- We are officially starting the nursery makeover, today we will tare down the office. We are starting off by removing the peel and stick wallpaper and I will show you how to preserve peel and stick wallpaper! Next, I will show you samples from Love Vs Design wallpaper company! Mom bedding hack (think I got it from Brittany Vasseur). Layer the crib sheets: mattress protector, sheet, mattress protector, sheet. That way if little buddy leaks through his clothes in the middle of the night you can just quickly strip the first layer and work on settling him back down.
I'm a special needs nanny. I've been suggesting this hack for years.
Oh that's amazing! We actually are using the Newton mattress which is breathable therefore we can't use normal sheets or mattress pads. Basically the mattress just rinses off!

Light is really pretty but you may want to keep the fan. Babies tend to love fans; it's super weird but true. My little one is mesmerized by hers. Also great for keeping the room cool. Do what you think is best though. I'm sure it will look great.
Both my kids loved fans 😂 they would laugh in Home Depot while in the fan aisle
I also read something about fans reducing the likelihood of SIDS so I second!

Love the wallpaper! I think you should go with a blue and paint the trim, it could look so cool! The last colour on that swatch was nice. The vintage-y trim would look amazing! I could also see white or grey but I vote blue! I'm excited to see what you do. Also, I love the ceiling light 🥰

Painting,climbing up ladders can make you go into labor early. My friend just did that. Her child also has complications. Just be careful, you can paint later the fumes are not good for you or the baby
It's actually perfectly safe! It's more of an old wives tale that those things are dangerous. Being careful not to fall off of a ladder is important but going up one, just like going up steps will not cause early labor. It's all things I've discussed with my doctor and did tons of research on. So sorry to hear about your friend, I pray her and her baby are safe!
your husband doesn't seem to care very much. he should have lifted that crib.

Fans are really good for babies. They help prevent sids, being able to circulate air is important when sick or on hot days. Also babies love looking at fans!

Congrats! Boys are awesome 💙 I don’t know if someone has mentioned this, but fans help prevent SIDS. When I was doing my boys’ nurseries, the fan didn’t go with the aesthetic, but I kept it because safety! Just something to think about.

We have a theme picked out for when he's around 1.5/2years old so we will be re-doing the room then!
Does the crib have a drop side feature? I feel like the mattress is really low in the bed and will be hard for you to reach in and put the baby in. But I know some cribs have a feature where they can move the mattress up or down too.
Anyone know any good wallpaper brands. I'm not experienced and something easy to peel on and off please!!

How good is life?
My favorite wallpaper is the bird and branch toile(twall), it is very Beatrix Potter without being so obvious. It reads as birds in a tree from many of her books, plus the crib is kind of a birdcage look. Great for a nursery or toddler room. I do like the gingham a lot but it is more of a nursery vibe, not toddler, which he will be before you blink.
