i saw a video about it being an exe mod, the thing is the guy in the video already played it so he started on the tv screen menu, so i was excited to play coz it looked cool, so i downloaded it and when i opened it i was rlly confused, and as i played thru it i was like "did i download the wrong mod?" it was still cool tho and then HE FUCKING BECAME EXE, i literally KNEW this was an EXE mod and it STILL fucking tricked me, its honestly amazing

One thing I really like about this song is that you can pretty quickly tell something is wrong before sonic actually transforms with the music and the background art

@sajo7129This EXE actually has traits in common with Lord X as well as OG EXE, for example, Lord X is known for the gray shoes. I think what the previous comment was referring to is the fact that his poses in the third act are very feral and animalistic compared to EXE's normal portrayal as a murderous mastermind.

Sonic’s sprites in phase 3 look unsettling. Terrifying is probably a better term. The way he is hunched over, almost seeming tired and lifeless, yet he can kill you in a number of ways you can’t even fathom. The question is: when will he strike?
When i first played this is was so excited to see a normal sonic mod for once. But in this song, once i saw sonics eyes turn black i was like "son of a bitch!"
Somehow, and although I already saw it coming, the fact that, unexpectedly, in such a beautiful song, it became its EXE form gave me a fatal rage.
But joking aside, the concept of a "Trap Mod" is something very original and actually good, whoever made this was very genuine
PD: Come to think of it, the name "Rodent *Trap* " makes more sense now

I don’t know if anyone noticed but, comparing OG X and xenophanes is interesting, unlike xeno, X keeps his cool and is just having a blast of a time, not screaming or even tryna kill him directly, he simply just having a fun time while also of course with the end goal to kill him, I missed OG X because he feels kinda similar to horror M in MM v2, keeps his cool but strikes when it’s a fun opportunity (probably looking to much into it but, it’s cool :D.)

Technically he looses his cool at the third part of the song, if he cries black liquid out of his eyes thats a indication that he's excited hence why hes crying black blood during his reveal, although in the third phase that's absent most likely because hes loosing patience.

Obituary does such an amazing job of doing what it's supposed to do.
The song appears to be normal, but as you continue through it, you can look around and see things. Why is the eclipse happening? Why is that flower dead? Why do the totem poles have such.. distraught looking faces?
And by the time you fully notice, it's probably too late.
