I made mine the exact same way. Only thing different was I used black colored paper behind the PSA case. The black paper looks better and hides that wood back board color from coming through. Great video :)
Not even uv protection is gonna help.. its slows it. I understand people want to display them.. but natural light like sun light is gonna damage them big time.
@@colton8054 no not so much. It's no big deal, but I recently bought the same card graded again, and if you compare them.. you can definitely see what 12 years of natural light has done to the card.
@@colton8054 I can't say it works 100% but I use some type of glas you can also Use for pictures to keep them nice. I cut the glas in the size I need.. and put it in front of the display case I use for a couple of my psa cards. I believe any photo store can help you with that. @@AFROKID116 Keep it out of direct sunlight. Normal lightbulbs also emit some UV but not a lot however LED lights don't so if you have something expensive, get LED lights. Finally, if you have something expensive that you can't afford to fade, get a frame that has UV protective glass/acrylic that museums use. Look up on etsy called "Pokemon card PSA slab display frame - 3x1" if you something that is UV resistant. I can't post the link because youtube is dumb and keeps deleting this comment.
@@fireram360 awesome thanks for the info! Im not going to be framing psa cards sense i dont have any i was just thinking of framing some of my old decks that i played back in the day !
@@AFROKID116 if the deck isn't super valuable, I would just get some Ultra Pro Magnetic One-Touches and get a cheap frame since UV Resistant Acrylic is quite expensive. If it's a expensive or sentimental thing that you want to preserve, then go for the UV acrylic.
Hello guys, i need your help. I bought me some psa cards and want to display them. My biggest fear is that the cards doesnt stand UV lights. Is there some kind of psa card frame with maximum UV protection?
Hey I know this is a tad late but looking to do something similar for 9x ungraded, 1x graded and 2x sealed boosters - would you suggest I do as you’ve done? Simply cut the slots according to what is going in?

Awesome video! As a new collector, I had yet to figure out a good way to display, and now I can!
Very good call on the foam board. Didn't think of that.. no idea why.. well.. time to order some frames and board
This is wonderful, thank you!
Yasss amazing video! Thanksssssss
This is great man
Omg awesome video! Thank you.
I mean I'd recommend some UV resistant glass so they don't get faded from the light

If the light doesn't directly hit it it won't effect it though right?

Can you printing pokemon flippo tazos? Please do tazos
Going to try this with some Ultra Pro One Touch Cases :o
Did it work? Did you have to do something extra for it to work?
This looks great but I would watch out for uv light since those cards will fade over time with enough exposure.
Any tips on how to prevent that?

Well explained thank you, you even answered the question I had. Will the same frame fit five 😂
Great idea.
Any updated frame from ikea or another store you would recommend as the product doesn't seem available anymore?
Very cool. Do you mind telling us how much does it weight? Thank you
What was the thickness of the foam board you used?
Any tips on how to prevent any damage to the cards from the light?
I wouldn’t put expensive cards near sunlight. There are uv protected glass frames but I wouldn’t trust it.
Any recommendations on cutting clean straight lines in the foam??
Sharp new blade and multiple passes
How thick should the frame be

Awesome work?
Do you know if acrylic glass by standard UV protective? What makes glass UV protectant?
Definitely not UV protected. This is in my den where it’s usually dark. You’ll have to find frames with UV protective glass /acrylic.
@@KenVersus Thanks man
You can buy UV filter film. Apply it over the existing glass or acrylic and presto.
I noticed that you have a floating shelf that is not in the corner of your walls so how did you do it?! And it looks longer and bigger,
I use butterfly drywall anchors to mount the shelf. Shelf is from ikea.
How big is the foam board though? Do you have a link to it? Great video by the way.
you can get any size, just cut it to the appropriate size of the frame

yeah. Cut them to size by measuring the dimensions.
@@KenVersus thanks man, do you have any suggestions for a base frame to buy for 9 cards (3x3?)
Would this also work for CGC cards?
For sure. I made one for bgs, psa, and cgc
