buying a Utv for the first time. I’ll will definitely do some of those!
I hear that. I had a hard time finding one with a tall enough opening to fit the 1000. 99% of the ones I looked at (wanted to find a good used one mine you so didn’t even look at new) were all 2” too short.
I just purchased a travel trailer, non toy hauler. but I retire in 5.5 years so I can promise you ill be buying a 1000-5 and shoe horning it in a 30ft toy hauler
I just came up on your videos today and have been watching them for hours. Now I want to buy the Honda pioneer 500 since it is a good price. But I would like to build it like yours so I was wondering when are you going to start selling a custom mighty mouse edition pioneer 500?
How long (miles/time) will you go out with the kiddos for? I really enjoyed this video by the way! Things like this with your family will never be forgotten and your kids will talk about it nonstop until the next time you go out with them.
At the Takeover we where out for about 5-6hrs with them with only a couple stops. At home we usually don’t have that much time so usually it’s between a half hour to an hour at a time out for a quick ride before I go to work. My kids, more so my son than my daughter, absolutely love to ride so they don’t mind longer rides.
Doing some research I came across your install video of the Rogue Powerscreen windshield and remember you saying that you were going to use it on this ride and do a more in depth review. I am trying to decide on whether or not it's worth $400. Can you please give ame a more detailed review and or opinion kind sir? And can you tell me how it's holding up? Thnx. Mark
Holding up great! Over two years of abuse on my 500 and it still looks new! In fact, since the vid I sold the pioneer 1000-5, bought a Yamaha Wolverine X4, and bought the Bug buster screen for it as one of my very first purchases for it. So that makes three I’ve bought now and I love them!
I have a 2017 pioneer I've been experiencing a minor issue. When riding for a while and I come to a stop it hesitates to take off from a complete stop, it will jerk a little then be smooth shifting. Any one have an idea what it might be.
I don’t know a hole lot about the 700 unfortunately. Have yet to get my hands on one. Check over on hondasxs.com I bet the guys on there would be able to trouble shoot for you
Thanks for stopping by! The only thing Honda is behind in is speed. Unfortunately that’s what everyone judges a machine by. Here in the east coast with the trails I have, speed means squat. No room to use it...lol. The speed thing will hopefully change come November! We’re finally getting out pure sport machine!!!!!! Honda has quite a large following! You just don’t realize it because we don’t have as much to complain about as owners of other brands...lol.
Take the confederate flag out of the thumbnail and I’d love to be a new sub……..inclusion seems pretty smart given Honda isn’t a domestic brand……..common bro. USA for the WIN🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸!
Great video Jay. the best one yet!!!

Hey, the P5 is all snorkeled and vented for that swamp you call land down there...lol. Would love to do some riding in Florida sometime!
Really enjoy your videos keep them coming
That was one of your best videos !!😀👍
You will be blown away by the riding in Utah! It will be interesting to see how the P500 likes the slick rock!

Great long video keep it up👍🏻
What kind of permit or riding pass do you need to ride royal blue? Is it so much per person or machine? Thanks
When is this
Hey it’s Connor I met ya there hopefully you can come to Florida and see where we ride!!!
Definitely! Would love to hit some Florida trails!
Hog waller nov. 29th.. Its the real deal.. And the YETI will be there..
What state do you guys stay in or is it multiple?
that first scene reminds me of vintage film of Model A Fords on rough roads
Sorry for me asking but hows zippy?
Still in pieces...lol. Getting ready for the Takeover and having my truck break down on the way home kind of depleted my funds for the time being. Zippy’s on hold for now but he won’t be forgotten. I’ll get back to him one of these days.
AppalachianMountainRiders i understand, if you need help figuring something out on zippy let me know and i will try to help
any1 with a full cab ride in the rain? does it leak? looking to upgrade and need some input. also how warm is the full cab in summer.
Like hell in july
If had been there with my pioneer you would've only had to ask me once to jump into that cold water for your shot.
Id like to see more videos including more shots utilizing the toy hauler. Loading/ unloading etc. Great vids though

Its also good intel for those who want certain machines to see what haulers they may or may not fit in
Like myself,,,,lol

How did u transport the Honda 1000 and Honda 500 together
I haul the 500 in the bed of my truck (its an 8’ bed) and the 1000 went in toy hauler.

Pennsylvania
Great video guys tanks i watched the whole thing but every thing honda is so far behind times it is hard to think there is a following.
