RE-UPLOAD: UA-cam had an issue with a part of the music background in the original. I had to remove this video and change out the music. Crazy, right?
One reason why I subscribed to your channel was that you were different in that you did not use time lapse like most of the artist on youtube. I learned more by watching the real progression of the drawing. Now you have become like the majority & I will search for another real time artist. Thank you for the tips and education. Best to you.
You learn really quick that MOST people don't want to watch me take 30 minutes to draw a line on paper. You would die of boredom and there would be a hundred videos on just one drawing. So the trade-off is to speed up parts already covered and slow down if a point needs to be taught. Also, you can slow down the video yourself within UA-cam. You know that, right? Hope you find what you're looking for. No one can make everyone happy unfortunately in this area.
Very nice 👍🙏
Thank you! Cheers!
Really excellent video it was really interesting to see you use so many different types of graphite and charcoal and different brands. I have the Conté pencil you demonstrated and I love it, there is a strange softness to it, not at all like ordinary charcoal pencils. As always you art is staggeringly awesome and I can’t wait to see this one finished.
Glad you enjoyed it! This drawing was finished awhile ago. Be sure to watch the other parts. I had to re-upload this due to UA-cam having issue with part of the background music. Thanks for watching and commenting.
What is the best size size paper for drawing a portrait of a face? I have been using A4 papaer, but I would like to go up to A3
Is there no 'best size'. It all depends on how big you want your drawing to be.
